When I started listening to goa trance about 4 years ago, I heard both his albums Parasite and Digital Mandala. I thought it was quality fullon and still like some tracks when I listen to them today. But I think his earlier releases are a lot better! I have Stingray and The Shepherd (both on VA - Primitive Dawn) and Detonator. I really like those melodies, although the structure sounds a little bit too fullony for me.
So now I wonder, did he produce any goa trance before, or around 1999? I think I read something about unreleased tracks, but I'm not sure.
Does anyone know more about this?

Basilisk has them too + 3 other tracksSo can we have those tracks too Digitalys and Kasper?? I realy like more crazy tracks from this fantastic project
tnx ahead
Let's wait what Kasper says. Maybe he can release them himself, or he can give permission for us to share them

When Twist Dreams was released, I heard Momentary 29 almost every week on parties here in Belgium great track! Thanks for sharing this!
-
I have Ojas Shakti, Om Mani Padme Hum and Lightswitch too. They also deserve being released, I like Ojas Shakti and Om Mani Padme Hum just as much as I like your album. :clapping:
I looked through some old archives and found a few more Psylent Buddhi MP3s in 128-160k quality:
Ripply
Lightswitch
The Mind Trick
Noon Spectre
Ojas Shakti (Comdis Mix)
Om Mani Padme Hum
Need any of these?
I also have Secrets Of The Atom in unmastered 16-bit WAV somewhere or another (I played that at a few parties back in the day)... in case that one was lost too.

That was me I heard it in Anoebis' set and I really wanted to hear more of your music. I googled your name a few times and searched on pvp and found you after half a year on some forum, what was it called again? Thanks again for sending me those tracks back then! I listen to them every week. I think Moksha and Convergent Images are the best tracks on your album. I also like Secrets of the Atom, very chaotic!@Anoebis - That's great to hear Anoebis. Someone told me once that they've heard a track of mine in a set you made available online. I thought that was very cool. Thanks! I'll definitely keep you in mind if I ever get around to making some goatrance again. I have several stranded tracks which I've never been able to see through due to lack of time or other projects with a higher priority. Perhaps it's time to review my priorities.
I hope you'll make more goa trance in the future. You have a unique sound.
-
Wow, this is big news
I contacted Kasper half a year ago to ask about his goa tracks and he sent me a few, also in mp3 format. I heard Convergent Images and Moksha in one of Anoebis' sets. Nice to see that he now released them Too bad he doesn't have the full quality files anymore.
I hope he gets back to producing goa trance again!

2€50 per CD unless another ammount is displayed next to the cd?
-
Yup, some nice tracks are mentioned here
Definetly the old Swedisch style, BOTFB and Ka Sol are perfect examples also Schlabbaduerst compilations (I only heard 3 of them) --> Zoon is very psychotic too!
Slide also, indeed especially the track Unstable, I play it in almost all of my sets
Psychaos - Mindwash!!
btw, does anyone know where I can buy (or hear) ECT - Maelstrom / Next Stop Earth EP ?? I would liek to know how it sounds.. is it as good as the Mr. Jolly / Helpless EP?
-
I started this thread on psychedelic.be too, but didn't get much reaction.
What are the most psychotic oldskool tracks / artists you know?
I mean deep, intense, dark, psychotic (even evil) melodies.
Examples:
- Toi Doi - Technologic (Album) Especially Nuage d'Encens, Replicant, D'Eden Space sound very psychotic and spaced out to me!
- Paranoize - Monopolys (Ok, this track is not that great, sounds a bit shallow, but I like this type of melody!)
- ECT - Helpless (THE example )
- Shaolin Wooden Men - Remember the Slime
shoot!

That's what I was afraid ofKa SoL are defo oldschool, they've got tracks dating back to late 90's which sound pretty much like BotFB but more trippy and having this weird mystical fairytale theme in them, somehow.
Parahalu are Hungarian.
Other class Swedish acts from the good ol' days would be Hux Flux & Logic Bomb (obviously),old Miraculix (Motions Potions,Dr. Tripper etc),Little Blue Men,Weirdo Beardo,Procs,Steptime,Trashlods (yeah i used to like em),Kluster .... and many many others releasing trakcs mostly in compilations. But if you are looking for acts similar to Ka SoL and BoTFB ,you failed
I only know the Ka Sol tracks on Schlabbaduerst and have his 2 solo albums Fairytale and Gohst Stories.
Thanks for the other tips! didn't know Hux Flux and Logic Bomb were Swedish...
I'll check out saikosound and discogs for those other names
-
Yes, another forest trance topic!
I really like this swedish style, but I only know the "biggest" names in this scene and would like to know more about this music. The way I see it, there are 3 "kinds" of artists:
- Oldskool swedisch style: Schlabbaduerst compilations, Battle of the Future Buddhas
- "Newskool" swedisch style: Ka Sol
- Dark swedish style: Derango, Wizack Twizack, Para Halu
never mind the style names, just invented that so I could ask you about more artists in the same directions..
So can someone name me some older Forest trance artists? and newer?
-
I don't know if anyone mentioned
Todra - Figure of Sound ?
dark hypnotising goa trance with melodies coming out of nowhere! :clapping:
-
heheh kben ontmaskerd
I must have overlooked the dj section.. checking it out right now
-
yup, already have that onefor a wacko set, check:
http://www.psychedelic.be/v2/content/view/60/45/
or otherwise, there is a dj section here, LOTS and LOTS of old school sets there! enjoy!
hebt ge daar soms genen tracklist meer van liggen?
de gonzoebis mix is anders ook wacko te noemen.. heheh
hebt ge daar genen tracklist van?? (kidding )
grtz ;-)
-
Hey, I'm looking for oldschool dj sets (with tracklist, preferably). I checked the other dj set topic that already existed here, but couldn't really find oldschool mix sets..
I'm aiming for wacko acid sets, but morning trance is also welcome!
-
Yeah Tiny Little Engines is a very nice trackWoow, Tiny Little Engines must be one of the best tracks ever... Wizardry of the Ooz was the first cd that brought me into the finnish style
Anyway, the Kavator releases are definately your style, Psychoactive Scandosounds 1 and 2, of course als Schlabs and check first Kluster as well
so is Psycho Disko - Nobody! Amazing sound, but the constant "No...No...Nobody" is a bit annoying if you ask me
-
I did, but I'm not really looking for that sound (although that is about the most deep and psychedelic forest music if u ask me)No one's mentioned "Derango' in here?
I'm looking for tracks with an oldskool touch (sounds)
wow, thx for the tip! sounds a bit like Hacking the Reality Myth, same artists.. but none of the nrs are really good imo. Some nice sounds though, thx
-
that's not what I mean, but I really like the samples! thx some nice dark psyI haven't heard the full length CD yet only samples...
but u should try to give VA - Amonit People (Organic Alchemy Records) a listen.
Yes, I have No Possible Sounds and I love it too especially track 2, 4 and 9!V.A. Beats & Beyond (2000)
Squaremeat- Wave Soup (2000)
Flying Scorpions- Lippotena Cervi (2003)
...And eventhough it's not that old, and I reckon you might have it, try out last year's beautiful V.A. No Possible Soundz... I am officially in love with that compilation!
I don't really like the other albums u mentioned, they are too funky.. I rly don't like those funky sounds, but some of those artists have a few darkish tracks with a good drive and spaced out sounds.. I'm looking for those tracks
-
yoo PsywareVa - Hacking the myth reality
this is dark suomi from 1996 which is very close to goatrance, but still spugedelic
I believe it is released on Psy-Harmonics
tis Psytek heheh..
I already hae that album, thx for the tip again!
-
Hey I'm looking for some more dark suomi sounds.. which is hard to find! Or maybe some older Swedish artists too?
like...
Eraser VS Yojalka - Round One (album)
Egosentrifug - Horizon Tall & Oxygen Corridor
Flying Scorpions - Jet Pilot & Metafora
Masatronics
Ka Sol
Battle of the Future Buddhas
so.. I prefer the tracks who are close to the oldskool goa sound, not stuff like Derango, Wizack Twizack or Scozbor (but tips in this direction are also welcome )
-
Yes, the cd's have just arrived, in good condition, thanx!!
