=0) darkness is in your head you can take a little sample piece of the pope's latest speech, place it in a sampler slot and simply tweak it until you have the darkest and most twisted sound, cauz, i repeat, it is all in your head dude, =)

if you use Ableton Live for your performance you can use one of its native plugins called EQ3 which has a very similar sublow and lows equalization result as the RBass.

basically it is a wave sample based synthetizer, the aviable and mixeable waves to use as oscilators are pre recorded wave samples such as guitars, keyboards, strings and lots more. i dont know what you wanna know exactly, maybe if you specify a little bit more we can all help you. cheers and have a nice one!

Hey there Journey Man, this is for you, step by step, how Daniel (the artist in charge of the ilustration and design) managed to pull such a great design. http://www.danieligarza.com/howiwork2.htm and i would recommend you try the audio samples from the album, cauz this is not a 'very same style every track album', in fact the concept is closer to a compilation rather than an album.
