  1. Very trancey. Great goa elements that sound dated but that's because it is, regardless this is great. I didn't listen to the whole thing, but I heard enough to know I will be listening to the whole thing tonight. Thanks!!!!!!

I know I would like you to do more mixes if that means anything :)

  2. Very cool! It's very nice to see someone training hard, congrats and I am sure your friends are happy when u go clubbing with them, no worries about any possible fight as clearly you'll win in all cases.

Thanks for those kind words. Every DAT Records disc I own is quality. The thought, craftmanship, passion, presentation, and last but not least the love that goes into what you do makes you a credible source so I thank you for the compliment about my skills.

Truth be told, those videos are 30% of my ability. I trained with the 82nd division airborne rangers.. you could not be more correct.. no matter the scenario, victory is achieved

Yes, my cousin and her husband especially love the fact I can be the designated safe driver because I stay ready, and Also they are free to get so wrecked and enjoy themselves without a worry. I take care of my family and friends. I'll never seek a fight, in fact lately I despise fighting, but love the art. I've hurt so many people along the way breaking ribs, noses, arms, giving them stitches I have no desire to fight, only defend. It's old and I won. Locally people still call me the champ.

That's why I also can't understand people who get their gear stolen or not paid properly for a gig. SMH

anyways do you have any interest in martial arts? Does anyone? I think I saw a dude with a super saiyan avatar..

  3. Thanks everyone, I'm very happy to see that kind of discussion actually!Yeah, making a "generic goa" was a part of the task I've set to myself, I'm a (semi)amateur full-on producer, but I was somehow drawn into goa (thanks psynews) and decided to try if I can make smth in that vein myself. So, if people perceive this as goa and even like the melodies, it wasn't a completely useless try ;) If/when I'll be making a full track of it, I'll surely try to give it my own twists.Meanwhile, I want to ask for some listening suggestions. I don't like the kind of goa with chaotic melodies, overly agressive acid lines and ultraloud kicks which seems to be popular now, but i like Mindsphere - Presence, latest Ra (wasn't exactly mad about it at first but it really grew on me), everything by Khetzal and Skarma I've heard, J.I.S. and truly and deeply love most tracks made by AP. So pelase more music of this kind ( I guess I should look for 90's goa rather than newschool?)

    MFG - the prophecy

MFG - New kind of world

    Asia 2001 - live

    Asia 2001 - psychedelia

Blue planet corporation - Blue planet

    Total eclipse - violent relaxation

Give those some spins and see if it gets your wheels turning. :)

  4. So, 14th of august 2016... my birthday AND the highpoint of my musical career as I played a 2.5 hours set in the Dance Temple on Boom that day! :) I presented my definition of goa-trance to a huge crowd of which many never heard pure goa before! (tracklist below) :) I hope I managed to persuade many that this music is something... special and amazing! Enjoy!

Sorry for the long wait, it took me a long time to re-record it, but here it is finally! Mixed with 2 CDJ1000s, and only original cds! :)

There are also 2 post scripta concerning this set!

    - Here it is only 2h 20 minutes, that is because the "bis" number was Aes Dana vs Asura - Elie! :) That made the set exactly 2h 30 minutes! :)

    - The other thing, on Boom, I took the wrong Etnica cd (CD2 instead of 1) so Vimana was not played by me, instead I ended my set with Children of Stones by Hunab Ku ! :) Here, the original plan was done ;)

First off happy birthday. Pretty soon your hands will be so old and decrepit you might not even be able to dj. Not I'm jk, you look well and like you are healthy and taking care of yourself. I hope you are happy and you are setting some big goals for yourself and suntrip in 2017. Take that highlight, that pinnacle.. elevate it farther.

Loved listening to this, but my personal application for a Goa mix is to workout. Workout.. for the 24th straight year of my life.. workout. So thanks for the mix and getting me through another workout.

Now have you ever heard of a tradition called birthday punches?

  5. Awesome thanks!! Enjoy the training mate :)

Definitely brother. I would say it lives up to the groove in your title, but I don't feel the "hyperstyles", until 12:41. Last mix was hyperstyles from start to finish. For my personal application of working out, I personally preferred the last mix, but that's just opinion.

This mix is still the best on here for me. I'll always look forward to your mixes brother :)

  6. You certainly have a feel for it, but in my humble opinion it's very cliché soundwise, which make the melodies pretty generic as well. If you could work on that, synthesis, it's going to sound more exciting. Right now, it doesn't stand out I think.

You have high standards for him.

I feel the same way. Although it's not his native style so let's see what happens

  7. You look badass dude, I hope more videos are coming. :)

    My suggestion:

Put some psycore music instead and do some wing chun (just for fun sake) :)

    https://youtu.be/gBxOU_IhtGQ?t=1m23s

Nice. That style is nice. I do know wing chun, I am proficient with wing chun dummy, but I'm going to showcase some raw power and really get it going. Here's another old one

As for your suggesstions, thanks!! It's all good when it comes to goa

  8. No roundabout kicks, no like & subscribe ;):P

Weird there's no Astral Projection playing in the background - I remember you loved them?

This was after I was training for hours in fact. I like to see myself at my worst, most tired,etc.. to improve.

This next video will be full effort. Astral projection track.. sounds like a smart idea

  9. This was 2008. I was already a 2 time state champ and Jr Olympian. I won a title belt at the end of that year.

I've never stopped training. My skill is at an all time high and I'm thinking about making a new youtube showcasing my lifetime martial arts achievements.

Needless to say I'll need a good goa track for the new video. Here's the old video :)

PS - i don't like to keep much stuff up because of the constant fight challenges and stalkers. It gets old quick

More info to follow soon  :)

Congratulations and welcome. Thanks for you're introduction, but my question; is digital reprints a non profit project?

  11. I respect your opinion. I am not kidding, and I love Suntrip material as well - for the record, so that's straigtened out.

    What a respectable answer!

We're dealing with a scholar and a gentleman here folks, let's take some notes.

    @]>------

A flower for a peaceful revolution here.

Now I'm going to go check out the GDR band camp, after that dig a little deeper into imba thread and see what's up with suntrip.

I hope everyone is having a great day, and if you're not.. don't worry - you're not alone. :)

  12. Often there is content from Filipe (GDR, this time around) that you might not see because we remove it. This time around there was additional, personal offline content. Every time we give him a chance (and we quickly figure out which new accounts are him), he squanders it by flying off the rails.

I see. This is how it starts?

  13. You're kidding, right ?

You only ATTACK those who can DEFEND.

I should not have to remind you of such.

To promote peace you must live peace.

Let the Music speak for itself. Let those love who they choose to love.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion.

I kindly remind everyone of such because I'll give someone a flower before I go to war. What does war do.. NOTHING.

  14. I'm lacking energy. Rather, I run out too soon. Something's amiss in my diet.

    Let's start with the basics.

    Carbs, proteins, healthy fats

    Then our vitamins and minerals.

A good sleep pattern, some movement and good food.

Where do you think a good place to take a finer look at things in your daily life would be

  15. I walk about 90 minutes on a typical day. In the afternoon, I walk to the Asian market in Japantown (about 2.5 miles away) where I eat lunch and study for one to two hours, then walk back again. That's my main form of exercise.

Now that I'm older I've also been 'working out' a little bit. On a good day, I'll do reps of pushups, situps, lunges, sometimes jumping jacks. For situps, I try to follow Muhammad Ali's advice of not counting them until they start to hurt, because those are the ones that count.

I don't have a particular cheat food. Occasionally I'll eat something a bit higher in fat but I normally stick to the McDougall/HCLF diet.

    Excellent my brother.

    Great Muhammad Ali reference.

    Stay beautiful

  16. Well, several years ago I had to train off 25 kg of body fat, it was a year of very strict shedule of diet and exercise - byking, dumbbels, chin-ups (added later, when i was starting out I wasn't able to do even a signle chinup, lol), total 7 hours per week of exercise. Now I watch out my diet and keep about 2-3 hours per week of exercise, when I see my BMI goes above 26 I enforce the exercises. I know it sounds like a joke compared to your acheivements but my life goals are kida different, making more great music is among them ;)

Comparing achievements is worthless. I love goa.. ! You love goa.. !! That makes us equals.

Well brother you definitely make great music. Maybe make a workout inspired track? Pure face ripping energy

  17. Filipe is in my opinion one of the greatest goa trance producers we have today. There's a lot of content coming out lately but it's really top notch production from start to finish. I just can't believe how he can make such good content quickly without sounding cheap, and the variety of genres he do. A natural talent. It's content really worth buying. I'm probaby biased, but I told him this before we even started cooperating with Good Dance Recordings, which for me has been a nice experience from the very beginning. I hope you are able to support this guy, if only with kind words, because he's really giving a lot to the goa community whatever past issues you've had with him.

I'll have to check out the new releases

  18. I have nothing to contribute since my exercises are very disorganised as well as my diet (well, at least I'm trying to stay away from carbs and junk food and keep some level of physical activity, but nothing to show off TBH). I've just came here to say that I really respect your motivation and dedication to what you are doing. I like people who have well defined goals in their life. Keep it up!

Cheat day food - Russian Pelmeni and Smetana ;)

Thank you for the food idea. I'll look it up and if I try it I'll tell you.

As for your personal diet and exercise.. all I heard were excuses. If you can recognize someone who is dedicated, then that quality exists in you as well. Which I know it does because you make great music so obviously you have a resilient quality as the very least.

I don't have to tell you how good you feel when you eat good and get moving. Dancing counts. Maybe get in a 10 minute walk?

I've been doing training with tires and sprints. I haven't had a nice long distance run to absorb the mix.

The 4 mile run that I did get in, let me hear enough to know that I think you have the best mixes in this section.

If someone reads that last statement and feels some friendly motivation.. great - otherwise you're the reigning king of the mix section.

Thank you again for your work. I would give you the best high five hug ever, and keep it up. This mix will last me weeks worth of training. Worth more than gold to me. :)
