  1. Evan Bartholomew - Secret Entries Into Darkness
  2. It has already started to grow on me, Rio Barra is a wonderful track imo.
  3. Well it was more an act of despearation since nobody saeemed to give a fuck about this news, but the man (Magnus) deserves credit! He is playing the 19th of april in Gothenburg, sadly I don't have the economy to get there, CBL area lso attending. I was fantasizing of getting all my CBL and Solar Fields albums sigend! Damn that would ahve been so great. Also about the new album, he's two most recent productions, Small Little Green Cubes is a great kinda upliftning chill track, with the typical Solar Fields Sound though this is not really what I am hoping for in his news album. More in the style of Jeehzl another recent released track from him that is more like something that could have been seen on Leaving Home. Really interesting, it's very hard to try and figure how it's gonna sound. More a journey as Leaving Home or just soma still floating around space as in Extended, or perhaps will he go back even to his earlier sounds with some upbeat? That I hope not. and btw Nemo! WHAT THE FUCK is wrong with the servers? half of the day I can't post or even load the page other half it works fine, been like this for several days now..
  4. Krill.Minima - Nautica yes Abasio and Exotic you were right this is a great album, just needed some time to realize it..
  5. That's great news Melan! This really made my day! :posford:
  6. So this might be a little bit early to post now, but I spoke to Magnus and he has stated that he is working on a new ambient album. And that hopefully it will be done later this year. So God willing we might have the honor to expereince anotehr great album from Solar Fields this year. I must admit that I am a little bit afraid. I truly love Extended and Leaving Home. And as I feel it, Leaving Home might just be the peak of Magnuses careér. I know I wil enjoy this new album, but as always, I want to be struck, schocked and left without words like I was on Leaving Home. That might be too much to ask. And I think I wil go on this one with expectatins on just a great chill album. And with that in mind noone will be disappointed. Feel free to discuss. I was planning on making an "official Magnus Birgersson appreciation thread" but that will have to wait.
  7. I do say in my statement that it's still a great album. Also I can agree with you on the more mature touch, I also got that feel. Yes I do like it different aswell, I never feel as artists should try to make the same sound album after album. But I just wanted to clarify for people having hopes of something like Spontaneous that it's not gonna happen.
  8. Ok so my patience ran out and I downloaded this album since it never seems to arrive in my mailbox. After 2 listens I cans ay to all of you who thinks they have gone back to something more like their old sound will be greatly disappointed. If Golden Cap tried to do something different this is even one step further in that direction. I don't know what to think about this album, sometimes it's very psychedelic other times not at all. Sometimes it sounds almost as lounge music, and I come to think of the Mar.Y Tierra compilations. There are indeed very good tracks and also som lesser good, still it's obviously a great album. And I need yet to have more listens before I can do any final judgment. But what I can do is for all you people having you're hopes way up high after all the positive feedback plz try to take it down a bit. It's not nearly as good as people are saying here. Maybe bcs that why I haven't gotten into it yet but it's always better not having so high expectations, one thing is for sure it cannot match what they did in their 2 first albums.
  9. Freaked Frequency - FF Syndrome love this album, truly great psytrance or fullon if you wanna call it that. One of the best uptempo albums I've heard for a very long time yes indeed. And the last track, landing, somewhat reminds me of Tubular Bells II for some reason...
  10. I didn't find it special or anything at first, but last night I was listening through you're album and I must say I really liked it. Great stuff, need to listen some more though and see if I need to get my hands on one of them limited copy's. I felt it was rather complex but not as much psymusic released nowdays that are just a bunch of sound to make it sound complex, it was easy to follow in you're tracks though it never became dull imo.
  11. Full Moon Fashions - Nocturnes
  12. yeah they sometimes take my beloved mushrooms, that is..they don't understand the magnitude of such an action.. btw, is that you in the avatar?
  13. A I see it there are no "tracks" on leaving home, it's a journey and some tracks build up for 5 minutes slowly slowly. I can definitely understand people finding it boring, but I don't think they are trying hard enough while listening. It's a journey through life in 80 minutes! :posford: And ofc it helps trippin to it
  14. They are beauties allright.
  15. Great album though I think track 4 is already figuring on some of his other cd's? I strongly recommend this.
  16. Solar Fields - Leaving Home is to me the most groundbreaking musical composition ever made! In my subjective view ofc, so look no further!
  17. Ye I really can't get into infinite garden, not my kind of music at all. Can't enjoy listening to it..
  18. Xenomrph - Demagoguery of the bla
  19. Well spoken my dear padawan
  20. Ooops, I accidentally ordered
  21. Omg this calls for immediate action, any umbers on copys printed? gotta love the album art! strange, psyhop has this but they don't have Spiral Empire?!
