Certainly frikken changed mine.

Thanks Oopie! 'How' = modified TB303 with CV inputs, sequenced from Cubase. The main riff is actually played on one note - the melody comes from the filter picking out different harmonics from that one note. The deeper 'how' = inspiration from Underworld - Rez and a reasonable amount of LSD.perhaps a bit OT but...
your track "rifa" is splendid. how is such acid line even possible?
wish you (or anyone!) made more 303 filled trax like that
Back on topic...
Thanks Antic, I'm well chuffed. Unfortunately it doesn't count as I made you say it!
-
No, please, tell us ! I really want to know.
hahahahahahano. Not for me to say, I'm far far far too biassed... however if someone else mentions it then I'll be well chuffed!

I'd post on this thread if I didn't think everyone would jump down my throat for naming one of my own tunes.

Ok mate, last time I'm changing it, there's only so much effort I can put into just keeping you happy. Hope this avatar is more palatable to you.Jesus, that's even worse and how I imagine Reznik looks on his beloved speed.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure.say what?
Sorry Charlie, hope that's better now.

Did you know that Grant doesn't actually own a copy of Awakening himself?

It's always worked very well for me, Rewiring Reason in to SX. The last track we did like this had over 50 Rewire channels active, as I recall.Drew, of course you have problems with rewireing, I also had problems with rewirering to cubase, simply cause it sucks..

Billy... you're awesome. And what you do is awesome too. Just keep doing all this stuff, one day it will pay off. It just can't not.

I reverse-engineered the Dr. Octopus 303 line once, on a real 303. Most satisfying; it was my favourite track at the time.

If you really want to convert someone to goa, I suggest a blotter and Hallucinogen: Twisted.hehehehehehe i know.. she said shes willing to get high with me so that might be my avenue.. oh she will like a box of brownies more then me.. im thinking the brownies will prevail.

Always nice to hear people still remember those tracks, we were particularly pleased with them ourselves, as it goes!
http://www.toonhound.com/bluecat.htmColin, I'm still wondering where those samples in "Syncronity Converger" are from. Haven't found them in full_on's sample database either. Now after a decade, care to spill the beans?
All the samples are spoken by Dougal:
"Perhaps I'm dreaming? hehehe/Well I never!/Well the next thing that happened was... a noise"
"Out of this world"
"I'm not easily frightened, but this... cor!"
"Then I heard something else..."
"Perhaps I'm dreaming? hehehe"
There are also some samples from a CD lent to us by a friend who was working for a Formula 1 racing team, recorded by the team at the trackside during a race.

ABL2 is good for straight 303 effects. Phoscyon is a virtual Devilfish modded-303 so has more range for tweaking and covers a slightly different section of the TB303 sonic landscape - you can get classic 303 sounds out of it that you will not get from ABL2. Neither offer a complete emulation but both are very good for different aspects of 303 riffage.
To distort the 303 in the old days I used to turn the gain up full on the 303's mixer channel.

Hehe glad you appreciated the subtlety and thought it was nice Better nice and subtle than... um... some of the self-promotion I've posted on here in the past :drama:

You probably know this already but www.flyingrhino.co.uk is live...

Only joking...

Lazy fucker.
It's shite.

The ASR-10 has polyphonic aftertouch
And the A-80 is a fine keyboard.. synth action I believe, to the A-90's weighted keys, but still really playable. Don't think it does the poly aftertouch though.

Nice kit there - you're a Roland freak eh?
The Mackies will do you proud I reckon, especially at that price. Make sure they're 100% working though before you pay.

Analogic/Bionic delay with feedback over 50, but BE CAREFUL!
Sticking RVox on the delay return can help keep levels up with lower feedback amounts too.
