Wich we all know can be a little boring when to much of it is played. Even the none-gms tracks sounds GMS-ish Even tho the Synthetic tracks is too dark for GMS. I played them on nice big speakers with some other groovy music and it worked real well on me and on the audience. I think it is a great compilation. I've seen them 4 times now since 96 and not one time could I remember hardly anyone sitting down. I think these people like to buy trance for home listening or something. Trance is meant for the dance floor. That's what it is designed for and to me GMS are the best at that. Their music is full on and they have worked with the best in the industry. If they suck so much, why do so many artist like to work with them? Now for my review - This CD is loaded with talent and any song on this CD would kick your ass on the dancefloor. Guest soumyeah Posted January 3, 2002 Share Posted January 3, 2002 fuck "novelty" i just want good music. vacation time remix by nomad is the first track and i think the mummy was supposed to be released on this comp first but the cd was delayed.. spun owns the track so perhaps tip shaved some seconds off or dado reworked it a bit. anyway, great cd for the psychedelic dance floors of the world, so so for the home.. me thinks gms saved many "killers" for the next album.. But thats diferent to say minimal is good... maybe GMS sounds always the same, but it sounds GMS... minimal? all they really sounds the same... reefer, miliz, you dont know who is who... maybe we have to face it... GOA once sounds like something new and diferent.. now is all the same pure shit than any other music style.
