Redivider (Rmx) Review: This is one of those EP's that I bought just because I tend to like everything this artist produces, even though it didn't sound that convincing when I first listened to it in the shop. And yes, it took me quite a while to fully appreciate it, but now I do I'm glad I bought it. The first track "Creeping Gravity" is pretty different from the usual Chi AD-style, it's a night time guitar stormer. I personally don't think the guitars in it are all that earth-trembling, but it is a nice track anyway with a dirty/grungy feel to it and some mindbending old school melodies. The tracks on the flip side are more morning orientated, "Pathfinder 2000 A.D." being my favourite track on this EP. This track is a really unique one, one of the most beautiful and mysterious tunes I know. It has some dreamy female vocal snippets and a catchy, nevertheless very original melody that totally alienates me in a most pleasant way. "Redivider (Remix)" is a bouncy track filled with acid squelches and spacy sounds, and it is actually one of the few tracks in which i can enjoy male vocals. Mergi Posted April 3, 2002 Share Posted April 3, 2002 Creeping gravity is a very interesting track... psy and sort of sofisticated in the effects, just can't get enough of the melody entering the track in the middle... Pathfinder 2000 AD is good, but not as good as the original one, it still has that wicked goa feel to it. I don't have this EP so rating it will be impossible, but I sure would get it if I find it...
