there are a lot of albums I found great at first but then my love for them diminished with each new listen... But I think that the albums that stayed with me the most were Scatterbrain - Infernal Angels (psy) and Lumen - Esperanto (chill out) SMI²LE

I buy my records from my local drug dealer too. there's a new trend in these parts: since dealers realized that this is mainly drug music, they decided to make an extra profit by selling psy CDs together with a bag of Es Some say that the profit comes from the CD, others say that it comes from the fact that someone listening to this music will want to take more Es than normal... anyway, with this new trend I don't have to go further than my street corner to get the latest psy releases SMI²LE

hehe every 6 months or so there are loads of posts praising a certain album, I rush to get it but find it's not as good as people say it is... All the tracks on Digitaria sound the same IMO and it's like a more underground version of the usual full-on you get these days. just my opinion though... SMI²LE

yeah but that's the problem... most of them DO!!! Take Etnica for example... or Graham Wood... or even MWNN!!! don't tell me that these people just "forgot" how to make melodies over night. SMI²LE

OK, this is maybe the acid I've taken last week-end still making it's effect but I've came to the conclusion that today's minimal and "full-on" where there's only a 20 second melody near the end is actually very similar to very early trance (you know, the kind that was played before all the genre splits). I mean at the beginning trance was very repetitive and you had to wait for the melody to come in a long long time (kinda like when singing a mantra). I know I've badmouthed today's style a lot over here by calling it "unintelligent", but could it be that the producers are actually seeking to get the initial feel of trance in their songs today? what do you people think? is it that good? cause vol. 2 was kindof a downer and once you think of it vol 1 wasn't that great either IMO SMI²LE

I always get the feeling from people that goatrance is something that just happened over night... Wouldn't it be nice if by collective effort we could track how this thing started? SMI²LE
