  1. when he had his album in the download section he had tons of reactions, also his albums were sold like hot cakes if I remember correctly :) So we love you Kim :) More Hedingarna Remixes damned! :P

A Hedningarna remix?! Which track would that be?

  2. His official wesite stated he is releasing his trance album (Shapeshifter) very soon too... good year for him

edit: actually he's decided to change the name to Telepathik due to numerous Shapeshifter's out there already

One of those Shape Shifters did release a psytrance album back in 1998:

Hugh Sharpe, one of the members, actually posted some links to his retrospective mixes a few months back in the promotion subforum.

  3. more seriously and talking about this noise . first of all it s a bad dat tape noise . it was on the only tape we had . we could have erased it but then you miss a bar . we though ok, let s be old school and put it on the cd like this . i personnaly like it , this noise, reminds me of the good times .you know , dat tapes , shiva candles , incense and stuff .

Yes, we are all aware of the good old times and were we are at the present is light years from that. Please, bring back the good times instead of looking back at them! We want more old school Transwave, incense and Shiva stuff! ;)

  4. I can even recall a case where someome blamed me in public at Isratrance that i didnt allow him entrance into one of my parties because he supported a different football team than me when the truth was that i was trying to explain him for more than 30 minutes in front of the party that i couldnt let him in unless he changed his top outfit because he was wearing a football team t shirt and this could lead into further problems and even a fight inside the club by some people that could get irritated by that.

A fight inside the club because he's wearing a football team t-shirt?

It seems to me like you denied the wrong person/persons entry...

  6. I remember what he said:

...The only thing that i can say is that Gabriel will not dissapoint you with another full on come back like many great artists of the past are doing in our days.

His album will be 100% psychedelic trance including also some more progressive tunes and ofcourse some ambient stuff,i wish i could share his new stuff with you but i guess you have to wait a little bit...

Detox also claimed that the new Pleiadians album will be a masterpiece...

  7. This is a quote from a Quirk interview from 1998. They're talking about their masterpiece debut album:

"With a lot of trance albums simply a collection of full-on tunes with a short shelf life, Mark and Tim aimed to create a package that wouldn't be disposable, something from which different parts would stand out the more it got listened to. "We wanted people to find reference in it at different times over as long a period as possible, so that it's not just a throw-away as a record," says Tim. "The problem with an artist album where you have, say, nine high-quality but quite similar-sounding dance tracks one after another is that most people find their favorites ones, listen to them a few times, and then that's the end of that. With DJs, it's worse, it goes out of their record box after a couple of months." The answer to that problem was to experiment with as many possible styles within the parameters of electronic dance music that they could. And this they have done."

I found it funny how the first couple of sentences of the quote is relevant even today, might put things in perspective.

    The rest of the interview:

If you haven't heard their debut album, you need to look it up, it's an essential journey album.
