I like that AirNaN cover.
It ain't bad.

Discogs includes the dubious claim that Ott is his real name, but also lists Grover Smith as an alias, which sounds plausible.
So OTT isn't after Jonathan Ott? - thats what I always suspected.
-

Here's some new material by the sounds of it. This sounds really, really good, fits with "the great side" of Ott, and should be mindboggling.
I got to see Ott Live in Austin Texas. Was a great show. This sounds almost better than blumenkraft! This is incredible. I thought skylon was kind of ho hum in comparion But it's by no means BAD music it's still OTT which is amazing always.
I did a mix using some of his tracks:
Really enjoyed mixing this.
I never knew OTT was involved in Hallucinogen in Dub. That album is timeless.
BTW Dunky, your Avatar is flat out hilarious.

Yea that goasia video is incredible. I would want to be there. Such good music and visuals - lights synch with the snare buildups... wondrous.
-
I actually think this one looks fantastic! Very surreal and yet goofy comic and cosmic. Totally psychedelic.
Oh wow!
Lol i knew I'd find this one here. Reminds me of other album covers.
LOL freaky hippies.
Corny week?
Lol. The babes on the cover are hard to not make corny.
What does "IN LAK ECH" mean BTW anyone know? Isn't it Mayan for something to do with 2012?
-
Ok, this should be pretty easy. Was fun to think about what I would do browsing through my music library though!
Wow... that is a genius... I guess I never noticed that before.

The whole NOMA's Navigator album. Powerful basslines.
Yea Noma does it well. Minimal... really emphasizes the baseline... I think their best baseline was in Spasm... on Irresistible Meltdown... http://www.discogs.com/Various-Irresistible-Meltdown/release/103627

I would say twilight would be not so dark. Still some melodies and maybe a bit spooky. You would play it during twilight hours - thus you would still have time to go - I don't think you would launch too quickly into darker sounds if you have good taste and DJ skills. I would say this album is somewhat in that area perhaps a bit darker than twilight - - i'd put this album a couple hours after the twilight - but from the samples i'd probably not play much but track 3... =/

Yes he used to be ... much more psychedelic ... I think the melodic stuff he did was not as dark as the work he does now - and were defiantly MORE psychedelic than what he is doing now.
In fact I've only heard one of his earlier tracks. I thought it so amazing I never forgot it. But then he released his albums, and they were all dark. I do enjoy them - but they are not up to the level of what he was doing before. Don't get me wrong - Made of Clay is a great album - so is Speaker seeker, but not the psychedelic potency of what was before.

This album is incredible.

This is so SSSTUUUUUPID and at the same time so FUUUUUNNNNNNY. LOL
This is poor. It's either misogyny, misandry or both. Offensive. And for psy-trance? a shame.
-
yek... obviously some kind of statement... the world has got some major daddy issues... (at least western civilization)
yes... but keep it out of the psy-scene...
but then we got Yahel's brilliant cover:
Misandry, emasculation, castration... MMK... got enough of that already thx...

3. I hated that they felt the need to explain everything, every step of the way. It was all pretty simple to understand and there was no need to make it any more obvious to the viewer.
But then after explaining everything they did the twist at the end by not showing that the coin fell. Some people took that element way too seriously saying: OH MY GOD YOU JUST CAN'T KNOW IF THEY ARE STILL DREAMING OR NOT. I'm like wow it' doesn't matter the movie is over nonetheless. It seemed a pretty simple plot line to me I saw no cliffhanger; coin or no.
Some ambiguities: I frankly still didn't quite get the scene of the old guy talking the Leo's character at the end.
Pretty good movie... I'm not sure it should be compared with the matrix.
Apparently there is supposed to be in the making another matrix... I wonder how that will turn out...

Brain scientist Jill Bolte Taylor once had a stroke, and during that episode she had an amazing experience. I think that many of you will find that here experience was very similar to the psychedelic experience. She did however recover from the stroke and being a brain scientist she pondered about her experience. In the video below she explains the experience:
Jill Bolte Taylor's Stroke of Insight
Please, moderators, this video is something of the ordinary and probably of interest to many, so don't move it to off-topic.
I thought Off-topic was gone...

Science of Ecstasy was ecstatic.
-
That looks really eurotrance.
-
Alienated Buddha was incredible...

Just got Ishq Sama
Seems to me the best work was done on Orchid and Magic Square of the Sun and Timelapse in Mercury.
I've only bought Orchid and Sama... however. Sama has yet to grow on me. Where as Orchid Timelapse and Magic Square were immediate immersions into new experiences of sound.

I really love this man. What a beauty.
-
I at first didn't like it but - but when Insector released the album Rebirth
I decided to make a mix with those tracks... including other artists as well.
I actually really enjoy it now if it's well done...
That mix is up on my podcast page it's my latest one it's about 165 BPM:
I call it fight or flight because the speed of the music somewhat evokes a fight or flight response lol:
