Prisoners Of The Sun : Klangwelt Review: Flow records really impresses me with thier new upcoming releases. Most of thier releases have booming and banging tracks all very playable in the night. This one opens with a great one by Spin. Some very nice percusion/breaks on this one just progressing all along with a groovy feel and a nice subtle driving bassline. The fourth track by the X.V. Killist is just minimalistically crazy. These guys use a lot of nice percussion and crazy sounds to really progresse your set. Magus track is way crazy like most his releases. The sixth track by Fabel has a great sample, Throughout the track it has a kissing sound. This CD is great. Highlights being Spin, X.V. freak51 Posted May 6, 2001 Share Posted May 6, 2001 I thought this was pretty typical stuff. If you're leaning towards picking up some minimal for the first time, this is an adequate taster. If you've already got MOS/Spirallianz/Midimiliz then you don't really need this. Oh - I'd be remiss if I didn't note that the Human Blue track is gorgeous. I know they're both european but as far as other similarities i'm lost.One is deep chugging psy tech and the other is non melodic minimal trance.
