Haha, that was my set
The track you mean is Neptune - Beyond Gravity (Israel Psychedelic Trance 4) followed by Amanite FX - Alfalfa
Ha, i knew I had to have it somewhere, sounded way to familiar
-
Whoa, that takes me back! :posford:
Can't help you with the track name though, but it sounds very familiar.
But on a more important note: How are you Steven? Long time no see ey.

3. Dune- Hardcore Vibes
You just have to like that Mickey Mouse Voice singing about the Hardcore Vibes, hehe, and dont forget "This one is dedicated to all the ravers in the nation"
Hah, i'm just listening to the Xanopticon Remix of this epic tune, it's called Elfuckin vibes and it's awesome :posford:
-
heyhey for chopped vocals i can strongly recommend
Radiotrance - Plasma
Texas Faggot - Hector Sector
Breakcore:
Sickboy - Bohemian Crapsody
Droon - Cripplefight
-
+1The Answer is one of the best tracks ever
-
I would recommend:
Gas - Pop (very organic sounding beatless ambient, quite monotonous)
Pete Namlook & Bill Lasswell - Psychonavigation series (3 is the best imo)
Biosphere - Substrata
Secede - Tryshasla (warm and fuzzy, some beatless tracks)
-
Oh yeah I like Etnoscope as well
and thanks for the input guys!
Has anybody heard some old skool tribal? I think I have heard some old Juno that was kind of tribal... and of course some Elysium. But other than that I can't remember??!
checking out whats been suggested
Medicine drum maybe
-
Scatterbrain - Infernal Angel (allready a classic imo)
Psykovsky - Debut
Artifakt - ArtifaktsII
Cosma - Non Stop (personal favorite)
Derango - Tumult
VA - Apsara
...
-
lawl, i just found the last 2 cds of this
they're pretty banged up, but play without a skip! :posford:
Yup, also got that one for the psygone disc (5 euros)

X-Dream - No
-
Received my order friday:
Goasia - From other spaces
Transwave - Backfire
And for the fullon i decided to keep it south african:
Artifakt - Artifakts II (now playing :posford: )
VA - Future Cuts
Multistate - Collaborating with machines
Really great mind bending stuff, thanks for the recommendations all!
-
I would have to say IM - unbalanced
-
imo, best in that genre:
Tim schuldt
Four carry nuts
Cydonia
Exactly wat I was thinking!
+ Phreaky (tornado, over the moon)
-
Holy shit Ormion!! Cornyness overload

Well, you got one right with Artifakts II. Stunning album! My advice would be to check out Loud - Some Kind of Creativity (love it!) and if you want more "power" driven Hujaboy - Black Belt. I think Pitch Hikers - Sting and Error Corrective - Fade Instinct could be something worthwhile too. And don't forget Principles of Flight - Night Time Lullabies.
Good luck!
I'll check those out for sure, thanks. The principles of flight album i allready have and it's a great album indeet

The Goasia album is released so I guess it's time to order some cd's again.
And ever since Logic Bomb released the wonderfull Sonic Algebra album my faith in full on is restored somewhat so i want to order some full on albums this time.
Since I don't want to waste my money on mediocre stuff and i don't have time to go through all the reviews i thought i'd ask some professional psynews advice.
So were there any stand out releases I should know about in, say, the last 2 to 3 years. I allready put on my list: AMD - Big Fish and Artifakt - Artifacts II.
Thanx

50cm² room!?I like GMS, it hasn´t the typical rolling basslines but some very hard basslines and winterish sounding sounds, it´s quite fun to listen to GMs extremly loud, so loud that my doors and my dishes make noises from the powerful Logitech subwoofer altough the room is 50 cm2.
Welcome back btw :clapping:

A lot of shit ones too. The one I looked up yesterday when I installed youtube that was decent was:
It has an electronic music focus as well. Seriously so many reason tutorials with black guys who are like "yo sup I'm gonna show ya how to get some reason hip and a hop beats". I wouldn't suggest any of them.
Thanks, those video's are really helpfull.

Great site, thanks nemo

So i've installed reason 3.0 yesterday (got it free, working in an audio shop has its advantages, yay) and I'm looking for some kind of good basic video tutorial, something to get me started.
Any recommendations?

I get your point and i don't like extremely noisy and overly radom stuff either, but in my opinion this can be awesome if executed correctly.
For example: Hrvatski - Swarm & Dither finds the perfect balance: it is noisy and no beat sequence is heard twice in one song but still you have the feeling you are listening to a cohesive song instead of a random cutup of beats and noises.
