  1. So please reply and tell me what you think. I won't get mad. I don't care if you agree or disagree. I just want the interaction. And maybe if you do it, more people will do it and we can get some traffic in here.

I totally agree, it's nice to get a reply when you put time in to something. So far I have only written 1 not to large review but when I see that after 3 weeks or so I don't even have 1 view, it doesn't really motivate me to write more (either positive or negative ones). I know its not really fair coming out of the mouth of someone with just a few posts, but at least a view at a topic couldn't hurt at all. Then the people that write reviews at least know it's being looked at by 1 person!

About criticism: psychedelic music has many types and is huge all together. For instance, I am absolutely not a fan of Infected Mushroom just to name one. But someone ells who likes them, could hate Flegma & Nerso or Motion Drive. So for me to sit down and write a long review about how bad the latest Infected Mushroom album is, is not really a good idea. Same how I couldn't ask my neighbor who is in to Rock, to write a review about psytrance.

  2. If you like Atmos, Vibrasphere etc. I'm sure you will like Protonica. It is a more new style from Iono music but I know these guys got a lot of influences from Atmos, Human Blue etc when they started making progressive trance. By the way, I think 'Floating Free' from Vibrasphere is a killer song!

  3. Hey man, I don't know if this is what you mean but you might like it. I really enjoy Lyctum, this artist has a very psychedelic type of touch to his music. It's progressive but kind of on the darker side. It's everything but clubby! If you like it, check out the album: Lyctum - Tales Of The Universe.

I am also a big fan of Relativ, also from Serbia. He kind of maintains that original Goa feeling in to his music but produces progressive killers!

This one from Zen-Mechanics and M-Theory is full-on but it's very unique and might be what your looking for.

    Artist: Naes

    Title: Behind The Shadows

    Label: Uxmal Records

    Date: 14-04-2012

    Style: Progressive Trance

    Tracklist:

    1. Behind The Shadows (06:33)

    2. Flowers (06:58)

I discovered this EP a view months ago while going through some music that was just released at the time. Actually I didn't really know what to expect, other than that the cover of this album gave me a clean and smooth feeling. As soon as I started to play the music, I fell in love with it straight away. The first track 'Behind The Shadows', is a clear progressive bouncer with a lot of psychedelic background effects and echoes from time to time.

The style of Naes (Copenhagen, Denmark) is not everyday progressive, it could be described as deep progressive psychedelic trance and the track 'Flowers' is no different. The depth of the songs somehow reminds me of the older deep Scandinavian trance, but much faster with pumping baselines and newer background effects. Still the emotional trip the listener can go through during the song maintains the same.

These tracks are dance-floor killers, I'm sure of it. They are lively, keep bouncing but at the same time give you the opportunity to think over your thoughts while dreaming off to whichever positive place you can think of. It's totally worth buying!

  5. You are totally right. Iono music usually produces only the best of progressive and this is no exception. Time In Motion are great artist and this EP represents there style very well. If you enjoy the 'Dreamscape' track, check out: 'Time In Motion - Dreamscape (Ecliptic remix)'. It really has a nice Ecliptic touch to it!
