Not a band but a guy in a few of them......
What about Mark Allen?? He was part of many good projects in the late 90s apart from his marvellous djing......
Mark Allen DJd in Greece recently (2009) but that's all I know.
Grant Collins (Darshan) has a new project with James Munroe, called 4Digital Audio. It's an online record label. He's not making any psy as such these days (although he did one with Hopi as you saw) but as far as I know he is concentrating on the Excession and 4D acts.

I had the privilege of hearing one of the album tunes just fresh off Colin's lab last weekend and blew my socks off, a rare mixture of genius and awesome. Haven't ever heard any goa so well produced and arranged, period. Can't wait for the album.
Luis? Alright mate, I didn't know you were on here!
BTW the track that inspired my and BlackStarrFinale's comments was track 2 - 'Controlled'. 'kinell.

I haven't got halfway through mastering the album yet but having done all their releases, I already feel this is the best thing Cronomi have released so far. Atmospheric, compulsive, flowing Goa Trance, self-indulgent in all the right places yet held back at times for periods of pure bulding trance. Mushroom music of the first order. It makes me feel the same way as the best of the old-school artists made me feel 12 years ago, a certain nameless edge of intent to the intensity of the music - not dark but definitely not something to be trifled with - that is most definitely driving the force of the music towards... something... Artha captures that perfectly for me, personally.
The production is also shit hot.

Hey Alexander!
Not castrated, but it still won't be having any more kids. No, just wanted to say hi and happy holydays.
Where's Offtopic? Seems like Psynews is castrated now, ehm?

Nice first post, a lot more subtle than the Skazi promo threads we've been seeing around lately. Reminds me, we need to get OOOD's street team sorted out too

Merry Psynews, Christmas!
Lost my xmas hat avatar...

Not quite as nonsensical as you might think...I get a kick out of the sheer number of psytrance artist names that are some made up of nonsensical rhyming words or singsong couplets... Yab Yum...

It's not a spambot, the same thing was posted on Psymusic recently and various people have been having a conversation with the poster.

Tell you what, that gap in her front teeth does WONDERS for her blowjob technique. What do you think of this couple:
National Enquirer headline:
"After a fruitful collaboration with William Orbit, Madonna has decided to pursue
another electronic music maestro, this time it's Colin Bennun also known as DJ OOOD.
Sources say the two have been romantically linked and have spent the weekend at her mansion in Los Angeles.
Apparently, Madonna has been heard calling Colin to come to bed, while he was wondering around
her label's studio in the South wing of the building, checking out the gear and room acoustics while showing little interest in sex.
It's unclear what sort of daft 'hard to get' game DJ OOOD is playing, but Madonna seems to
be getting more and more turned on by it. She's even agreed to stop singing on the songs he
produces for her new album......as long as he comes to bed"

Way to go Colin

She and her sister have been going to parties in the UK for years...

Dirty dirty fucked-up music; a little cheesy for regular rotation here, but there are a few tunes I'd play and it's all pretty good for it's style. I've just mastered his latest album, a Japan-only release called Unstoppable, on Farm Records.

Apart from the Hardfloor track I'm always banging on about, the first trance track I remember distinctly is this; heard it on the same day I first met Steve OOOD in 1994.Empirion -

Feel free to lock this for being offtopic

Neil was their keyboard player, not their bassist, as far as I knowIf GNNs return I would DEFINITELY look for that bassline (it's said it came from the Brand New Heavies' bassist).

Check out tracks like Eye of the Beholder and Rock My Soul and Blue Seal and Marijuajuana off our Free Range album, and maybe Hornrider off our Fourthought album... maybe something there will tweak you.
