  1. If it wasn't for M-Run I'd have forgotten the whole existence of Cronomi label (no releases within a year) but now Cronomi it is drilled to my corpus callosum for certain. Congrats for this one. Somehow it reminds me of The World Beyond (not saying that any track is alike..just an association..my brain is weird) so it was a go instantly. So, are you gonna start shipping when? Not that I care personally, have it downloaded, but I am gonna make a presentation of this release on my Goa Trance Lovers Finland page next week so I need to tell the right things.

  2. Nice to see psynewsers are becoming more and more ravers it seems :D

Haha..what are they normally then: geeks hacking a computer at home and being nostalgic listening to music that isn't produced any more?

And to the topic: I will keep off from all the festivals abroad until my goal is achieved: a goa party in Finland (working on it) with the best possible import stuff! Muhammad isn't going to the mountain..the mountain has to come to Muhammad this time ;) But have a great Connection fest all who go :)

  3. Kiitos @Oopie! This is a gem! The EP Misty Shades from the year 2008 has over 20 kilo downloads at Ekto :) I will definately look deeper into this and share a bit later. Is Mr. Pauli Komonen still doing music? Another thing: would be great to get some set from Aikahattu on Soundcloud ;)

  4. Well I hope you didn't abandon all other music styles altogether :)

I am a listener of Children Of Bodom music forever. And some other metal bands, too. But now it has been 90% goa listening since the mothafucka The Gate  And all energy is focused on goa.

  5. Sure, I see what you mean. And I'm glad a person like you exists here!

Thanks..I do hope I am up to it. The scene is, well, different from metal "idol worshipping" field. Countless are the nights I have woken up in the middle of the night to be the first to share new COB related stuff I was expecting to be at hand and get the credits to be "first". And all the work I did ending up to be in the secret group of 10 most active COB fans out of 2,6 million fans (likers) of the band. Hahaha..not all that fitting to the goa scene by any means. Producers are fans of each other without any need of outside help. But I sincerely hope that I can transfer some passion and good will to benefit goa trance listeners in Finland and abroad. And this is personal, too: I need Lunar Dawn duo eventually get booked in Finland. I owe the guys that ;) After all Lunar Dawn is a "band" that has had the greatest impact on my short goa trip along with Arronax. Damn, the tracks these produced made me to switch totally to goa from other music styles :o

  6. I added the page likes for Aavepyörä and Intriga. I had all forgotten about Neuropa ;) At some point I knew it was Pauli but then I forgot the whole existence of that project. Does Oopie have an official fb page?

Edit: didn't find any page for Sab Kuch Milegator or Ridge Mättöpyörä.

Edit 2: I am trying to keep my focus on goa with the closest subgenres like forest goa, nitzhogoa and downtempo/chill on that Goa Trance Lovers Finland page. Of the mentioned producers Nebula and Profetia are kinda closest to that in general, imo. Of course I will bring up any track from any Finnish producer if it fits the concept (tracks of the future anywayz).

  7. Sorry Anu but you're mistaken.

Well, my knowledge is based on a second-hand information I got in Neogoa slack chat (from a Finn) and it wasn't all detailed. The fact is that I have been listening to goa only for one year now so haven't been on the spot when the above mentioned events happened. About Suntrip staff visits here I heard that it was lots of waiting with "the local heroes playing" (whatever that meant, but not many goa heroes in Finland anyways) before the good stuff came. But GREAT if I am mistaken and thanks to you for straightening the facts :) My journey with goa is short and actually tomorrow comes 5 months since the release of The World Beyond. It was a life changer to me the way that goa became everyday life and it lead to the decision of leaving Children of Bodom Hate Crew that occupied me 24/7. So now my aim is to use that COB "training" for the sake of the goa scene. And for the goa scene in Finland since yesterday, haha. I don't have many domestic connections. But small steps ;)

  8. I know it is a bad timing to draw attention..so few ppl online because of the festival season.

But this is urgent as long as my psynews profile status is the way it is.

    66 likes --> I am not a beast ;)

But I am devilish enough to want 666 (or more) likes on my new fb page https://www.facebook.com/goatranceloversfinland

We have only two active goa trance producers in Finland and we want more! Also working on a solidly goa based party in Finland.. hasn't ever happened so far meaning only the best stuff :(

One like is cool as ice. We have ice probably somewhere in Lapland even today but we need more :) So would you please, please help me? Who sang that song with the chorus (Beatles??)

  9. I too was a supporter of Filipe a few years ago. But now i changed my mind. The most important thing is your own integrity and holding your boundaries. Therefore, i no longer support his lies (like his initial denial that he is behind submoon) or his manipulations for the sake of good music. I will not trade my dignity or the truth about things for anything anymore. But i admit, i had to learn this the hard way, but because of that, i have come to the very strong conclusion that supporting liars or narcissts will not get you anywhere in life.

I am aware of all this + many other things. Nevertheless there is 4 categories of "support".

    1. Music is so good that you want it no matter what. So you are thinking only of yourself. The artist gets thanks for the art.

    2. Music is good and you are glad to have it and also glad that you are supporting the artist.

    3. Music is okay. You could leave buying it but if buying is "expected" like the artist or label owner is your friend so you buy it for support.

    4. Music is crap but there is some kind of bondage (e.g. like in the number 3) so you buy it only for support.

This Submoon release fell into category one. I also am a big fan of Norwegian Burzum's music (category number 1). The guy is a church arsonist and a murderer. No differential treatment in goa.

  10. I am listening to the new Submoon release Hearts Of Goa and sounds so good that I am pondering over should I get it now as a digital download or wait for the CD. I need new music on my MP 3 player because I am in a few hours off to Helsinki where is 100 Guitars From HEL at the market square tonight. I wish goa was as popular here as metal is.

Edit 45 mins later: I went for the digital download. Nothing can stop me if I hear something so crazily good as the track number 5. Eighty thousands pounds of the best Filipe.

  11. As for The Gate I'd like to know the "Gate proportions" because it is the best goa trance track ever in the world. So that would be my order of geniuses, haha  But it is not getting there..well I work on it for 5 years so maybe then. Sounds wicked, haha :P

And I did. I got to know this masterpiece's percentage proportions..who did and what..not telling..

  12. Brand new track from the upcoming 9th studio album of COB "I Worship Chaos", release date Oct 2nd, 2015. Good riffs! But they are expected of Alexi Laiho who is named the world's best guitarist by e.g. Metallica's Kirk Hammet + a couple of leading magazines. This band's fan group The COB Hate Crew has given me so much but life goes on and we walk on..always sticking with the music, though.

  13. The fuck.. I knew psychs were way over their heads but this is on a whole different ballpark.

I do have regrets. But go with a flow type of thing was back in times. The other 2 in the car were graduated psychiatrists, one was a psychologist. I was a med student working under "supervision" that was existing only on the paper. And no excuses for me.

  14. Tracks 2,3,4 are Wow...Just Wow. thanks for bringing this to my attention Trance2MoveU

Track 3 is wow wow wow and all the wows in the planet! Ya found this gem compilation like now Punit? Better later than never!

  15. Perhaps they were thrown off by my immediate refusal to take any medication whatsoever to "help" me.

I have worked 3 years in a mental hospital as a doctor during my med studies in the late 1990's through the beginning of 2000. Quitted med school and went to work to get experience and money. Yeah..it is possible in Finland once you achieve a lower candidate degree from med school. All I can tell is that patients against taking drugs are immediately put in this "foul category" of not willing to play by the rules and psychiatrists take the attitude to be besserwissers in these cases refusing not even to discuss the options. I did that, too. I was living in the context of a doctor attitude fed to me at med school by teachers and fellow students. The hospital where I worked in was 1,5 hour drive away from where I lived and me and my 3 workmates used to drive there "carpool". Many times during the drive we just laughed at this and that "funny and stupid" patient who doesn't know his/her own best. Mostly we had the same patients so we talked about them directly using names. I have changed 110% from those times. Humanity has stepped in. Medical school is a school of brainwash. Pharmaceutical companies also contribute with throwing parties with free drinking and gifts.

  16. Nevermind quality issues: the sets are good quality enough. What I like about GoaPal's mixes is that I don't have to think anything...just turn the mixes on and the good stuff is pouring on me. My and Andreas's taste of goa is so much alike :P:D I'd like to hear some of your drum n' bass, bro, ya still have them?

  17. What do you actually do in your life? What do you think is causing this anxiety, when did it start? Therapy. Finding the root helps.

Personally increasing dopamine input helped my anxiety a lot(placebo or not but l-tyrosine made me more focused), but mostly lifestyle changes and meeting a girl curbed it to the ground. I still have issues with it when I'm under stress or certain situations but mine basically went away with just changing how I live, facing situations I normally wouldn't.

You could also try Buspar instead of a typical ssri. It's geared toward anxiety quite exclusively even though it contains serotonic properties.

I kind of agree and disagree at the same time. Our brother has already tried looots of stuff. Sure if one keeps on searching and trying new medics it might end up with a miracle of really finding the cure but there's a limit how much one can handle (mentally and physically) these trials. Mentally so that there supposedly is more disappointments ahead than success and it eats up like it has already eaten up him. And disappointments lead to more anxiety. A good thing here is that he shared his stuff openly in this forum: speaking to ppl is necessary..wrestling the stuff alone is a way to destruction as far as I see it. And psychiatrists can be real cunts..they don't care mostly. Finding friends online and irl is the thing to do (@ Penzoline: yes, a nice thing ya met that girl). And listening to music. Sports, too, if one is up to such.

  18. Oh..this kind of problem is kind of out of proper and effective cure considering medical drugs unless one wants to start using schizophrenia drugs regularly and be a zombie day n' night. Happened here this spring that the drummer of Nightwish Jukka Nevalainen was forced to quit his job because of bad insomnia that had been treated in every possible way with no outcome. And this drummer sure had money for good docs (Nightwish is a famous and rich band). He came out public about the thing, that's how I know. What comes to you I wish all the best fighting the stuff. Horns up \m/ :)
