  1. One more thing... does anyone know some tracks that are in quintuplets (beat divided 5) ? Any electronic music like that?
  2. Ok thanks PsyKick............. but for some reason... when people are talking triplet psytrance tracks they always say 3/4....... (well ok the reason is because there is number 3 in it.. ). I think that has confused me too...... but now i know... thanks.
  3. Perro Andaluz, Soliptic and PsyKick... ..is 5/4 same as quintuplets? ..and is 3/4 same as triplets? Doesn't Horrorgram start with 3/4 and then slowly "slide" to 4/4?
  4. Yeah... that studio is also really Whoa Whoa!! I'd love to have place like that where you could try to learn to play some real instruments whenever you feel like it... Those samples sounds promising... how about putting one whole track with better sound quality up to that site?
  5. There's a guitar part that sounds very much some song of Sting (or The Police... in whitch Sting used to play).
  6. "....but it just doesn't fit there previous scheme..." Hehe.. actually there are brains in the previous album cover... ;P But anyway... I don't see any reason that the scheme should stay the same from album to album... infact that's something I wouldn't want... I like changes and think it's good that artist are experimenting...... that's how new and interesting things happen. I also agree with Joe that it's nice to see something else inside this scene.
  7. And here's a site that might help with chords and scales http://looknohands.com/chordhouse/piano

  11. Happy melodies (major?) are usually cheesy, samples from movies are most of the times cheesy... it also depends how they are used, long 16th note snare rolls that goes from quiet to loud are cheesy, Open hihat patterns that goes through a whole track between kick drums... you know... boom tsss boom tsss... are cheesy, too much reverb is cheesy........ there is more but I'll stop now. There are meny tracks that have cheesy elements but I ignore them if there is something else that I like. And sometimes I just surrender to the Power of Cheese... lol... IMHO.

  20. Psyfi... well maybe I should have written there that some of those are hard to get. But I think it's good for him to at least know some classic albums if he happens to run into them in some record store with used CDs or ebay........ or maybe he wants to download and see if he even likes them.
