  1. this stuff hurts my brain in the most delightful way The Truth Hurts this shit is divine
  2. the set is by DJ Skywarp, entitled "604" nothing to do with IM, as far as I know.... just a misnomer the "gigantic creature" sample is hidden deep inside Divine Moments of Truth by Shpongle and the sample goes.... "and it was like a gigantic creature... that kept changing shape." There is a tracklist floating somewheres around the forum.
  3. the first track off of Prometheus' second album... it's called "Arcadia Magik" the logic is undeniable... it's so twisted. both melancholic and uplifting... personally, my favorite combination of motions for illumination
  4. Visit Phluff's MySpace and click on "Blue Ice Cream Cone" Written four months back on Reason 3.0. Tell me what you think.
  5. I was excited to see this page, as 1200 Mic's was one of the first acts that brought me into psy. Admittedly, they aren't High Quality Psychedelic Music... I like what I like, and the same of you... but Raja can put together some uplifting and enlightening melodies and counter-melodies, and GMS is your basic classic melodic synth-psy group. I don't like every album, and most of the time I don't like it all the way through... but "Egypt Land of the Pharoahs" and "Mescaline" are two songs that illustrate the two different sides to this particular grouping of producers: playful, psychedelic chaos and the experience of illumination. And isn't that really what it's all about?
  6. definitely pre-order We can't just think of this on the fan's scale. Simon and Benji are probably thinking about changing the world... as they should, with their vision and popularity. So they decided to use Younger Brother as a tool to join in on the Rock Band circuits. They love all sorts of different music, so Simon will do his electronic stuff with Shpongle and Hallucinogen and Benji with Prometheus. I imagine there will also still be quite a bit of electronic music from Younger Brother, too. But they have a responsibility. Armageddon, the end of the Dark Ages, eternal salvation, blah blah blah. So they're contacting a larger audience so as to bring them into the Psy scene, and hopefully get turned on to Taoism. Or something like that...
  7. :wank: Give this song a listen. When I was a kid, I watched a lot of TV... every day. It was the beginning and end of my universe. The Simpsons was my favorite "program." As I look back, I realize that television can be a useful medium to convey a heady message (i.e. when illustrating extra-dimensional visions) but in my life, the vast majority of TV shows, commercials, and movies that I see do not rub my rod the right way. So, I penned the line "Don't you feel productive watching this TV sit?" and wrote a song called "This TV Sit." I'm still doing some production on it... suggestions are appreciated. http://www.myspace.com/phluffmusic
  8. just gave this album a listen... I got a little tired of the drug samples, but then a lot of people have sub-par sampling. Not extremely psychedelic, about to the point where you're communicating non-verbally but not yet to time travel. ABout the Infected discussion... It was quite obvious when i listened to it... it's like the spacesuit guy said but one step further The song is called "Consciousness" to explain the fact that in the back in the day Infected was in their own league... but that now the next generation of producers is taking their learnings a step further. I haven't listened to both at the same time... but I knew when I first heard "Consciousness" that it was meant to fill in and serve as a new experience with a trip that we already know and love... and take it even further. I thought it was bloody brilliant.
