  1. Happens to me as well. Here's a tip: When you have a project with sampler channels and you want to make sure you never loose those samples, save the project via File > Save as and select "Zipped Loop File" next to the "Save as Type" section. This will pack all the samples you're using including the .flp file into a zip file. FL can open zip's stored this way, you don't have to extract them or anything. This does not save any samples used by VSTs tho (like Kontakt or Battery).

Is there any options that FL doesnt have? :D
  2. Hi all

I had to do a serious back up mission recently as my hard disk started showing problem. I put all the files in several DVDs and formatted the disk. Later when I sat for remixing one old track I found some of my samples( a snare pack) and the original track in wav format is missing.

I have the project in FL format. When I open the project I see some of the samples are missing. Most important is this snare sample SNAR_10F

I am sure that many of u guys will have that snare pack that contain that Old-schoolish snare. It will be really helpful if you people do a search in ur 'samples' folder for this SNAR_10F :) .

Hop u wont have problem to share it if u find it ;)

The snare can be heard in the track <Rudram> here

  3. I don't agree tbh.

Of course in more clubby friendly psy parties where all the music is either poppy full on or metrosexual progressive it may be true. :D

Thats one thing about new psytrance scenes. It is 2010. old hippies are all died. Now u can find more of 100microGms guys n Beer drinking girls. I think It has to do something with music also.Fullon feels more like house(Although dont sounds alike) Many times I sit wondering "Where is the TRANCE in new psytrance?"
  4. check isratrance forum.

There are a few topics with kicks uploaded. Might be something for you in there. Otherwise there is more people checking the production forum. So more chance of getting a good answer.

Yes.. there was a post here in psynews about kick sample and somebody had posted a link to a massive kick sample pack in isratrance(Collected by the people three) (also lots of good snares if I remember correctly)

Does any one know this link or the post in here?. I am not getting it even after a long search :(

  5. No, I didn't mean that my own unmastered music sounds different from commercial music. I mean I can for example play my wav file in an mp3 player like winamp or qcd player or windows media player, then i go and listen to the same wave file on my portable cd player or my home dvd system and it really is faster. Maybe it has something to do with the track not being mastered. Or maybe I have a soundcard issue of some sort..

I'll try comparing the track in winamp and the original project file in the sequencer and I'll report here. Maybe it's just a problem with my drivers..

this is bcos of the difference in speakers. u might have off beat Hihat in ur track right? when u play ur track in other system the hi frequency is coming out more n Hi hat is more visible or highlitened. when the hihat is more visible after the kick we feel like tempo is more, when it is less in volume it feels slower to or brain
