they played alot of old stuff and alot of new, then they went psy!!

my god have never seen anything like it, puts most artists today to shame, how its really done live, and the passion on their face. cannot describe

don't any of you guys miss their live peformance when they your way later this year.

am flying to australia just to see them again.

please please support them and buy their albums, as these guys are still at the forefront of electronic scene, and they are kiwis, makes me so proud.

have never done a review before but when this comes out, might just have to.

and i am not joking about them live, a sight to be hold, will leave you spell bound, i had people with me not even into the scene who were blown away

and the peformance was free in the street!! put on and paid for by the auckland city council!!

Paddy and Mike here with our first newsletter for 2009.

^$&%#! Can you believe it's almost May?? This year seems to be rocketing along... We hope it's been treating you as well as it has us: we have had a pleasantly cruisey start to the year, with only a handful of shows and a couple of festivals so far.

We haven't been resting on our laurels though, and are proud to announce the imminent release of Rhythm, Sound And Movement, a collection of remixes of tracks from Rude Mechanicals. Some of our favourite artists from around the world have stepped up to the challenge of tweaking the originals: Bluetech, International Observer, Simon Flower, Patch, Kerretta, Friends Electric and many more. The full track listing and release details are below.

You can check out the tunes in full at www.tinyurl.com/pbatlastfm or most of them are also up on our www.myspace.com/pitchblacknz. You can either buy the 14-track CD from one of the online stores below, or if you are one of those thoroughly modern interweb peeps who prefers a download, you can get a surgically-enhanced 20-track ultra augmented bumper edition online!!

On Monday, we will be sending you a download link via EatDigital to a special remix that is not being released anywhere else, just to say thanks for being on our mailing list.

To celebrate the new release, we are heading across to Australia in June for some shows in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, and then swiftly over to the West Coast of the USA for a handful more. All these dates are below, we'd love to see ya! We will also be heading to the UK and Europe in October, so keep an eye out for us and we'll keep you updated closer to the time.

Enjoy the tuneage, we look forward to seeing you on the dancefloor sometime soon!
