Astropilot - Fruits Of The Imagination

Astropilot has made an impressive presentation with his tracks 'Son of The Sky' and 'Yasmin' ('The Riddle Of Santa Catherina' / Avatar). His original style has gained him a reputation as one of the promising contemporary musician to come out of Russia.

Dmitry Red'ko is Siberia based, something that has contributed in generating his original recognizable style. This is just another reason why his musical direction is different and undistracted by the European scene. Trying to compare his style with other acts will not be an easy task.

It has been a long wait for his debut studio album, and the wait turned out to be fruitful. 'Fruits Of The Imagination' is far out. There are no big guns here, and there is no undercurrent. His message is clear and easy to digest. FOTI is innocent and euphoric. With tracks like 'Arimoya', 'Sansara', and the heavenly 'Touch Of Heaven', a clear effort to bring a message of peace is pointed out.

Astropilot delivers here hi tech-ethno soft trance with a silky production, soulful optimistic beats, combining Indian vocals which contribute to the ethno east bound ambience in his music. FOTI stays with you as it is for everyone.

Astropilot has remixed for an impressive lineup of artists and the waitlist grows…

  7. TVRF018 Nipp – Making of EP

The second EP of promising Czech musician Nipp has been released under Tribal Vision flag at end of August. Besides three original tracks in minimalistic, sophisticated and elegant progressive/tech house style, you will find there also Roman Rai´s deep mix of the title song.

TVRD019 John Deere – Dirty, dirty EP

“Dirty, dirty” and “Tonight” are the two tracks featured on the latest digital release of the talented Serbian artist Nemanja Mirkovic aka John Deere for Tribal Vision Rec.

With Duca, he is the second progressive artist from Serbia, who is gaining the support of our label for its production. And this is not by chance; both tracks are true dance floor material, finest electro house – from more trancy and driving territories, to clubby, funky sounds.

TVRD020 Chris Girard & Hugo Gerritse – Left Unsaid EP

Chris Girard from Canada and Hugo Gerritse from the Netherlands deliver at Tribal Vision Digital with “Left Unsaid” a distinctive piece of deep, melodic progressive house. Both djing and producing music on their own for years are also known for their joint project Emersia. They have releases so far for No Smoking Records, Tilth Music and Toes in the Sand.

The original uncovers tight percussions and beats blended with enchanting rolling female vocals and synths. The Croatian label artist, Mladen Glavnic, aka Parrket, rounds the release with a groovier and pumpier approach in the remix, adding some more electro house touches and a dub version without the vocals.

  8. Hi All !

Quantize is a fresh project by two guys - Reshef Harari & Adi Ashkenazi from Israel. After several releases on various labels such as Blue Tunes, Dooflex and Midijum, it's time to taste a full compilation by the Quantize dou. "Stepping forward" compilation is packed with some familiar names (Aerospace, Odiseo and Echotek for example) together with new comers such as Buttersonic and Jey & EX. The designer of this cover is also deserves a credit for a beautiful ideas.

    Posted Image

    01. Behind blue eyes - Rumble in the jungle(Jey&Ex rmx)

One of BBE's biggest hits is remixed (again) by Carlos & Pedro. I did not expect it at all, but I got a groovy bomb with jumping vibes and lots of smiley waves all over. Jey & Ex were take this material and changed it to this own vision...the result is super-sweet. My favorite part here is start on 03:30 - spacey effects growing slowly and than get up the groovy kick and let us dig hardly. Fascinating beginning !

    02. V Tunes – Simple, Dirty & Side chained (Quantize & Buttersonic rmx)

The second track is present an interesting cooperation between Quantize and Shahaf Efrat aka Buttersonic. The remix is special and refreshing - groovy bassline and fat kick is the main factors here. The most unique thing here is the simplicity atmosphere, which gives a warm feeling to the listener and magical ability to connect each ear easily.

    03. Visua – Energy (Aerospace rmx)

The next track is also remix, this time by Guy (Youngman) Shanti better known as Aerospace. Guy has developed his style big time, his sound is more clear and sharp but unfortunately the modern style is not my cup of tea. Guy's remix to Energy track has some highlights moments like the break on 04:25 but the general concept is far from what I look for when I listen the proggy beats. Shanti - get back to the roots.

    04. Buttersonic – Passion

Shahaf Efrat is back, but this time alone. This track can be written under "club-progressive" category, so all the fans of this genre - this is a gift for you. Generally, I found it a bit boring most of the time, despite the repeating Passion cheezy vocal. I'm sure this tune can shake a club floor without problem, but my taste is not includes this kind of proggy.

    05. Aerospace – The future is here (Quantize rmx)

Each compilation has it own hit, most of the time is track number five, and this is the case here too. "The future is here" track is taken from Guy's debut album (Earth). Adi & Reshef did an excellent work with this remix - totally dance floor stuff. The effects & samples from the original track together with Quantize's additions are creates a lovely piece of groove. After three minutes and 35 seconds, the track is get down for the main brake and what a bomb is expect you here...DELICIOUS.

    06. Odiseo – Think about U

Ulises Pascual is the man behind Odiseo project. This guy has the most friendly progressive-music I've never heard, All of his track are happy and positive. In my opinion, Odiseo has better releases than "Think about U" track, a bit more creativity could be very helpful here . The same loop is back itself again and again without special changes or increments, too much "dead" moments.

    07. Echotek – Electro Buzz

Micha Yossef is known as a colorful producer cause his variation of styles (soft Full-On, Progressive and Electro). As the title say - this track is an Electro bomb from the first second until the last one. Usually, I can't connect with Electro material but this one surely has some secret magic. What a driving !

    08. Flow & Zeo FT. Stephan DX – U can get some

The Electro line is keep here also. The tempo is slower and calmer but still, this track is an exciting experience. "U can get some" track is not appointed to the dance floor, just listen, smile and enjoy from cool breeze.

    09. Flowjob – Woody Twister

Mads & Joakim are known as a dance floor jumpers. Their last visit in Israel was one of a kind, it's simply unbelievable how Flowjob music can hypnotize the crowd the make everyone fly high. "Woody Twister" track is chiller tune with atmosphere of the end. If you like electronic music, it's just impossible not have fun with this material.

  12. Hi All !

Iboga Records is the hottest prog label of the last years in favor of spectacular compilations and albums, and the most awaited release (at least for me) is finally coming out. Ace Ventura is solo project of Yoni Oshrat, old groover and half of the full-onish duo - Psysex. Yoni is also responsible for a promising Electro project called "Schatsi". His debut album, Rebirth, has very high expectations after several lovely releases on varied labels such as Domo, Blue Tunes and Flow Records.

Lets check what is the story behind Yoni's rebirth.

    Posted Image

    01. Intro

The first track is an official introduction to the next to come. Almost two minutes of developing up and fine preface for the second track.

    02. Serenity now

The trip is opening...Yoni is demand serenity, but the track has completely different target. The sound quality is super professional and that is an important factor on Ace's music. The kick is powerful, the bassline is still calm but the vibes are intense. The melodies are smiley & happy and the atmosphere is amazing. No need two or three tracks for get in Yoni's vision, "Serenity now" track is doing the job well.

    03. Psychic Experience (With Liquid Soul)

I'm sure that each progressive fan would dream for such an interesting combination between the European happiest prog producer and the official Israeli dance floor cracker. The result is even better than I expect. "Psychic Experience" track is smart piece of groove with rare vibes and special flowing. This track has the ability to connect every psytrance listener, because the unique simplicity and the friendly beats all over it. After five minutes of non-stop smiles, the main brake is coming...and what a bomb it is hide beyond. Capo & Yoni, please work together more often .

    04. Sao Paulo

I hope you all recovered, because "Sao Paulo" track is going to press your legs hardly. It's start with continuous-kick and after one minute exactly got in a pumping bass, which leave no options but DIGGING. I can't share with you the feeling I get from the track, it's just impossible to do that with words. I'm still try to understand where all those bombs came from and as I think, the track is get down (03:25), but suddenly, twenty five seconds later, the kick is up again with renewed energies. I can write full page about this track, but in this case the words are meaningless. If you want to understand what is all the nonsense I'm writing here please hear it on high volume and good sound system.

    05. Stimulator (with Intelabeam)

"Stimulator" track is a closing circle for me - before two years I fall in love with 'Nasty Peach' track of Yoni & Dan (Intelabeam), which released on 'Posse' compilation, and now they unite forces again. The tune here is sophisticated (exactly such as 'Nasty Peach' track) and gives the legs a short rest but focusing hardly on the brain . Single word is summarize all eight minutes & eleven seconds - GROOVE !

    06. Presence

The sixth track has the lowest tempo comparing to the other album tracks, but don't even hope for relaxing tune - just the opposite. The mysterious beginning is indicate for the future minutes...prog attack ! "Presence" track is maybe kind of slow-motion full on, however the difference tiny but enormous - no full on track has this waves of vibes and atmosphere, this you could get just on low tempo. A deep storm of dust.

    07. M.a.r.s.

I hope the strong trippers survived the last track and they are ready to the new challenge. I like to use the "danceable" definition, and here I can't find any other word to describe you the mess, called "M.A.R.S", but - DANCABLE. Sometimes I'm have difficulty to understand how it's possible to get seriously digging from 130-135 BPM track, but once is a period, I'm hear to this kind of tracks and remind .

    08. The Light (With Lish)

Lior & Shay (Lish) drag Yoni to their state of melodies & emotions and the result is "The Light" track. Yoni is known as artist who like full power materials, but after six powerful tracks the body is must some serenity for recharge power. This track is magical in my opinion - super melodic, groovy and soft. The brake in the middle is almost makes my tears come out...so emotionally and smart - simply art. This variation is blessed.

Last, but surely not least, is "Exposed" track. Each celebration must end and Yoni closing it perfectly. It's a track without pressure or exaggerated power, just suitable for ending the album with taste for more.

Don't get me wrong, this is very far from chill out track, but the atmosphere is so warm as the comfortable feeling of chill-out tunes.

To sum it up, "Rebirth" is one of the best albums I've heard ever. You will not find even a single "filler" track (sometimes artist compromises and put in hs album average track for fill allotment). With this album, Yoni is based his self on the top list of the progressive acts around the globe and he prove that his brilliant releases in compilation were not coincidental. All I have to do is to thank Yoni and Iboga for release this album and let us the chance to enjoy some high quality music.

Psytrance fans, please make sure you listen this album and if u like it, just buy it.

  13. Hi All !

Decoy's debut album ("Not Responding to Light") was my first meeting with Dance N Dust records and that is why I'm thankful to this project. Now, after year and half, Ian Chaplin and Philip Rex (Australia) are back with their second studio album called 'Push Button Pony'. Decoy's style can categorized under "Progressive Trance" genre, but this specific music is very hard to describe with words. It's time to push the button and play it on...

    01. Fat Side Down

The opening is simply shining - packing with morning melodies and heavy kick. The atmosphere is super comfortable, because the slow tempo and the anxious groove. The soft melodies are on the air all the time and create a warm vibes. It's just impossible not connect this material and if you ask me - nothing is better than smiley introduction ;).

    02. Krosey

The second track is more Electro style influenced. When you listen to "Krosey" track, you get an interesting combination of Electro and down-tempo Progressive. I can't explain how, but this tune is going inside my heart and make me feel kind of sensitivity, which is completely wonderful. The most beautiful part here is starts on 04:20 with lovely playing and gradually developing until the big up on 06:20 - such a smart Electro moment !

    03. Wake In Fright

After two happy tracks, this is the right time to get deeper. "Wake In Fright" track is start with groovy kick from the first second and slowly it's growing to symphony of sounds including some sweet saxophone playing, which get support from chilling melodies and massive kick. for those who reading this lines, I'm highly recommend to put your stereo volume on maximum, close the eyes and fly with this unique piece of art.

    04. Push Button Pony

The first tracks are more suitable for alternative dance floors, but this track is direct to the main floor. "Push Button Pony" track is pure progressive-trance material - the groove is included, the vibes are evolving slowly and the most important thing - the track is always on progress. Brilliant !

    05. Spamburger

Track number five is mostly the hit of the cd, but regretfully this is not the case here. In my opinion, "Spamburger" track is an average tune without special moments or parts to remember. I had some difficulty to connect it, but you should try and check the responds.

    06. Nothing But The Truth

Here, the tempo is going a bit higher, but sill something is missing for me. Don't get me wrong - this track is fine & danceable sometimes, but I expect something slightly more different and special. I can't find any word to describe it other than - boring.

    07. Silly Sex

Now we back to business with "Silly Sex" track - the kick is fat, the effects are fitting well and there is a story to imagine. I really like the atmosphere, it's simply magical. Good job guys.

    08. Axis Mundi

Uniqueness is the name of the game. "Axis Mundi" track is a "sticky" track - the listener is must stick & focus on the track and simply flow with it. The vibes are so pleasant cause the beautiful melodies. The brake on the middle is maybe can't create dust storm in the dance floor, but it surely has the ability to make your brain work extra-hours :-).

    09. Ghost Kisser

What a positive way to close the album. "Ghost Kisser" tune is full of nice melodies and guitar riffs on down-tempo. It's a funky track with freestyle spirit.

  14. Symphonix continues what has to be continued. The big success of their debut album Music Prostitute is now extended by nine outstanding acts, serving you carefully selected remix-tunes.

Intelligent arrangements, saving the face of the original but being one step ahead, reordering dynamic structures and forming a multisided sonic story. A brilliant extension of a magnificent album.

  19. Nightvision is the new compilation from Avatar.

Ten exclusive and previously unreleased energetic cuts from some names whose albums came out on Avatar, like The Nommos, Psychoz and Toi Doi, and also Avatar's rising names Becoming.Intense and Overdream are here. In addition, tracks from oCeLoT and Parus. Most tracks here are fresh from the studio and have not been floating around, which means we think this album will be hugely popular. Some of the artists here present their new sounds from their forthcoming albums.

Becoming.Intense, our ambassador in Brazil, gives the opening shot with his wicked 'Near Extinction', a smooth tweaky night tune with nice pads. Toi Doi with his bass driven 'Contact', a roaring monster that comes out only in the dark oCeLoT, who speaks fluent alien with his '41 HZ', a full hypnotizing psychedelic flash, followed by his interesting collaboration with Parus and their power charged 'CircuitBreaker'. This one will surely go well in the party.

The brilliant first part of the 'Memento' Trilogy by Becoming.Intense. Overdream, who brings the latest innovative sounds from Ukraine with their 'Common Sense'. 'Accelerator' from oCeLoT, and the brand spanking new 'Tam Tam Magique' from The Nommos, with playfull tribal percussions. Hard to stay sluggish to this one Overdream with 'Shadow Theater', a tune with African influences. Last but not least is the pumping 'Man Creature' by Macedonian trance veteran Psychoz.

  21. Moksha Project - Sunset to sunset festival at the beach (14-15 September 2007)

Our mission can be explained in one word – MOKSHA! The word "Moksha" comes from the Sanskrit language and it means, basically, FREEDOM. In deep it is a level of meditation when body, mind & soul become one, liberating the spirit from the cycle of death and rebirth. For some it is known as NIRVANA.

In our events we try to create the best environment for people to feel this freedom and this contact to their inner selves, by choosing beautiful locations in the Nature and gathering open minded people to perform one of the oldest rituals of human kind: DANCE. In our events, we wish to see each and every one of you laughing, loving, and feeling comfortable with themselves and with the other people who came to celebrate and enjoy Mother Nature. We hope you can feel this spirit when dancing with us. In this particular event we want to take you with us to a higher point of MOKSHA. We put a lot of thinking, hard work & love to make it unforgetable. So come with us, with clear mind and open heart, to enjoy this mini festival.

Please take your stuff and lets go out to check what is cooking there beyond those promising names...

    Review :

    01. Symphonix - Spaceballs

Sirko & Stephan are preparing the ground and warm us well with their "Spaceballs" track. I can't explain it, but somehow this tune make me feel very convenient - there is no pressure or noisy effects, just pure flow with jumpy beats and lovely atmosphere. Symphonix project is signed on many dance floor bombs, but this time, they send us a calm and enjoyment track to chill and smile.

    02. Dualism vs Meeloo – I beg you

Lets jump one step forward with Raphael Dualism and Per Meeloo. Everything is still relaxed, but slowly it's growing and get closer to the dance floor. It's so easy to connect this material because the groove is nice, the kick is attractive and the atmosphere is very comfortable.

    03. Vaishiyas - Frogride

Hannes Klitta is the man for "friendly" progressive and he never disappoint me. So after two warming track, Vaishiyas is take control and rise up the tempo. I have kind of weakness to Hannes materials, since he is produce exactly what I look for - smiley beats and sweet groove. The only disadvantage of Vaishiyas music in my opinion is that sometimes it sound a bit boring, cause the same loop is back time after time without too much additions, but he has also very big advantage - his music is always positive and smiley, so when your mood is down try the "Frogride" medication.

    04. U Recken & Feuerhake – Fly to Gana

Now, we have an intersting combination of the offical dance floor stormer (U-Recken) and Mr. Stefan Feuerhake. They are offer a free fly to Gana to lets use it :-). The style here is not Yanniv's typical one, however it's a very speical piece. The track is opening with beautiful playing and developing to psychedelic prog mateiral. I really like the variation of it, this is not the regular progressive formula, but melodic tune influenced by different styles. It's feel like sunrise ceremony, good work.

    05. Snake Sedrik – Remember (Martin RMX)

Martin Knecht is half of Earsugar project (together with Capo). The powerful style of Martin is sensed from the begining, and the continuation is impossible to describe. I can just say it's a colorful track with magical melodies and rare atmosphere. Thank you Martin for journey in outer space.

    06. Odiseo - Questions

Ulises "Odiseo" Pascual has a difficult mission now - to keep the vibe alive after Martin's spectacular tune. He decided to turn it to the deep direction with slow bass line and less energy. Odiseo always has something happy and pumping in his music, but here this factor is missing. Regretfully "Questions" is not more than avarage track in my opinion and it's ashame because Ulises is one of me favorite acts.

    07. NOK - Tricolore

Alexander Dorkian aka NOK is the next to play. There is a known expression says that progressive is boring music and when I listen "Tricolore" track, I can understand where this sentence came from. I don't find here anything positive - there is no vibe, the track is actually dead all the way. My criticism is not something personal against the artist, because Alex has some excellent materials (like Fresh Remix), but this track is not my cup of tea at all.

    08. Human Traffic – Deep passion

When I saw the track list on the first time, this track was the most intersting for me, cause this guys got my credit with their lovely "Audiotune" album. "Deep passion" track is provide the expectations. I can't say it's their best track so far, but I really enjoy it.

    09. True Lies – Cold fever

The brothers, Sirko and Stephan, are closing circle with their other project - True Lies. When the end is come, the listerner is demand chilly track to calm down after exciting trip and thats exactly what we got from "Cold fever" tune. I'm recommend you to close the eyes and fly slowly with this track...
