  2. Almost two years ago, Gil (Nitro) & Yanniv (U-Recken) has present their compilation "Enemies and Allies" which showed the unique style of Doof's sub label - Dooflex Records. Now, they are unite forces again and created the "Soul Anatomy" cd. Inside the comp. you can find names of rising comers such as Flyby project and some intersting cooperations like Nitrodrop (Nitro & I-Drop).

    Review :

    1. U-Recken vs Nitro - Eternity

The fly is start with combination of Yanniv and Gil. They are both have lots of releases on compilation, but their tracks together are always something different & special. "Eternity" track is simply a powerful material with lovely atmosphere and tons of smiley vibes spilled out. It's always pleasure to begin the journey with morning twister.

    2. Quantum - Bleep

Gidi's style is exactly the type of the music for the Dooflex label. As an old fan of Quantum / Gidi Hovek Olam, I'm proud to say that he has improve him music big time. "Bleep" track is kind of full on stuff with dark vibes, it can be played at the night time and also at the morning. The kick is very danceable supported by noisey effects. I'm promise you - this track will load lots of dust in the dance floors.

    3. Mahamudra - Her Sister (Nitrodrop Rmx)

Now it's time to expose the new team - Gil (Nitro) and Dima (I-Drop). The original track of Mahamudra released on "Enemies & Allies" comp. This remix is funky one with many colorful ideas and cool vibes. The melodic part on the middle and the crazy stop on 04:00, just prove how much variation is important for produce jumpy tune. Good work guys.

    4. Nitrodrop - Esta La Parakara

Despite the great remix before, I found this track a bit disappointing. It's too cheezy in my opinion - too much up's & down's without chance to get decent moment of diging. I hope to connect more to the future release of this duo.

    5. U-Recken - The Island

When I heard the samples, "The Island" track was the hit for me immediately, but the full piece is not as my expections. Don't get me worng - it is a very good track with many highlights moments, but after so much excellent tracks of Yanniv, I expected for something more unique. The atmosphere here is magical, which packed with games of lovely playings and non-stop diging. It is definitely one of my favorites.

    6. Mind Complex - Criminality

"Criminality" track is the sweetest piece of work I could ask. Gleb Gold is the man behind this project. It's impossible to be apathetic to this track, surely the most powerful tune I heard this year. The beginig is amazing - slowly slowly it's growing and when the kick gets in, all the legs are deep in the ground. The second part (from 03:30) is less powerful and special, but the dust is still in the air :-). THE hit of this compilation.

    7. Quantize - Old school

Quantize (Reshef Harari & Adi Ashkenazi) is a promising act from the Progressive area, but here they prove they can to shake other floors as well. "Old school" track is kind of prog-on with fine groove and many progressive elements. The high level of the production is make it sound so sharp and clear. In my opinion, it's a nice & refreshing track, but not more than that.

    8. Loud - Betone

Loud's debut was cause for many waves in the scene when it came out and this is the reason for the high expections from each Loud track. "Betone" tune is keep the same direction of the album - agressive, massive and progressive. Kobi & Eitan have some magic in their music, which is impossible to describe in words...just hear it and let your inside feeling to judge ;).

    9. Flyby - Wirdo birdo

The last track is material of new project developed by Assaf Artzi and Zeevic Gilad. Please take some pen and write this project name down, because it's the hottest shit around. The heavy kick is help to create a mature picture and all those soft effects (like the whistles) just spread positive vibes everywhere. Keep it up Assaf & Zeevic, I'll look forward to check new releases by Flyby.

  4. Hi All !

Somewhere on the end of 2005 Flow Records released a revolutionary compilation called "Globalise". This one got tons of positive feedbacks all around the globe and we could finally know what are the Yotopiot secret hits. One and half year later Dayan (Tomer Dayan) & Jhon (Yoni Rimon) present the second part of this series. "Globalize 2" is expressing the diversity of Yotopia, which developed over the years - they mix between electro, minimal and progressive and give us feel the special feeling from their sets. Flow Records is host them one more time to spread out thier Gloablize move.

    Review :

    01. Harper & Green - Lifetime

The Electro feeling is sensed from the first track. "Lifetime" track is kind of introduction for the next to come and it's put the listener on the right mood very fast. I can't explain how, but the track is magnetizes me and forces me to focus on it only. After four minutes of growing kick and slow baseline - the bells are ringing, the choir is are singing and the melody just playing softly...amazing moment.

    02. Antix vs Embark - Hammers & Tongs

The Antix brothers were released their third album (Wanderers) this month on Iboga Records. Here Barton & Hayden are cooperating with Embark and show us the deep result. "Hammers & Tongs" track is a pure progressive material packed with Minimal vibes and comfortable flow. This tune took me to journey of the soul and let me feel so refresh and invigorated inside the body. A lovely piece of work.

    03. Nivoastro - Cordi

Nivoastro is new name for me and I excited so much from their track here. The massive kick is gives heavy feeling to the track and together with the melodies it's sound like heaven on earth. "Cordi" tune is useful dj tool – it is help to create different harmony of serenity. When the main brake is come, the track gets new life - delightful vibes just going out to the air.

    04. Yotopia & Nasser – Symbiosis

Now it is the time of Dayan and Jhon to present their newest stuff. Tomer and Yoni are always bring something happy with their music and here they get help from Nasser. "Symbiosis" track is full of joy, packed with lots of good vibes and beautiful melodies. As one of Yotopia's old fans, I can feel the progress of their production with upgrade style, which focus on the dance floor enjoyment. Keep it up guys.

    05. Elegant Universe & Domestic – Slope Point

Now, we get a combination of two talented guys (Miki Litvak & Amir Ardon) together with Ido Ophir, which known by his full on project – Domestic. "Slope Point" track is a lovely tune – Electro style influenced by proggy elements and very unique flow. It's a dance floor twister for sure.

    06. Comrade – Crystal Clear

When you look for happy track for make your heart work faster, I'm almost sure that "Crystal Clear" is the right choice for it. This is a track has no limits – melodic and deeper with amazing atmosphere of happiness. Everything is just sit on the right place and it is take the listener for a colorful trip in the progressive fields. On 04:10 you can hear beautiful playing, which leave you breathless for one and half minutes. The next up is feels like an early sunrise with smiley vibes spilled out from the beats. "Crystal Clear" is simply the most special track on this VA.

    07. 4D – Slag

"Slag" tune is an example for pure progressive sound. Nine minutes of magical flow with groovy kick and calm bassline. It isn't the ultimate dance floor shaker, but it definitely had hidden power to make the body move conveniently with good feeling inside. Nice work.

    08. Brisker & Magitman – Complex

Roman Brisker and Igal Magitman are the Israeli heroes of the Elcetro-Clubby genre in my opinion. They are always producing their music with tons of creativity and fresh ideas. "Complex" track is very jumpy and danceable, the track is alive all the time and provides true pleasure to the listener. One more hit from B&M kitchen.

    09. Bjorn Mandry & Thomas Gold – Suppress You

The end is even sweeter than we could ask. This one is chilly and friendly, packed with soft melodies and nice male singing, which turn it to the emotionally side of the scale. The tempo is lower than average and all together help to close "Globalize" second chapter with big smile on the face plus warming feeling.

  5. Hi All !

Doof Records is offically open the summer season with new compilation called "Phunk Core" - compiled by DJ Dica. As always, the style is uncompromise psytrance with night mood and non stop power. Beside the Doof's artists (such as Entropy and Cactus), the cd is featuring also names of rising comers such as Pantomiman and Illegal Machines. Ok, it's time to leave so please bring with you the necessary equipment and lets go out to the Phunk Core journey...

    Review :

    01. Pantomiman - Tikva

Please introduce Geroge Agaronov & Serj Jiro from Russia. They get the respect to open the cd with their 'Tikva' track. It's start funky with crazy elements chilly beats untill the the bassline change on 01:26. From this point the twisted kick supporting by the funky elements from the begining are doing the job well. Every sleepy dance floor will wake up with this charm track.

    02. Orca - The Human Brain

The Israeli Alon Lifer is take control now. 'The Human Brain' track is jump one step up and presents a reserved harmony with lots of danceable moments like the brake on 03:40, which surely create a dust storm in the floor. As you can hear, the order of the track list is very smart, because it's developing slowly to the highlight point through colorful way.

    03. Illegal Machines - Fucking Confuse

Illegal Machines project is created by Fabien & Yan from France. This tune is turned to the night time with darkish atmosphere. The flat kick together with the unstable bassline is a fine recipe for enjoyable diging. Fabien and Yan are using samples of human conversation for add more action to the track, and it actually works. After four minutes of madness, the main brake is cooking some serious up and the diging just became deeper and deeper. Don't say good bye to this talented guys yet, because we'll promptly see them again.

    04. Psykodriods - Vegetal Twist

Psykodroids is a cooperation between Illegal Machines guys together with 3 more people - Wilfried, Stefan and David. So, when five different brains is working on one material, the result is must be special. 'Vegetal Twist' track is the typical dj tool for each one who involved with twisted beats. I found this track special one, because it's has some magical-groove touch without much noisy effects around - just pure groove all the way. Despite the fact it is a short tune (06:10), 'Vegetal Twist' track has the biggest impact so far.

    05. B55 - Brave

Japan is also take part here with B55 project (Keisuke & Takashi). 'Brave' track has one clear target - create a pure chaos on the floor. It's kind of the tunes, which always on action, not even one brake, just a strict bassline with fast kick. I hope you are brave enough to dig all the way with this powerful track.

    06. Entropy - One More

Entorpy is one of the hottest names in Israel, especially when the summer is come. Omer and Pitt are playing in outdoor events almost every weekend and spread their message all around. 'One More' track is show one more time who is the boss here - one more bomb from Entropy is sent to the air. Words can't desribe to perfect connection between the track & the human body. My body is respond automaticlly to this heavy beats with all those hallucinate vibes. Good job.

    07. Rev & B55 - Succubus

The combination of Troy (Rev) and B55 guys has high expections and belive me - you will not disappoint at all. "Succubus" track is the most powerful track in the cd IMO - Doof style with solid kick and rolling bassline. Be aware from the summer next dance floor hit.

    08. Pantomiman - Trip Trap

Mr. Agaronov is back for put some color to the comp. As before - "Trip Trap" tune is also full of crazy effects and packed with some funky vibes. If your body is look for stuff to help him release the all energy out, this is the requied stuff. Simply A diverse material.

    09. Cactus - Lord Of

Avi 'Cactus' Sakora has just released his debut album ("Extremely Careful") before few months and now he is share with us the new work. "Lord Of" track is a typical Cactus style - groovy beats, high tempo and even some melody for a change . This track is kind of "stubborn" full on by the dark rules. Nice job man.

    10. Illegal Machines - Misu Soup

The guys from France are closing this compilation with "Misu Soup" track. Dica has decided to make the end more softer & gentle and thats why this track is the last one (definitely not the least one). It's a smiley tune with many cheezy parts and good vibes all the time. The long game with the effects is add some psychedelic sparks from time to time. Generealy, this is the most convenient end we could ask.

  6. Cosmosis is need no introduction. After so many magical releases beyond, Bill Halsey is releasing brand new album called "Psychedelica Melodica". The album is present Bill's latest materials influenced by the modern full-on style, but still keeps Cosmosis rare touch. It's out in Phantasm Records on June 07.

Now is the time to taste some psychedelica melodica...

    Review :

    01. No Such Thing (Throb Factor Five mix)

It's start with a morning twister, don't look for pleasant begining or something because you won't find it here. I'm really impressed from Bill's ability to combine between his old style and the modern line of nowadyas and tell you the truth - it's sound amazing ! like always, the melodies is the main issue - floating and lovely. The track has some secret power to hypnotize the listener to it. "No Such Thing" track is remind me how much I miss Cosmosis music...

    02. Creature From Outer Space

This time, the track has a chilly intro featuring acoutic guitar and soft melodies and go on with sophisticated groove. It's sound a bit messy on the first part of it , but when the melody is on, everything is just perfect. The glactic playing on 04:40 is add a convenient feeling to the track and later the guitar riff from the begining is come back and create a wonderful journey. Simply a delicate madness.

    03. Metaphysical Worlds

The vocals & samples have a serious job on Bill's music and here you can find them again and again. On the second of the kick's enterace, I immediately thought about Astrix old stlye...kind of short flashback. Actually, I did not recognize a special moment on the track, same formula all the time without refreshes or suprises.

    04. Dance of The Cosmic Serpent

The first 30 seconds gave me the impression maybe Bill is going to present us some old school tune, but ten seconds later I'm understood that this is just a fantasy :-). The goa melodies together with full-onish baseline is sound good just when it's combined well and thats exactly the case here. "Dance of The Cosmic Serpent" track has the feeling of the old style of Cosmosis with the unique atmosphere and thats why the brake on 04:30 really suprised me - after one minute of developing goa melody, come from no where a stretched kick (really similar to the Phantasm line) and lead the track to another place. I'm really appricate Bill for his courage to mix two different style and do it well.

    05. The Other Side

The same thing from the previous track is happening on track number five. Bill is actually show us a new style - upgrade goa trance music by nowadays rules. It's has some hallucinate vibes on it with special parts like the "strong" up on 05:02, but generally "The Other Side" is not an unforgettable material, just avarage stuff with some highlight moments.

    06. Martian Blues

This track is a gem ! it is start with Blues guitar playing and developing smartly. The Bluesy atmosphere is really special and the whole concept of "Martian Blues" track is simply one of a kind. People, prepare your self for an enjoyable tune, full of guitar riffs and amazing flow. The hit of the album IMHO.

    07. Journey Of The Soul

"Journey Of The Soul" track is full on track on soft version. It's going up gradually, step by step, like a long journey with up's & down's. The general atmosphere is confusing a bit - sometimes it sound like we are going to bomb together with the track but it's not happen, just the opposite - the track is going down suddenly. I guess it's the journey of the soul.

    08. Spanish Gypsy

Last but surely not least is "Spanish Gypsy" track. This one is melodic track with special delightful ability to make the listener fly high to a smiley trip. It's include all the necessary elements - story, beautiful melodies, magical atmosphere, exciting guitar riffs, danceable kick and positive vibes. What a lovely end to this journey....

To sum it up - "Psychedelica Melodica" is the prove for Bill's mature developing and his diversity to try different directions, which in my opinion he did it successfuly. This album has a lot of influences from Cosmosis past music and I'm sure every one who still did not hear it, is very curious to understand what I'm talk about.

  7. After releasing his debut album 'Brainwash', and a smashing comp on 3Dvision records (Hardfloor), Painkiller presents his next compilation including a very special edition of psytrance combined with authentic Spanish flamenco beats.

The experiment was very succesfull, with the first track on painkiller album, thus creating automatic reaction from other artists wanting to mix flamenco and trance aswell. With great support of Nutek crew, Roy could create this finest product from the worldwide trance scene.

  9. XI third album is finally here ! Amir Dvir & Moshe Keinan are the names behind this project. After they were based their position on the top full on scene with two successful albums ('XI' and 'Temporary Insanity') and lots of releases on compilations, the time has come and 'The Beast Within' is coming out. The style is their typical one - strong beats featuring shady vibes and many dance floor elements. So, get ready for the new trip in XI spaceship...

    2. The beast within

    3. Creature of the night

    4. Red handed (XI rmx)

    6. No way out

    7. Bass safari

    8. Turbulence

    9. Last stop

    10. Head split

    Review :

    1. Intro

Two minutes of introduction for the long expected journey is best choice :-). Slowly we get in the business...

    2. The beast within 145 BPM

The begining of this track suprised me a bit, suddenly enter an electro influenced kick supporting by groovy bass-line...but after two minutes the madness is start. It's contains lots of noisy effects around, which creates the track's story and lead the listener to the main target - diging ! the lovely guitar's playing on the middle is super special and follow the track all over it. Great opening guys.

    3. Creature of the night 143 BPM

It's start chilly and comfortable, but when the heavy beats arrives - the rest is over and game is on. The high level of sound is add a lot to the track's feeling. This guys are not relax even for a second, everything is on action all the time and this create a danceable flow in the air. Actually, you will not remmember something special from this track, but as DJ tool - 'Creature of the night' is a gift.

    4. Red handed (XI rmx) 143 BPM

X Noise and Domestic are responsible for 'Red Handed' original version and when they gave Moshe & Amir free hand to do what they want with it, we got this result. This version is completly different - more powerful and dynamic, full of jumping moments and XI unique vibes. Simply a dance floor stomper !

    5. Virtual violence 145 BPM

Track number five is a special one in my opinion, because the smart developing and the old XI style. Don't look for games or cheesy parts - 'Virtual violence' is a diging only. Somehow, XI always create an anxious atmosphere on their tracks and force the body react permanently.

    6. No way out 142 BPM

The title say all - there is no way out from this trip :-). This time, the tempo is going down a bit and give the body option to reload the powers again. I found 'No way out' track kind of boring and avarage, except some specific moments of emotionaly seconds packed with deep melodies. Anyway, we all needed this track as a small brake from the digs routine.

    7. Bass safari 145 BPM

I hope you all chilled enough, because the spaceship must keep the journey. Regretfully the come back is not as I expected - 'Bass safari' track is a bit repulsive after several listenings. But, as usual, XI must have at least one glory moment and thats whats happening on 04:30. Lets hope for better continuance.

    8. Turbulence 145 BPM

The compensation is come immediately. 'Turbulence' is exactly what I need at this time - no sophistication and tricks, just pure music with Amir & Moshe's touch. The formula is clear - more power, less melodies and the most important...magical flow. Well done.

    9. Last stop 140 BPM

Sometimes I wonder why XI don't produce more music on this tempo ? they doing it so good. 'Last stop' is a mature track, which help the listener to keep the legs moving, but the vibes & atmosphere are much more calm on comparing to the previous tracks. Just now, two tracks before the end, we could sense kind of emotionaly feeling inside the music. The heart is come back to the regular pulse ;).

    10. Head split 130 BPM

It's time to collect the all pieces of the body and connect them again after hard trip and thats why XI give us 'Head split' track. A free style tune, downbeat and chilly packed with enjoyable feeling of the end...

  11. Yanniv Goldfarb, born in Israel in 1976, started the path to music at the age of 15 when he got his first electric guitar and joined the hard core/metal band Brutal Platoon. Soon to become successful on the local Israeli scene, they even performed live with two legendary British bands, Exploited and Carcass.

At the age of 18, Yanniv began his first DJing experience in an alternative rock/new wave club, The End, where he became a resident DJ. In 1995 he discovered the world of Goa Trance, soon to change his life. After the transaction of playing Trance at local parties, he left for Japan where he lived for 4 years, Djing in Tokyo clubs and outdoor events. In 1998, he traveled to India for 6 months, soaking up more of the Goa/psychedelic trance genre that he fell in love with back in ’95, playing week after week in the mountains of the Parvati and Kulu (Manali) Valleys.

While in Japan, together with his Turkish friend DJ Sancar (OTG), he started Arcadia, a successful party organizing and CD distribution company. In the summer of 2000, the team parted ways and Yanniv returned to Israel to create a new label, Bionics Records and to get his practical Sound Engineering degree.

After several years of activity running the label and producing music under the name Onyx, Yanniv realized that he had to choose between running his own label and his passion to write music. The decision to close Bionics Records was inevitable and the real Onyx was born!

Now in 2007- After 12 years of successful activity in the international Trance scene, achieving a solid reputation for top notch producing & songwriting, Yanniv is about to release his debut album, ‘Groove On’, under the label BNE/YoYo.

2 years in the making, ‘Groove On’ contains powerful remixes to Oforia & Onyx /Space Cat while highlighting fresh & exciting collaborations with the likes of Domestic, PTX, Black & White, Time Lock & Ultravoice. Standout tracks: Manpower & Step by Step- already making massive waves on the international scene.

The Onyx sound can be defined as being influenced by a diversity of musical backgrounds and trance styles, which all combine to make a unique form of highly energetic and fun music of the highest quality, that ROCKS any dance floor !!

  15. Hi All !

Morphonic Records is a new label based in France and focus on the full-on genre. The forth release of this promising label is "Psychofluid" compilation, which compiled by DJ Toltek. On the track list you can find some names of new comers near some of veteran projects such as Rumble Pack and Shagma. So, lets push "play" and start this full-onish tour...

    Posted Image

    01. Audiotec & Genetic Syndrome - The Secrets of the Muze 145 BPM

Miki Damski aka Audiotec is worked together with Ilan Shemi and the result is "The Secrets of the Muze" tune. This two guys from south Israel did very good job here - the track is flowing, melodic and easy going for each ear. The rhythm is roughly same all over the track, but the main issue here is wonderful melodies and the lovely vocals, which add lots of colors to the tune. A proper opening for magical journey. I'm defenitely look forward for new materials by Geneteic Syndrome.

    02. Rumble Pack – Solitaire 145 BPM

Andreas and Philip were release their debut album ('Packed and Ready') on Morphonic label this month. Rumble Pack's special style is freshing and jumpy and "Solitaire" track is doing the job well. The tempo is avarage and the baseline is running like it should be. I really like the effects around, which drawing beautiful paint and hypnotize the listener to the sounds.

    03. Lamat – Fade to Gray 145 BPM

Track which starts with melody is most of the time a positive sign for me. Lamat's style is really remind me the Eskimo's revolutionary line, but I found the "Fade to Gray" track a bit boring. The soft melodies are very enjoyable and sometimes even help the track to pump, but the big picture is disappointing.

    04. Life Extension - Relax 148 BPM

The BPM is going up here. Please be ready for long drive with a stirring sounds. The track is developing slowly and create a dance floor bomb with some unforgetable parts like on 02:50 when the lady is singing and than come a danceable baseline which support the singing. After five minutes the middle brake is on - brilliant melody and strong up...completely chaos ! Surely one of the best tunes on this VA.

    05. FFT – Virtual DNA 148 BPM

This time Marcos Sanchez (Lamat) is unite forces with Christian Vogel as FFT. The full on madness is go on. "Virtual DNA" track is twisted and unstable, there are always changes with the base line, which make it intersting and pumping.

    06. Shagma – Nevralgic 144 BPM

Two bombs are behind and now Jean & Laurent is taking the business down. The "Nevralgic" track is done well - the body is still moving and the head is get some rest & pleasure with calm melodies and easy flow. DJ Toltek was put this order for make a balance for the listener and provide full power experience. Great job Shagma.

    07. Ion – G8 140 BPM

I hope you all ready for the bigest suprise of this cd and my personaly favorite tune. Ion Geragelos is a new name for me, but his "G8" track is simply a gift. When I'm imagine a perfect full on track, this is exactly what I'm expecting to get. The sound quailty is high, the tempo is almost going down to the proggy genre and the atmosphere is electrified. You can find here everything - lovely guitars, exciting vocals, fine melodies and amazing groove. I'm just flying with this track and smile all the way up :-). Thank you MR. Ion for taking this cd one level higher.

    08. Ancient Beach – Dimension Seeker (Huicholity remix) 145 BPM

Huicholity (DJ Toltek) is present his own remix for "Dimension Seeker" track of Nozomi Nakamura aka Ancient Beach. This one is not my cup of tea at all, I have a difficulty to connect this kind of flat kick & running baseline. The flow is very nice but for me there is not something to remmember.

    09. Ital – Going to the Matrix 145 BPM

One of the best thing on compilations is the sweet end of most of them. Ital (Daniel Carcur Arredondo) is new comer with much talent and great musical touch. Here, he is take us to the end through a smiley way with super-melodic track following with groovy beats and comfortable vibes. Keep the good work mate.

All in all, this cd is leave me with very good impression especially because I'm not deep into the full on business, but still I can enjoy from smart selection of tracks with considering order of the track-list. Thank you DJ Toltek, all artists and Morphonic Records for this cd.

With almost a year of experimentation. Two of the most promising trance artists of Mexico. Anti Gravity (Ivan Vargas) and Substance (Victor Aguilar) decide to create this massive mixture of serious and clearly defined dance music, and put it all together on this mind invasion called “Space Invaded”. Expected to be an album even the techno phobic couldn’t ignore.

The effect of listening to it from start to finish is like aching to gorge oneself with Halloween candy. Like stuffing oneself with a bunch of sweet fluff melodies. But not too filling… it’s an experience you’d want over and over again. It transforms the usual operatic pretensions of trance into a quick and potent chunk of resonant explorations of high loaded bass lines. Heavy weight drum sequences, distorted beats and many explorations of specific timbres that linger close to a central idea on each cut., incorporating just enough variations to remain disturbing the dance floor.

Holding balance with the rhythmic strategies, massive breakdowns were par for the course in dance music. Unleashing monsters like “Space Invaded” and “High Definition” demonstrating their beats and rock mentality to be ahead of its time. Id-School electro melodies and tweaked to the extreme 303/606/909 shows the clear and renovated influence of old school electronic dance music and many other kinds of vintage and high technology sounds.
