It seems like a complete crisscross of labels helping each other out ... and I know my history is kinda weak on the israeli scene... who took over who, who is an imprint of who, etc.? Guest H.E.Pennypacker Posted April 2, 2002 Share Posted April 2, 2002 Well once upon a time, there was an israely label called Trust in Trance. together with phonokol,it's distributer,it ruled the planet of israel. along came another label,called KREMBO,which joined the scene and brought a nice diversion from the MFG/Astral releases. another landmark was MELODIA records with its TRANCE MIX seires. Then,Hom-Mega enetered the picture and joined Phonocol in the race for dominance,while in the background a new breed of power was born in the name of Infected Mushroom,signed for 3 albums at BNE. The days have passed,many labels have gone bye-bye,Krembo's days of glory faded into the label USTA,Trust in Trance have lost the trust of the people,and lately another revolution has occured: Hom-Mega has left Phonokol(which got USTA instead)and moved to BNE- which now is a powerhouse of trance,representing all the leading names of israely psy(Infected,Spacecat,Oforia,Xerox,Astrix,Cosma and the list igoes on). thats it for tonight, join us next week for THE FUTURE of Israely Trance Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
