Name: Laurent Jreijiri Date of birth: 17 05 1979 Location: Paris, France Style: Full on psychedelic Musical journey: Born in Saudi Arabia in 1979, holder of the Lebanese nationality. So far he has lived Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Great Britain, Spain and for now he's based in Paris, France. He started listening to techno in 1993 through projects such as Prodigy and the Chemical Brothers. And then step by step he got closer to Jungle and Drum & Bass, went to a few festivals and discovered psychedelic trance there very early. Then together with his Lebanese crew he decided to raise the Middle East trance scene so they set up the Beirut Underground (Bug System) project. With this project they aimed to promote the trance, jungle and techno scene in Lebanon. But, with time, they became some real psyhead freaks. Especially after Sola Luna 2001 which was definitly a revelation for them. It made them realize how much psychedelic means peace, love, unity and respect. Kaa also has another project which is more based on graphics and related to projections. This project is called Visual Suspects. Because in his opinion music and images are deeply related and he considers that one could not exist without the other. Since 2004 he is focusing to put all his energy into Transient Records and promoting the French psytrance scene in the world.
