I just can't be bothered to talked about music in the general section since i don't like most of the music that is being discussed there...! If i see anything interesting i post about it...! But you don't post shit as well about music in this site, at least not in that much in the general section....

Goazzz you may be sarcastic with your "put a smile" rule, but if you look at the rule, they say on the first line : Shall there be Peace/Love/Unity/Respect in ONE place in the world, do your best so that it's here. Once you are on Psynews, you are open, you accept its members, share with them, contribute in a positive way..
And later : - Of course, you may not like something and say it. You may agree or not on someone's point, and say it too. But be a gentleman/woman doing so. Be constructive !.

To me it seems like a poor-poor excuse, and you know that other members were way worst in name calling and you didn't do anything...!
Anyway, it seems like the mods and some others disliked Cinos, that's why they took such decision..! It's very strict...12 months...!! Anyhow, since you decided like that, i can't change it but i'm letting you know that i'm not with you on that...! Not for 12 months at least...!

GOAZZZZ my friends case is well over and the sentence is final and already paid and yes it was the first case convincted in Greece like you said.I dont know what else has happened since then though and never heard another case but afterall i am not very much into newspapers and law cases news to know whats going on
Can you please ask your friend the details of his case....? Why he couldn't ask for a second trial...? What he did was a minor "crime" according to the law (plimelima), so he could ask for a second trial (sto efeteio)..! Did he have a lawyer...? Who that lawyer was...? What were his lawyer's arguments at the court...! These are very interesting to know, (if you can get those info of course), cause i'm prety sure that this is a new law and there should be ways to manage to escape a conviction-with a good lawyer of course...!
Pls get those info if you can, since he's a friend of yours it shouldn't be a big problem and let us know...!

I haven't heard of this....but the Greek authorities have to get rid of the people (tous maurous) selling cd copies all over Greece first and then they should try to find the individual people who just d/l music and they don't make any profit of it...!
About your friend's case i'm sure he's the first one he had this kind of trouble in this country...! I'm sorry for him...! And since the court's decision cannot be the final one, he might be declared innocent, or pay less in the next trial(efesh), that he'll be stupid if he doesn't ask for one..!
All in all, just think where you live...! In Greece...the country of chaos...!! You really think there will be more cases like your friend's in the next 5 years...? I doupt about it.....Anyhow...nobody will stop d/l because someone got arrested in Greece, that was sniched from his neighboor, and the final trial haven't took place yet...!

What makes you think we don't already know what you said....we've been in couple of parties before to know most of what it takes to set up a party...! The discution "label Vs Artists" it's been done few times before here, and my opinion is i'd rather go to a party and listen to Antix(example) than buying his cd....
But i'm curious to know your opinion if you can't afford both....what would you choose? Party or CD....?

Off topic, but in Italy they earn minimum the double salaries a month than Greece, i know from experience...! Detox, also if you earn 800e a month here you're quite lucky cause most people don't earn more than 600e for a common permanent 5-days a week job...! I earn 800e and i work 6 days a week, 10hrs min, weekends/holidays included.....

Festivals for sure....parties there were some, cause it was Goa's big bang then, but nothing compared to now...! At least me, i had no clue about the music of the guy i was going to listen to, simply cause there was no mean of information...! I didn't even have a pc in 95.....Info was only from some magazines and from mouth to mouth....!

Well i can't say i've spent 8000e in parties but i've supported almost all artists by going to their gigs and paying rediculous prices in entrance fees...! As moni said this doesn't justifying the d/l thing but it's a big support to the artists, especially some years back, when gms were just kids starting their career, twisted guys were not god entities yet etc...!
I'm no saint, i know, i'm also guilty for d/l music, but i believe i've also supported artists in my own way.....

With the money i've spent in parties the last 10 years,i could buy a whole record shop....
Now i buy cds once a while....but only of smaller artists...I give no shit of the big names, they made their money anyways...! example...if Posford makes a new album, i'll be the first to d/l it...i'm not giving any money to him, since i don't have lots of money to spend on cds...!

Hey did you write this playlist under heavy alkohol or were you under heavy drugs? such songs i listened only when i was 3/4, how i know this genre is called snap and for me it sounds like the most childisch sounding music out there that is not concepted for children, but that´s just IMO.

So you're saying that Cinos is banned because of personal problems with Nemo who is not a mod anymore....? Nemo started this thread saying that Cinos was banned cause he was spreading negativity to the forums...!!
Anyway Nemo, may not be a mod anymore, but he is still locking threads, post official moderator's announcements and pin them as well...! And as it appears now he bans members cause of personal issues.....Since when members can do all these....?
