  1. I havn´t listneed to it for a long while, must give it a try again but as far as I remember Delta Aquarids sounds more natural, more genric to me, I don´t like when the psyartists add too many sounds and vocals because you can´t focus on the melody and basslayers so much. I don´t like it too simple but I either don´t like it with too many vocals and fx samples but I don´t remember how it aktually was.

Then try to listen to it again, 'cause I don't remember almost any vocals in VR. And the melodies are all extremely well listenable (The Furnace and Space Clinic just to name a few).

    ;)

  2. i've missed the whole 90's, both party and music-wise...

I'll see if i can get it, but my expectations are low...Pure goatrance isn't really my cup of tea...

What's interesting with Delta Aquarids is that it does not sound like the typical Goa sound. There is a lot of variety throughout the album. There is Goa of course but also other atmospheric tracks. A very varied (Goa-wise) album. And a great one too ;) .
  3. Hi. I dont even try to listen to new psytrance i dont ever find anything worth listening. (except i love filteria)

Anyways does anyone know of nice GOA that is similar to Prana? i came across a few prana tracks and they are absolutely awesome. I especially love the track 'kiba'. it seems the older the goa the more i like it :/ . I also like hallucinogen, astral projection etc. nice melodies with an ambientish feel - i think

i also would apreciate it if anyone could tell me of like new goa such as filteria? or is that about it

hmm wait come to think of it there might be a kind of rave factor in older goa that i like. or im not sure what it is

"Melodies with ambientish feeling" you mean like AP - Liquid Sun? Then I recommend Chi-AD - Virtual Spirit or Mystery Of The Yeti or Elysium - Dance For The Celestial Beings. But these are famous and you probably already know them. For less Goa feeling try Banco de Gaia - Last Train To Lhasa.

For new Goa, there are of course all the Sutrip releases :D . I don't know about new Goa that sounds like Filteria though.

  4. Wow, Jikkenteki thanks for the (dare I say it?) new album complete preview!

I can recognize your trance side of The Long Walk Home. I personally don't like that style that much, as I find it quite hard to listen to. Though, I liked the first track (the beatless part + the uptempo coming in). And I also like the second half. I found it easier to listen and it was quite amazing, energy diriving mostly.

I think I'll buy it even if I don't like all the tracks. The track at the middle was actually very very good and it is good from that point on. :)

Do you plan on some ambient stuff? I have to say it is what amazed me most in your first album.

    Good luck and thanks again.

EDIT: woooooo, the track at 52 min is just aaaaamaaazing! My favourite one so far!

  5. I am sorry, I have absolutely no experience in any artistic visual field...

But I wanted to say that you should also post on the Artists/Labels announcement. I would like to read some info about your new album. And you can always make a link to this thread (as it is obvious more people are reading the other forum than Visual promotion).

Good luck for the album and if you make some CDs I think I'll buy it (even without listening to it first :D ).

  6. billy, your a pimp

moving on.. make me some custom ninja stars.. i will send you something back. whatdaya say?

if i cant send something back ill come to your hood and regulate for you :)

    Wooden ninja stars?
  7. This album deserves a thread in the review section. I have finally heard it.

I didn't know Metaphysic released 5 albums... for free? I only have Pyramidal Trancendence and the several better songs on Vox - Inner Polarity. What am I missing that released other than these three?

The other two are, if I'm not mistaking:

    V/A - Human Hyperactivation

Pandemonium! EP (Lost Buddha other project)

    Not heard any of those.

  8. This is not exactly a request for review. But Doof's album Let's Turn On is written vith V/A instead of Doof... Few people noticed it in the thread but perhaps (and evidently) it went unnoticed. :)

EDIT: oh and btw the first poster made a mistake. The 7th track is not Key To The Innerverse but Angelina. Isn't it?

  9. So why are you posting your votes, if you plan to change it - to add to the Moni's confusion when she'll be counting the votes?

If I change it - there's no problem since the counting is after the thread is closed

If I don't change it - then it's already done

EDIT: and btw, I meant to edit it if I hear more 2007 releases, but this list is fixed for those releases

  10. Finally :D

OK, I almost have nothing from 2007, so it will be very easy.

    1. Transwave - Backfire (yes, for me it is as if it was new).

    2. Various - Mainspring Motion

    3. Mindsphere - Inner Cyclone

    4. Younger Brother - The Last Days Of Gravity

    5. Prometheus - Corridor Of Mirrors

I hope to be able to edit it soon...

  11. I'm not really fond of the high pitched (or whatever we call this) notes at the beginning of the loops at the beginning of the track.

But the rest sounds nice +. If you work on it a little you can even put something really good!

    Keep it up.

  12. are you kidding me? that RA track has the bassline from hunab ku - phoenix and the melody reminds me of SOME FUCKING CLUB TRANCE I WOULD DOWNLOAD FROM BEATPORT

this isnt goa.. this is sellout music. i expected more from RA

WTF man its gotta be like that huh?

look up sean tyas if you like that RA sample

I think you're being too harsh. This sounds definitely not like complete Club-Trance. But I agree with you it has a Trance side. But again, we're talking about Ra here. I can hear Dimension 5 influence a little. And D5, for me, have a quite strong Trance side to their music. But everything has to be put into context, and sometimes this kind of track can be as psychedelic as a whole album filled with noises and weird sounds. If the album will have a good build-up, and will not sound the same throughout (my biggest fear), then it can make the job.

Not all Goa is Etnica also... ;) Goa is vaste and can have influence from Trance as much as Techno or Electro or Psy or whatever.

    Talking about the other tracks:

Shakta was pretty nice. The kind of psychedelia combined with melodies I rather enjoy. I hope there will be a stronger climax (or will it be a "building-up" track?) :D .

Aes Dana sounds nice. But I think I need to hear it in context again. I'm afraid it sounds a little bit "ordinary" though (or am I imagining things?)...

E-Mantra, finally :D - well, I liked the melody! It sounds promising. :)

Hope everything is going extremely well!

  13. It's actually my first encounter with the newer Solar Fields material, as I must be the only loser not to have heard the album yet

Oh no, trust me  . The only thing I heard from this mix is Prosect's track...

Thanks abasio, I hope to hear it soon. Will give me hints on what to buy next.

  14. There was this awesome quote, I don't remember who said it or who had it: "Today's Psytrance is not Psytrance. I hate today's Psytrance. I love powerful psychedelic Goa Trance". I don't know if this was the exact sentence but it sure made me LOL alot  .

OK I stop talking in moderation topic.

EDIT: as abasio pointed out, this is the 604th post. I think champagne suits the event well.
