u cannot dirctly convert midi in to a drum sound b cos midi is not a sound format its an interface what u can do is assign a wave drum sound or any sound in to a midi track so it will play that sound it is possible in any music maker in fruity loops u need to open a fruity midi sampler then brows for a midi file .put it in the sampler and u will get a groove. then get a drum sound from the sample browser assign it in ur midi sampler U GOT THE MIDI TO DRUM

I advices u that rather than trying somany softwares master the fruity loops i have tried reason as wellas fl .i have made lots of hard core rave songs in that .its faster ,easier and interesting to make with fl than reason. dont go for any hardware.fl studio is more than enough.reason is good for soft trance. 4 psy trane u better go for fl. its the best

u just right click n randomise the wasp see the sounds u get

For chopped up echos u have to use multi tap delay ucan find this in fl studio n sound forge. For great effects add more than one effect one a sound . eg:take a hi-hat sound put multitap delay on it then put flanger n reverb and see the result or take a kick sound put multi tap delay Have an insight to the effects in fl studio

Ajay two months are not a long time . I took one year to lean fl compleatly .Ihad the same problems i was not even having a full vertion. But now iam a compleate rave artist First of all u must hear a lot of rave songs(infected mushroom recommended). Then try to imitate the progressions of that songs .try try and try. after getting it right u make in ur own Style I will send u one of my fl song if possibe .I need fl studio 5 full, sim synth and wasp full Help me please Best of luck
