Guest Psychedelic Gav
Eat Static - Implant Artist: Eat Static Title: Implant Label: Ultimate Date: 1994 Track listing: 01. 07'44" Survivors 02. 08'25" Abnormal Interference 03. 10'04" Implant 04. 08'17" Dzhopa Dream 05. 08'02" Panspermia 06. 09'24" Area 51 (Nucleonic Mix) 07. 09'00" Cydonia 08. 10'26" Uforic Undulance Review: A very early sound and it shows - but I like it. Not so psychedelic but lovely beats, samples, this works well. Think music to get stoned to, think floating on clouds on summer days. Funky music made by super-funky people. Nothing here to make you dance uncontrollably but you?ll dance anyway if these guys have their way. I love this!!!!
Guest d.mcnair[at]dailyrecord.co[dot]u
This is my favourite album of all time for techno/trance/chilled grooves. They've always been originators of their sound but always pushing it as well. I listen to this album and it mostly sounds as fresh as it did then. Not to overly produced, subtle and really well balanced with each tune complimenting the next. I'm sure some kind of implant was sonically inserted in my brain when I first heard this as I've been a faithfull devotee to their music ever since. At their gigs, you do in fact fly away to another dimension before crashing back down to what's left on Earth. I like the extent that they use samples on this album and think that they give it a real themed quality and they're not used too much..."You put the Aliens in the middle of this stuff and you've got all the answers..." Blast this on a tasty system when you're high on mushrooms and you're in an instant zone. Eat Static for president/s!

Guest (TRIP) a.b.j.werink[at]rcondw.ru
Might be the best album ever...... One of the best experiences I ever had was listening to this album while floating around the world, somewhere, or out there, on mushrooms. Try it.... Guest esoteric
My favorite from Eat Static. If any of you were around when this album came you, you can remember that Eat Static was at the forfront of the developeing Psychedelic/Goa sound. There were very few in 94/95 that had the programming skills of Eat Static. Listen to their sound, they are one of our leaders in electronic music. No matter what they decide to produce. Guest Davidtolsn
didn't dig this very much. a few of the tracks are ok to listen to. a few of them just go nowhere. all in all, pretty boring, not too clever. i'm not a fan of eat static, though. maybe it's too experimental for me.. no beats, no melodies. 5/
yerg
I don't feel this album sound outdated at all. It's been 15 years since. A little problem with "Abduction" was that i could feel some sounds to be old and it kinda ruined the feeling but the level of psychedelia was still high. "Implant"'s sound is not so wacked - it takes a minimal path with some beautiful downtempo pieces. I liked "Survivors" the most for a driving feeling through the whole track. 8/
abasio
Implant might be nearly 20 years old but still sounds fantastic every time I hear it, it doesn't sound old and tired but more nostalgic and it really deserves to be called a classic. Great for night listening, I like it in cold seasons coming back from work.
