  1. judging from the samples alone i'd say it could be enjoyable..

sounds very well done, good production, cool basslines... and good atmospheres.

this would be cool to listen driving home from a festival on an acid comedown.

might be a bit too weird at a party for most people's tastes tho...

  2. worst "psy" ever.

I don't know what makes isrealis think they can sing english.

The lyrics are fucking horrible and the accent is not exactly... pleasant.

Duvdev proved just how bad it could be, but this CD is like everything

that went wrong with infected + fullon in the past few years, in one package,

    minus any redeeming qualities.

psyreviews recommends stealing this album, but it's not even worth the effort.

  3. Tickets is Phyx's younger brother.

They have a project together called Brethern.

He used to sell tickets at timecode parties, I think that's where his name comes from.

  4. And he's definately not pretentious.

He's a fucking cool guy, very humble and he plays a big part in the local scene.

He's played at some of my friends parties for free, just to help them promote it.

If you don't like the CD, great, but there's no reason to make assumtions

about his character or intentions, because chances are you don't have a clue.

I like the idea of symbols for names, it's better than the majority of cheesy

and/or lame track names. I swear there must be a million tracks called

Hyper Blastoff or Turbokinetic Frequency horshit.

  5. I was gonna write a long ass review but then I read yours DP.

That's pretty much exactly how I feel.

I've seen Artifakt live more times than I can remember, cuz he's

so involved in the scene in SA, but everytime he plays he tears

trancefloors apart. He's something special, to say the very least.

I think this album is maybe a bit less experimental than his first,

but I like it more. His style is much more refined and you can

hear that he worked long and hard on this. There's some awesome

ideas and concepts that he pulls off through his tunes and he

    always adds a unique twist.

For me this is an instant classic.

    ..

  6. Hey man I like your melodies in kenosis.

i like the part starting at 1:54 most. good layers, very psychedelic.

the vocal sample in the beginning is the only part that i dont like.

it sounds too much like hard house or club music, but i like the

    wacky melody that follows it.

i also like the bassline, i think it suits the song fine. a complex KBBB

bassline wouldn't work too well at this speed anyway.

overall i think its original stuff..

what program /synths did u use?

  7. Wow i cant believe people are still talking about the basslines.

It's probably the least important part of this release.. shows u how

many people actually "get" this kinda music.

to all the full on bunnies that say these basslines are boring, try finding

anything that sounds like Fnatt or Poisnonous Square.

and please don't listen to this album in your $2 car stereo and complain

that it sounds shit. you need a lot of power to process most of the

frequencies. poisonous square for example sounds like

shit on small systems. it sounds fucking ridiculous on mine though.

this is one of the most complex and well made psy albums i've ever heard

and it really sucks that people have bullshit complaints about the basslines.

  8. Well 'when you listen to it on monitors the basslines sound awesome.

Poisonous Square has one of the most gut wrenching basslines ive heard in a long time.

listen to the way the notes change.. its quite trippy.

but even the droning monotonous basslines i like because its

moody and dark and i can appreciate the effort that they put into their sound.

  9. Finally got this CD..

As a melody lover I'm not that much into dark noisy psy,

but I have to say this is a belter...

They obviously know their shit, the production is really good,

the songs are all different and unique but it flows very well...

Listening to this on psychedelics would be one hell of a trip,

music designed to melt your brain.. great stuff

  10. I saw shift last weekend and he definately does not make candy rave tunes.

I don't like excessions either, but his live act is killer.

His style is more hard than dark, but it's definately night music

and he always rips the place apart.

Artifakt is also doing some crazy dark-ish tunes..

check out Nosferatu on Timecode - The Turning and any

of his recent shit. He's doing a lot over here in SA and

    I think he's got a únique style..

Derango are making a different style of music.

It's DARK and crazy, maybe a bit too dark and crazy for most parties...

    but definately wicked

  11. Hi

Ive been making tunes for about a year, starting with FruityLoops

and now using Cubase/Ableton LIVE and Reason.

I still don't have a distinct style, but I like making dark tunes most.

Crypsis is one of my newer although sloppier tunes, but I like it

because it has alot of creepy sounds.. It's only a short sample,

that version of the song was only a couple hours old when I posted

it, but the first minute and a half is quite complete... sortof..

    All feedback is appreciated

  12. The samples sound interesting, especially the first one,

but Mozart Firefox sounds fucking incoherent.

I know dark is synonomous with incoherence and chaos,

    but this is brutal.

I hope the full song is more interesting.

The sample is a drone with a couple of high pitched noises.

    not my idea of psychedelic.
