So last weekend was a KILLER start to the summer party season and I was able to listen to music in the place I feel is most "home" to psychedelic music. It moved me greatly. Unfortunately, my good friends who threw the party got into a bit of trouble with the police (THIS IS WHY YOU SHOULD VOTE AND CARE ABOUT YOUR DEMOCRATIC SOCIETY!!) and so today's show is going to be a bit of a Psychedelic-Trance-Meets-Anti-Authoritarianism type of show. Today is that magical day in our Psychedelic Trance communities (that recognize dates in the Month/Day format) where we praise to the spirit of the Goa. This is a special day for another reason too. I am actually doing my homework again, FOR THE VERY LAST TIME. My FINAL final paper. The last one. I turn it in on Monday and then I will have EARNED my Master's Degree. So, today's show will be both AWESOME and BORING as fuck-all. Watch me type words on my laptop. Watch me drink coffee. Watch me eat reheated pasta leftovers. The Friday of a 3-day weekend (for those of you lucky bastards with jobs)! And on Sunday, here in the USofA, we'll be celebrating our countries independence. You know, it was like the World Cup, only we kicked Britain's ASSES! Then after that ass kicking, well, we're dicks. Human history is riddled with horrific violence, evil, and wrongdoing. We're quite the shitty species, and honestly, I blame religion for it all. So this Sunday, while celebrating your freedom, burn a picture of the Pope or something. Take a shit on Jesus and then spend a moment in silence to mourn the lives of those killed and tortured under the name of some God. oh, and tune-in in to today's show! FABULOUS! There is still a box or two of stuff that I have never unpacked since I moved in January and I have music all over the place. The hurricane of CDs strewn about every surface in the room has made it hard to do anything in this space and the boxes serve as dangerous icebergs in the middle of the night. This is why I feel it is time to clean. I might do some cleaning on the show, I also might do the cleaning just after the show. I dunno. I really don't know what else to put up in this space though... so I am writing about cleaning... maybe you should clean too... FABULOUS!
