Bamboo Forest - Final Frontier / Discover

Artist: Bamboo Forest

Title: Final Frontier / Discover

Label: Dragonfly

Date: 2001

Track listing:

01. 08'20" Final Frontier

02. 08'39" Discover (Rmx)

Review:

This album is absolutely fantastic, and I just can't stop listening to it. Both

tracks from this awesome Dragonfly release just kill on the dancefloor, and

blow the senses. High-energy tracks done with class and style -- VERY high

quality that any audiophile can appreciate. Final Frontier has some really

aggressive/darker sounds, but somehow stays very smooth and melodic. It's just

really catchy, well produced, and pounds. Enough said, 9.5/10. As for Discover

[Remix], it's a little bit darker, but carries the same BPM as side A. It's so

hard to describe specific sounds in this track, but nothing offended me and I

enjoy all the effects/sounds used in this EP. Very unique: not your typical

303 pumping out the "melodies". Dark and twisted melodies surface around 2:55,

which uses a phasor/photon sounding effect, and it's very cool. Overall, great

track as well 9/10. The thing I like most about these tracks is they're not

overly complicated, and there never seems to be too few or too many layers of

sound... just right. This is a great release, and I'll won_t hesitate to throw

either of these tracks in a set to get the dancefloor moving! Awesome!

Contat Dragonfly to get the release. They'll tell you which distributors can

get the music to your area. Both these tracks kick ass... as kind of an

update, I've liberally included these tracks in my sets, and wow... everyone

gets so pumped, and I love hearing them in my phones and from the monitor 8^)

And yet we found no evidence, it is possible this vinyl exists as there are the tracks and some vinyl rips of them, maybe it was BFLT 79, but we cannot find this man who wrote the review, and no one else seems to care to answer :)
