Good for you! I'm thinking about it once in a while - not necessarily selling what I have, just switch to buying digital only - but it's so hard for me to cut the ties. Which is stupid, because nowadays I very rarely even unwrap the CDs since I get the files along with the purchase in most cases. What bothers me with digital is fragmentation, i.e. the fact that there's no single place where I can purchase everything, maintain my collection, stream it, download and re-download if something was to happen with my hard drive, etc. Google Play probably come the closest - there's lots of goa/psy, especially old-school - and it gives an option of subscribing (a'la Spotify) rather than purchasing every single thing and the prices of single album are usually 1/2 or less of physical release, which is rarely the case in other places:

yea , far as i know joske has massive CD collection hes old skool DJ and thats fucking cool he plays with actually original fucking copies! As for Fabien i know he sold some music even jean michel jarre... depends of whats going in your life i know he has his wife , child and stuff which is very nice so maybe he felt he had to let go of certain things... same here you know , you become a parent and its choices in life but that doesnt mean you have to completely let go off your identity in a way if you get me. That's all i can say about them at least far as i know them they are good people.

yea i agree , two days ago ive been spring cleaning the place and getting rid of unused shit i dont wanna become a fucking horder, seen programs about that and unfortunatly my father in law has that problem but im not gonna go talk deeper in that... i know sometimes its hard to let go of certain memories n shit.. but its not easy to deal with its psychological... and have to be strong and ya gotta make choices , there are many factors , in my father in law case he lost his wife (my mother in law died of cancer god bless her soul) years ago and maybe he tended to try and keep himself happy n shit or trying to replace i dont know i dont want to analyse peoples minds because im not right person im a musician not a psychiatrist and best is psychiatrist people to help... that is if they want to be helped. from what i know from him he's an hard old fucker like. in my case im really happy to finally get the help i needed and thank many people here for telling me off which i never believed i needed it but fuck it anyways you know . i wanna keep my mind in a good place and the more positive the better . as i said i had enough of the 'real world' bullshit fuck all that
as for plastic im thankful for digital in this case i got enough cds as it is , i keep those that im really into it and still might give them a spin altho im a music goa producer aswel. but also got tons of stuff on pc which saves a lot of room and space which im glad , thats a good side of digital and i think thats whats going on nowadays and thats why i dont bother releasing cds or anything.. sure i have cassette player and recorder , bought cassettes from ebay friends for nice price which most people are chancers selling one cassete for 25 pounds its like fuck offfff matee seriously... i know its vintage but fuck!
I intend to use it in my studio music aswel but thats because im affectionated to the analogue sound but thats only for me was choice i made and i love it.
to Antic : google play seems nice altho i have no idea how to work on it except how to download from google drive lol but its not a bad idea ... bandcamp always wins im very familiar with it and it hasnt changed much at all which i appreciate a lot . you familirize yourself with something you know thats really good ... the fuckups are when they chang everything , layouts etc and you are like i wanna do this and it was there da fuck is it now? that sort of shit pisses me off bro if you get me. but sure i like the clean look of that google stuff . its better than itunes and all that middleman shyte you know.. i have no idea about the prices on google play store but i like playstore , has nice free softwares n stuff...
maybe with some help i would infiltrate my music in it somehow but ... but in other hand its ok for me as it bandcamp , people downloading , sharing like old times thats me just ... its all good im happy as it is . im not worried or trying to go 'big' or anything i just want people to love the music as much i want to love it too myself and thats pretty much it for now. -

TAL has a dedicated SH-101 emulation (not free but pretty cheap). I can't say how close it is to the real thing, but it's got pretty squelchy filter, should be good for oldschool acid.
its very very very close to the real thing ,
theres freebies there i think even the juno free vst can throw some real good sounds.
listen to it yourself its fucking brilliant! think he had to change name because roland was trying to... you know , fuck him up looooooooooooooool thats how good it is honest!
listen and judge yourself , imo vst is a bit sharper which is much better , but sure analogue is good too loooooooooooll its a dillemma but its impressive
but no matter what i havent got space room or cash for that vintage shit but i can seriously pull old skool shit on that vst... encens acid from dialogue record just that same sound i did it ... was really fuckin happy looooool.. welll , enjoy.theres real comparision with the real juno vs the plugin and theres no difference at all in sound its fucking brill

i always and strongly suggest dont rely on streaming mate , make sure you download yourself a copy and WAV specially! <3 best advice i can give you thats what i do but i aint deleting anything at all and bandcamp im happy they are doing well

edit : forgot to say the streaming in bandcamp is shitty mp3 128kpbs so... man thats pretty much it , i like full quality , mp3 is just good for a quick preview n shit ... i like high quality always specially in what concerns my music
download Alac , Flac if you dont want that big but you always lose some quality in those cases but its pretty close . I go Wave which is the best i like my records in Studio quality even for a future listening and stuff and one day if i want to release again i got the wav files .. keep it safe in a way you know . lots of backups i make , many lessons i learn in past losing files n stuff... sure its a bit of a mess takes me time to dig them shits again but man its worth it and i love to keep it clean .
