why do all these artists change thier style? because this new style is better thats why. it must be....all the top artists who know what thier doing are geting into it. hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha sorry. actualy...i do think its better....but thats just my opinion...to me its better. "and mostly why do they create these dancefloor tracks without telling the story and the meaning through them.[cause i feel that there is no meaning and no story in these tracks]" well sorry there ritual om, but there are lots and lots and lots of people and more everyday who see these stories very clearly. i personaly think the stories are clearer than they used to be when they were all hidden behind a wall of arps.

son kite i have all three and i hardly ever listen to the atmos or ticon cds. dont get me wrong... i like them... but i cant listen to a whole cd's worth. i get a little bored and have to change cds. son kite i listen all the way though almost all the time (unless i have to do something else)

i briefly (maybe 20 mins) played around with the nord at the shop today. yes it did make some cool noises...i admit...i spent a lot of time doing nothing but holding down 1 or 2 keys an slowly turning knobs and such. it sounded cool...but i wasnt sitting there going "holy crap i have to get this thing". but like i said...it was only 20 mins. i would really love the chance to plat around with the virus and especialy the microwave... but no store has either one. no one has them at all. and so far whenever i even mention them the guys in the store get all snippy...like theyre pissed off im asking about it. whats up with that? are they anoyed that i want @!#$ thats better than what they have in the store? and why would the idiot in the store try to show me a freaking electribe after i just asked about the virus??? ahem..sorry i also fiddled with the karma....i hated it. i held down one key...one...and did nothing at all...and it played a whole freaking song for me....with breaks and builds and everything...whats the point of that?

is there really any difference other than the keayboard in a kb version and a rack? the new virus kc is 500 bucks more than the virus c rack. do you really need the 500 dollar keys? they account for 1/4 te total cost of the thing. whats the difference between a virus kc and a virus and a $50 controller? ive been looking at all kb versions of things as im interested in the microwave also.. but again the xt is a lot cheaper than the xtk. thnx for your advice.

well.... in industrial vs. means that two artists remix each others music. ie. one does a remix of the other...without the original artists input. feat. means a colaboration, where both artists work on the track.

hehe... i met flava flav at the mall. he was just shopping with his family, but he dressed and acted and talked just like he did in the videos. he even had the big clock hanging around his neck.

well ive just given it a first listen. a very good album indeed. if you like the m.o.s. style then you will not be disappointed. all the familliar elements (no pun intended) are there without getting old or boring. i personaly dont think this is much of a step forward from meter and i actualy like meter better as i think meter more powerfull, but drive is still a strong offering. maybe not a "must" have but definatly a "should" have. of course its only my first listen and we all know how these things tend to get better the more you listen. for right now i give it 7.5/10

hey there dr. cheroot, hows it going? theres a new (at least to me) p2p file transfer porg. out ive heard some good stuff about it, but havent tried it yet. direct connect. give that a shot. but be aware that even if you get the program you will need the sound bank disc..which is a lot more difficult to come by. and if you dont have a good connection forget it...its 600+ megs. the sound bank has been my downfall...although i have not looked for it lately.

Avogaden your right some melodic can be sort of dark. i didnt say anythig about minimal or melodic...all i said was that those 2 zerotonine tracks were pretty danged dark. and that spirallianz does at times get sort of dark....because they get dark not because its minimal.

hhmm... i wouldnt say the acts you listed were all that dark....hard yes...but not really dark. spirallianz gets kinda dark. maybe try zerotonine. i think theyre one of the more darker sounding acts around. give a listen to titanim cluster or pornostar and see if you hear any "darkness" there. maybe you wont, as darkness is a relative perception anyway.

the waldorfs are good as well q micro q microwave xt/ xtk i actualy think the microwave xtk is the best way to go.
