  1. what a list !!!! :o

and even dimension 5 - transdimensional, that must have been one expensive purchase !!

anyways, a lot of listening pleasure ;)

Cheaper than my last copy which I sold to senobyte - I paid 9.50 USD for a mint condition/new copy of it, this one is slightly worse off, but very very minor marks, only noticable under a light. Inserts are mint. I hate the cover art for this album, it's ghey! BUT whatever! All for....$7.85 with shipping this time around!

I said I'd do it :-P and I did it.

  2. i still like it

interesting people are still comparing it to their old stuff

    come on people

these guys are half of the original pleiadians, they have the name

and they are using it to make the music they want to make, and probably doing quite well from it!

whether you like it or not is a matter of taste and style i guess, anyone here who knows me knows my extreme diversity of styles so i was gonna like it probably regardless.

    but do genuinley like it.

there is heaps of full on and dark psy out there that i don't like.

so anyone out there who isn't gonna listen to it because of the bad feedback should, so at least you can find out yourself.

if i listened to all the negativity here and other places in the last 10 years of listening to this genre i wouldn' t have half the albums i own

    thanks

In all fairness to those who dislike it, you did ask ;) if anyone cared. You got what you asked for Mister P ;)

Anyways, I won't buy it because well, that's just me. I am not a big Pleiadians fan at all, IFO family of Light, etc. I am not too thrilled with. I have always had a heart for Time Dilation though! Seckzi track!

  3. I am quite sure our friend Niobium who I have not seen around ?!? had acquired a copy of this very same album through purchase from a cheap CD seller on eBay back at the beginning of the year. We both had some marvelous finds for less than 10 dollars from the same seller.

Maybe if he's still around lurking, he could fill everyone in?

    Mike? :)

  5. So people that hoard stuff are "weaker" minded? I'm not being sarcastic or trying to attack you. When you think about it

there may be some truth in that.

Wow nice way to zing the poor fuckar :) I don't think he meant much harm. He was just surprised since he didn't know your situation unless of course he drank too much of Italian wine :)

I'd argue that since there was a Cryptic Crunch re-issue by Avatar there are more of those floating around than Cassandra's Nightmare. The thing is Cryptic Crynch is a cult classic and highly valuable in collectors circles. Cassandra's nightmare is of course sought after but it does not have the same status as the first Hux Flux album.

Well, regardless of worth, collectors value, etc, etc, I did fetch $175 for a copy of Cassandra's Nightmare. That was satisfying because I bought two more copies and a whole ton of other CDs with the money and I still have over 100 bucks left, but I transferred it to my bank account for other things (well, 50 of it) the other 50 is sitting in paypal waiting to buy more CDs. So, whatever the case may be, I'm going to find the CDs I want quickly, easily, and cheap. That's how we do things, yeah?

Regarding the weaker mind attitude, no. I am just stating that *I* know what I want and I don't want to own everything from every label :-P That's all. It had no direct implication on any one else there who hoards things. ;) Why does it seem that one out of every 5 for sale/trade threads turns into an argument about music trading/buying? I'll never get it. But I bet within a month I will have me a copy of Cryptic Crunch's original release for less than 20 bucks, bet.

  6. Man, I was going to purchase one with the modgrip just so I could stand up and look cool, fuck. now you'll laugh at me :~( oh well. maybe i'll just hide a 2x4 behind the modgrip that way when you laugh, i beat you guys bloody heeeeeheeeee. that picture is funny though ;)

  7. ehm.. xenomorph is not as rare as the albums you mentioned.. plus.. i seen you are buying back goa.. why so? what has happened?

i mean seems a little strange after u sold them all!

To know my situation would to understand. I guess since I have to keep explaining this over and over to people, I'll do it for you too ;). I left my ex, I needed money for an attorney, we have a kid together, my son is more important. I had no job, I was a stay at home dad. No income meant no money meant I had to sell my most valuable items, my telescopes and my music collection. I still have my records because who wants those anyways? They're just records. But I parted ways with my CDs. I am grounded now, I have a very rewarding job (making bullets that kill people in war, oh yeah!) and the pay is satisfactory and thus I am able to get onward in life again.

Now as for rarity, I don't know, I don't have a press listing sitting in front of me from every record label for every album. I am not aiming to collect music this time around, but I just want what I will keep and cherish and listen to, period. I am far less materialistic these days, the last 8 months have made me a much stronger person spiritually and well, mentally. I see no point in hoarding this time around as in the past. I know what I want, despite it's rarity, it's value, and how much people pay for it. If you wish to critique me further, feel free to. I suppose I am not elite enough to partake in the buying of music anymore since I sold my entire collection though, as you seem to put it so elegantly. =]

    Whatever!

    -d

P.S. I oughta ask you since you know, how many copies of Hux Flux's Cryptic Crunch were made? How many copies of Cassandra's Nightmare were made? Tell me this and I may agree with you, until then, I think they are equally a fair trade.

  8. 1. Stop Killing the Animals You Stupid Fucks II

I am sorry, but someone has to say it. This is totally appalling and in itself brings horrible marketing to the album. Number one, it's directing "Stupid Fucks" towards the entire mass of psytrance nerds worldwide. Number two, I don't care for PETA and I am sure many others don't either. Number three, I really don't know what this song is about, nor do I even care to find out. In fact, I don't even want to hear the album because of this.

I *highly* suggest the person who did this track in your group be a little more cautious and understanding that we're not all Stupid Fucks and that meat eaters are okay and that killing animals can also be highly rewarding in populated areas. You'll have to work on targeting a broad range of people, and not just two percent if you're going to have this album make it anywhere. Just my two cents and I am not trying to be insulting, I just feel INSULTED.

  9. Okay, I hate to brag and all, but I have three copies of Cassandra's Nightmare at my disposal, well, two after one gets sent out. I just bought the last two off a guy for $25.50 USD total including shipping, both minty fresh. Well, wrong forum, but because this was a post in regards to my selling a copy for a 175 dollars, well, I would like to trade the available copy for something of equal rarity like the above, darshan's awakening, hux flux cryptic crunch, or something melodic? Any offers will be considered. Please be fair, and noooo- I am not asking for a value of $175 dollars, not at all. But I would like one of the two above for sure, or something else. ;)

    Aaron

  10. I'll mention it when I talk to him tomorrow, see if he has any copies floating round. ;)

Thanks. Afterwards, I just may retire from buying music then. Heh, I really love that album. There's something so elegant with it's listening that makes me comforted when chilling on a couch, doing absolutely nothing. It's great.

Anyways, I added you on myspace, only because you were left out. :(

    Aaron

  11. How much would you pay for a mint, unplayed copy? I don't know if he's got any left but it might be worth asking. Might even be able to get it signed as well, if that kind of thing floats your boat.

Colin, heehee. Stop being tempting. I'll trade you a copy of A Live for it? Hahaha. Just kidding. Anyways, I guess I would max my offering out at $45.00 only if it were signed with love to me! Hahaha. ;>

    Aaron

  12. lol yes dude it was a nice deal there.nice for you :)

btw i wasn't "dissin on you yo", just saying my opinion

yo! I know, I didn't mean to quote you. I was just joking with that statement. Hahah, I am pretty giddy over the whole deal. I mean come on, let's see:

    I sell a cd for $175.00

I buy Qlippoth Sealed for $22.00

I buy ANOTHER copy of Cassandra's Nightmare for $19.00

    That's a total of $41.00

    Subtracted from $175.00

I made essentially $134.00 from absolutely nothing. Now if only I could find a copy of Darshan's Awakening for under 25 :( then I'd be happy and quit buying music for awhile.

    Aaron

  13. Oh, also I don't think I've spent more than 20 dollars on a CD that has netted me 50 dollars plus in profit on many occasions. ;) Why is that? Because I don't shop through collectors, I go straight to the record stores all around the world who haven't any idea other than to make a 4 dollar profit or so on the disc. It's a simple process. It is a rarity these days on ebay. I remember in one week, I watched 4 copies of IFO go for 5.99USD through buy it nows through the same seller. I missed every one of those.

I bought Dimension 5 - Transdimensional through using FROOGLE.COM after reading about froogle.com on slashdot.org awhile back. I paid 7 dollars plus 2.50 shipping and handling. It was new. I later sold it to senobyte due to financial struggles and leaving my ex and getting an attorney for my son and custody.

When you learn the system, it becomes easy. I was never able to locate Cassandra's Nightmare for less than 50 USD, and I refuse to pay again, anything above 25 dollars. I paid some heavy prices during my record collecting days and I am not about to repeat that now or ever into the future with CDs. I know where to look and how to acquire 100 rare CDs in a couple of months :) than to sit back and use eBay as my only goa source and pay 40-100-200-300 a CD. That's just plain sick, but I don't think anything is wrong with it at all so long as you can meet your living financial obligations in life.

The thing with money is, I know my limits. If I had won 20million dollars, believe me, you all would suffer, I'd own every psytrance thing period, without anyone else getting a copy, period period period. Some people out there have a lot more money than others. I just bought a house for 170k USD, and that is more meaningful to me than spending 100 dollars per CD ;) when I know I will find that same CD later for 85 dollars less. It's impulse buying, people don't know to control the function of their brain. Oh, and it's just music. I hear music in my head all day. I hum, I fart, I burp, and all sorts of weird noises come out. I call them extremely psychedelic. So, either way, if I am buying music or not, I still have the music in my ears!

Okay, I'm done ranting, now be conscious of your money, if you don't have tons. Otherwise, do it your way and spend millions, but remember, it's not so much an investment anymore when you pay more than 25 bucks an album, but moretheless a likely loss and thus a keeper until the aforementioned CD ROT kicks your ass. Hahaha!

    Love and light,

    Aaron

EDIT ADD: By the way, when I saw the last thing that had been written to was titled wtf and by technosomy ;))))) I don't usually read these sort of topics, as I really don't read MANY topics here, but I knew this was relating to me. Strange fiber-wire psychic connections. Call me the techno-shaman! yEAH!

  14. it's a great album imo,but not worth that much money (imo again)

Hey, quit dissin on me yo. I made 175 bucks from an 18 dollar with shipping purchase ;) I said I was not going to sell it except for a super high price. I know it's not worth 175, but if someone really wants it they're going to have to pay for it, hahahaha. Well, anyways, the great thing is, I still have a copy because I just secured another copy plus a copy of qlippoth, which now I think I'm going to not trade it and keep it instead.

So, hah! hah! hah! Is a cd worth it to you? I won't pay more than 25 bucks for a CD ;). But I'll sell em for a lot more if someone's willing to pay for it, heehee.

    Aaron

  15. Xenomorph - Qlippoth Sealed

I put up Cassandra's Nightmare for sale, but at an uberly high price. I am not desperate to get rid of it, but for the right extreme price (who the hell would pay that much for a cd anyways) I would part with it. ;)

Anyways, people in Germany have the best deals, but they also do the worst advertising of Matsuri released CDs =[ Meaning be careful, they'll write you back confirming it is the actual Matsuri Release when you ask for the release code (MP CD05 ETC) but without saying the release code, and then you buy it, and get it in the mail to only get the latest and greatest SPV release :( ugh. You have been warned!
