You´re right, tracks like Deranger or horrorgramm let me think that i´am outside and it´s night, but tracks like hallucinogen LSD or Fluoro neuro shponge or astral projection mahadeva let me think that i´am outside and i´ts in day, especially LSd or ayahuasca new Moon
let me think that i´am outside and it´s sunshine, and this aren´t the remindings that i have because i was outside if i´ve listened the track first time, no the synths and the whole track give an atmopshere that you think you are outside, and near all people i know think that they are outside if they listen to psytrance, if you are really outside and listen psytrance that´s much better, or if you are in mountains and listen psytrance, for example you drive through mountains and listen LSD, or my god what for feelings. If psytrance wouldn´t give me the feeling that í´am outside i wouldn´t like psytrance so much. -
I´am wondering what strange feelings you get of psytrance, do noone get the for me standart psytrance feeling? The feeling is just that you think you are outside and it´s sunny outside, do psytrance not bring you outside? Many people which i´ve asked have said that psytrance3 brings them outside, too.

It depends largely on the tune and my frame of mind but psy always produces images in my mind from which different emotions flow.
Sometimes psy paints pictures of deserts, mountains and lakes in my mind, other times it's planets, comets, galaxies and other celestial objects. If it's a very technical, futuristic and 'bleepy' track then I picture spaceships, robots and alien technology. At times I imagine flowers blossoming and blooming (like you see on nature shows that use time capture). If it's a dark and mysterious track I often visualise misty forests or ancient and sacred buildings.
In regards to Hallucinogen, my favourite tracks of his tend to bring elves, goblins, fairies, pixies and other Tolkien-esq creatures to mind. I picture them getting up to mischief at the bottom of my garden. Dunno why.
What are goblins? I don´t know that at all.

What feelings do you get if you listen psytrance, if i listen hallucinogen stuff like lsd/fluoro neuro shponge i always think i ám outside and it is summer, my cousin has told me that if she listen lsd and so she gets remindet on summer, too. What are your feelings with psytrance?

I disagree.
I probably appreciate and respect Posford as much as you (I'm just a bit quieter about it) but don't feel it was his melodies that made the Hallucinogen Remix album great. On the contrary I feel it was Ott's own signature that made the album stand out, the plethora of original sounds, samples and layers that lie between and over the classic Hallucinogen melodies.
maybe, i don´t know why but the hallucinogen in dub album has the hallucinogenic feeling in it but ott´s own cd´s hasn´t this feeling. If i hear most hallucinogen tracks i think i´am outside in summer, do anyone else think so?

From where i should know that he is far in goa? If anyone don´t like anything from the other the other have the right to attack him or what goes with you Rain??? Not i´am stupid, seens you´re stupid, your trackselection in the set isn´t bad but not very good and if you don´t get "dear Rain, this is awesome man" you begin to fight or what?

Ah rain you´ve said that it is difficult to mix tracks but do you have an idea how difficult it is to do a track that sounds professional, taht´s really art and a skill. I slow get it how to make a track that sounds comercial but it is still almost impossible, you must give the best of you to make a track sound comercial.

What a crock of sh!t!! Ott sounds like rubbish against Shulman!! Ott makes stock standard dub with a tiny tweak hear and there... Shulman makes spaced out ambient music with vague dubby sounds here and there... oh and I'd say that whilst Ott may be the btter producer as in mixing.mastering etc. Shulman is a billion times a better musician... to compare the two is ridiculous! You just made my day, haven't laughed so much for about 2 years
Okay shulman is really much better than Ott because he has singing voices and so on on his tracks, really enjoyable to listen, ott has voices, too but shulman sounds much better.

hey Rian why you get angry i can´t understand at all and i still will keep my meaning that mixing isn´t very hard, buy FL Studio producer edition and you can mix so fast and easy because it has features like set bpm to trackbpm or something and beatmap track to bpm, you can automate everything there, if a track is too slow you can set it as the same speed like the track before and make it the original speed when the other track stops to play. If you mix with fucking bullshit like dj traktor studio and other dj studios mixing is ofcourse hard but if you mix with good software like FL Studio mixing is very very easy.

Have yo ever heard a compilation with name psychedelic sundown? I was so stupid and havn´t bought this great compilation from the shop near where i live, this was a double cd compilation with very great tracks which i never have heard anywhere else, do you remember this compilation? The first cd was pure psychedelic and the 2nd was pure goa with much vocals in it, the cd has had visualisations how i can remember, do you remember this, i can´t find the cd on saiko or psyshop.

hey rian, why you want opinions of your mix, i think mixing is nothing special and your winamp can mix tracks together, too so mixing for me isn´t a skill at all. sorry i don´t watn say something against you but mixing is so easy taht i can´t get why you want an opinion of the set, anyway the tracks are choosen well. I´don´t know why we have djs because the most artists add transmissions in their tracks so the cd´s are like sets.

I wholeheartedly disagree. A DJ is an artist. When a person has the talent to pick the proper progression of tracks and blend them seamlessly together to take people on a musical journey through the trance dance experience, that is an art form.
As with many art forms, there are many practitioners but few masters. Most people want instant gratification and formulaic buildups and breakdowns in every track. A skilled DJ crafts a set that works so well that when it's over you are in awe because it's not just one stand out track you remember, but the entire thing from beginning to end.
so Simon Posford is an artist and a dj, too, listen his transmissions on the cd´s, i havn´t heard such things on any set, but we all know that Simon posford plays in another liga than all other psyartists do.

I don't mean to sound negative, but what's the fascination with mixes?
I've never understood why they're so popular, it's just tracks that are alreay out there but mixed together. For that reason I don't have much respect for DJ's either, they don't create the music, they're not artists, yet people go crazy over them. Why? It's weird.
I think people like mixes cause the transmissiions between the tracks, do you know hwo great feelings give a 1 hour mix with only great hours, i like it if it is from the adio and you can hear the noice cause it gives a feeling that the mix is outside and live.

A problem for me to choose 1 is if the music of the other group plays, if i listen great astral mahadeva i don´t know which is better but if i hear the beautiful mfg tracks i am sure that i like mfg more.

yuo have better written i like only oldschool/newschool because thsi time artists on the labels tranceform and suntrip make music that sounds like oldschool and that i like, too for example khetzal and ypsilon5, i of course can´t listen at all to fucking fullon with the bad quality monobasses and kicks and the long stupid vocals, every child can do fullon, you just must open 4 instances of synths, 1 for the drum, 1 for the bass one for the bad quality stuip repeating vocals and 1 for the synths with the damn stupid pitchbend sound, that is fullon.
