Scatterbrain - Floating Jesus?
ps: Paul Oakenfold is not the guy we are looking for
Almost... its Mexican Jesus
But he sure is floating down the river!
-
2? I know Steve Eli wrote some tracks with Lestat...
Which (former) goa artist wrote some tracks for DJ Tiesto?
Paul Oakenfold maybe?
Q: What psy track has one long vocal sample that covers almost the entire length of the track?

future sound of london

Tomaz vs. Filterheadz - Latin Loopworks
Also Buscemi has a lot of Latin influenced tracks, but it's not straight techno, more house/funky, but tasty nonetheless.

Nice one

Anne Clark - Wallies (Night of the hunter remix by Juno Reactor)

This one for me : Kenji Kawai - Voyage To Avalon
He also made score for Ghost in te Shell no?

Can't remember the artist right now. But there was this dark psy album cover that scares the shit out of me (or used to anyway). It had some sort of skull or face on it. And the music =
I know everyone's heard of him but my brain's kinda laggin atm.
After the first time, it's kind of fun to listen it again.

Masterpiece. Also check his collaboration with Coil.
Regarding the topic: I'm kinda interested in every extreme music-style, be it very minimal, very fast or whatever. The only thing I need is some sort of artistic approach to it and complexity. That's why I really love Venetian Snares' gabberish tunes (ie. the album "Winnipeg Is A Frozen Shithole"), whereas I can't stand any Happy Hardcore or Rotterdam Terror whatever stuff.
+1
BTW:
If you like the Winnipeg album check out the Ladyscraper album on this page, it's awesome and free! Some of the other stuff is also worth a listen (vexkiddy, 2006 compilation,...)

Breakcore actually. BTW - have to buy their DOLL DOLL DOLL album.
One of the darkest atmosphere albums i own. The samples are really disturbing. The music mostly gives me a headache though

Can we also discuss non-electronic music here??

for fast hard-hitting dnb check out
Evol Intent - Era of Diversion (A+ Album)
Or in the same genre: Limewax / Tecnical Itch / B Key / Counterstrike / SPL /
Some Nice Breakbeat in the vein of Prodigy: Aquasksky vs Masterblaster

Milanese
Boxcutter - oneiric and glyphic
Vex'd
Kode 9
Disrupt - Foundation Bit
Skream

:clapping: Oh sweet! If they come to Belgium i'll check them out for sure. FSOL must be my alltime favorite electronic band, their music is just out of this world.
-
Their first trust in trance albums is still one of my all time favorites.
-
Front 242 - P.U.L.S.E.
At first listen I was skeptical (I only knew Work 242 before that), but this one is actually a damn good album ... the synths are screaming, kranky and addictive! Lots of energy in the sound, a firework for my senses - and a totally different one as I know it from characteristical psy music, it's sharper, more concentrated and energetic, I really love that!
Awesome album

The Mars Volta - Amputechture
Cracy

I think he should take this guy as an apprentice, he could use some extra skills imo.

Total Eclipse- The furnace (chaos!!!)

MFG - We are the machines
Talamasca - Sinaï
Pleiadians - Maia
Astral Projection - Trust in Trance (complete album, still one of my favorites)

Fuck yeah!

Thanks for all the suggestions guys, I'll have my work checking them all out. BOTFB is indeed cracy but I allready own both albums. That olien album sounds really interesting also i think i'll give the new Trold a try. Great list btw basilisk, i think some of the albums the tracks are taken from must be really nice.
I'll definately have a listen to the furious album too since a lot of people are raving about it. I'm not so keen of ultra high bpm's but maybe i'll like this one

I've been listening to my Derango and G.O.W. vs Meteloids albums again and i forgot how fucking awesome this music really is. Can you recommend me some albums in the same style (maby some recent parvati or trishula releases worth checking out) Intelligent dark with a high psychedelic level.
