Born in Israel at the year 1981, Itai Leven aka TuK became fascinated by music from a very young age. He studied and played numerous musical instruments while growing up, but it was at high school in 1996 when he discovered Goa-/PsyTrance that his passion for weird, energetic and beautiful electronic trance music fully bloomed into today’s existence. From that special moment it didn’t take long until he started to produce his own music. Now with years of experience in music production and DJ’ing at endless parties around, TuK is getting to become known for his sound and top quality production. Always searching for new twisted sounds, TuK's music is something you should never get bored of as TuK’s magic is in the charm and detailed perfection of the musical scores he creates. TuK’s debut album “Beyond Reality” from 2008 was released on Mind Tweakers Records (Brazil) and got great acclaim for its style and visions. And still to this day it is said to live an active life in many DJ’s CD-Wallet. After successes in several production competitions and numerous releases on both digital and physical mediums it is time to get ready and listen to more tunes from this uprising talent with pleasant flow and crisp production (With the mastering help of Sérgio Chaves who is one half of Meteor Burn from Portugal).

Recommendation: The album Laws of Nature is of course built around the notion and immense fact that our nature has certain rules of which everything on this planet has to follow. The album is full of nice and clear sounds with space in between making this a very pleasant Full-On album without feeling too chemical at all. The approach on the sounds makes it soft as a pillow yet sharp as a polished diamond. The polished sound makes for a delightful treat (Toasted crickets with sugar comes to mind ...) that is suited to be played at huge sound systems out in the open during the dusk of night on a festival in your world region. The album follows the Laws of Nature style without getting too repeated as TuK makes sure almost each track has its own very distinct story while following the self given laws of sound and perception. The album is built on beautiful feelings of well being, nice flow and fast tempos with some breaks here and there while changing the running phase several times to create some trippy experiences of where to go. It’s filled with cute computerized sounds with insected approaches without being jungle infested as this isn’t very tribal or jungle flavored at all. The flow and energy in most tracks are really pleasant and makes one want to stay inside them for a long time. It may become a little bit boring at times as it breaks and follows its own limited range of sounds and emotions. The tweaked sounds are ticklish which is a really nice effect but it fast becomes generic sounding with a lot of different approaches on how to crunch plastic and induce blow horns with snarling effects. Overall it’s a coherent album following its own distinct (yet easily being unique among its Israeli Full-On brothers) sound and does it well. Not overly complex or mind challenging, but just enough power and play to please a larger party crowd.

The most delicious part of this release (and it does manage to reflect the music inside) is the fresh album art with its red, orange, yellow, green and blue colour scheme. It's really nice and yummy and has some intricate geometrical frozen slime-web in the background that looks awfully good. The graphic design is cleverly crafted by a Sivan Koller from Argaman Creative.
