I didn't like it enough.
Examples of true masterpieces, IMO:
Shpongle - Are You Shpongled?
Ulver - Lyckantropen Themes
Tool - Lateralus
Mystery Of The Yeti - S/T
Chicane - Far From The Maddening Crowds & Behind The Sun
BT - ESCM
and so on.

As in, no "good" CDs. Nothing to get me even more material possessions I never use.
This has the added consequence that I'm weeding out everything that doesn't classify as a masterpiece from my collection - and that's about 90%.
Including ifo, green nuns, rainbirds etc. Once I'm getting back to Sale/Trade those all go.
Anyway. Isn't it a good idea to only keep physical copies of the very best ones? Yes, I know it is.
-
Astral Projection - Dancing Galaxy probably.
Whatever the case, not any of the ones you people have mentioned. :3

Lifeforms & Ephidrina are the best.
Also, whoever said Orbital weren't as good - The Girl With The Sun In Her Hair, Halcyon & On & On, Remind, Lush 3-1, etc.

I had huge expectations of this. Alas, it's mediocre. BT focuses so much on the technical aspects that he forgets the emotional one.
-
I actually like the Insomnia one. It's very tongue-in-cheek.
-
Hm hm.
All my experiences here have been good. Except some people forgetting to mention that the discs have been raped by little rabbits repeatedly and are almost cracking naturally.
Otherwise good. Hope I can continue this trend once I'm allowed back in sale/trade.

Lyckantropen Themes is actually rather nice.
Sounds very nocturnal and calm.

While trance has a hard time telling stories, not having any lyrics, it sometimes manages to. I'm looking for a lycanthropic or just primal theme to them.
For what more beautiful that leaving thought and humanity behind?
Know any?

He said he is an interview a while ago, but that he works very, very slowly.

btw. Psychaos wins.

Psynina fails in both categories.

Track in case: Astral Projection - Utopia
So I walk my daily trek through college territory as usual. Music idly playing, headphones tightly on ears to avoid hearing the nerve-grating babble of all the people there, gaze on road to avoid seeing them either, which I also experience as nerve-grating.
So, I'm not really paying any attention to the music at all. The previous track was The Feelings of the same disk, but while very decent it didn't have any effect.
I didn't even notice when the track changed in my grey workday-haze. But then suddenly the track rises to a peak. You know, that acid-ish climax there.
(yay now some retard bald arse is sitting besides me talking loud as fuck, but I'm going to carry on describing)
Yeah. So the climax. All of a sudden, my eyes go wide. All the fucking lines blend together, revealing a bigger image. Think those 3d-eye images. Stereoscopic things. Goa, apparently, is like that. By shifting your focus you hear the whole image. Every part of it makes sense. I get "how" it describes some utopia. I get what the music means.
And poof, then the moment is gone. The track is normal again when I focus on it. But for a moment I was really into it.

Sexy producers can put themselves on the cover IMO. <.< The rest, nah.
Also, sorry for the lack of remakes of that one, but... too busy.
-
-
I would do remakes but they'd be offtopic (not music discussion) which I'm not allowed to
So I'll just note that it really is horrible.

Check this out: VA - No Possible Soundz released @ 6D-Soundz and Salakavala - Fractal Fishing @ Faerie Dragon
They all have got mikseri.net accounts, they were all released @ Antiscarp before, but listen to it! Much better production, better distribution, they'll get more attention. Free is not bad, but your statement is wrong.
Commercial CERTAINLY isn't better either. I can settle for "as good".

well AVP[aavepoyra](spelling??)] have released 2 albums, in 2005 & 2006..
but generally yes..
AVP
Nanoportation
Intriga
great music
of the above i think only AVP have got 2 albums released... Goddess Guerilla and Electro Fluoro Punx..
I have 2 promo albums from Troll Scientists.. nice music, not exactly goa maybe some goa elements now and then.
Yes, exactly those two. The ones I thought of. Intriga especially.

I dont know what the situation is for "goa" music, because I dont buy nor do I download any of that music. For the more techy trance scene (also called progressive) I think that the stuff you can buy has a lot better quality than the netstuff that I find. There are som stars out there though, that are really kickin ass!
Yeah, but they aren't the kind of free hippie music that goa is supposed to be, either.
What Album Defines GOA for you?

No, the :3 smiley means it was a tongue-in-cheek statement, possibly to the time where I actually did that.
