  1. What does our Authors, Painters, Actors, Musicians etc. do? They protest and become Activists! Trentemoller and other Danish big International artists and Dj’s are members of a Support group toward Iraqi refugees who all are supposed to be shipped back to Iraq after sitting 10 years in Danish Concentration Camps (That’s the best word to describe the camps). I am also involved in this Group and am proud to see my fellow Countrymen take a stand against racism and Government brutality (Which seem to be equal cruel in Denmark as any undemocratic Apartheid State these days).

nice one man! As an artist you can have some exposure. So you can make people aware of what is happening. Wish you all the best!

I do in any way compare our Country's Political situation with Israel/Palestine but maybe artist’s activism in many other Democratic Countries could inspire the many Israeli artists to also speak up against unjust when they see it.

You meant to write "I do not"?

  2. Holy Shit, you think??

Why this reaction? I am simply stating it must be weird to have to do other stuff than music after years of hard work and trying to make the best music. And all of a sudden you also have to do photo shoots and shit like that. Or is that too stupid to wonder about?

  3. In such a complicated situation as in israel you should not be political? But if it is about tibet or about conspiracy theories, earth polution etc etc we can?

i agree things could get too messy.. But it also seems we can only be political in the trance scene if it is cool. Like talking shit about bush or similar stuff (shit everybody will agree on). But if it gets too close......

  4. Hey Profane,

first a comment on the file. If you ever send something it is good to label it well. Make sure you name and the trackname are there and preferably some contact info in the extra mp3 info. And not just the genre "blues" ;)

ok on to the track (listened on crappy pc speakers):

kick sounds good, nice and punchy but not overly punchy. The beginning almost has a dubby feel to it. Dubtechnoish. When the bass comes in I have a feeling it could be a little more pronounced. Maybe put the (LP?) filter a little higher or at adjust the levels a little to make sure it a little more present. Or eq some of the other sounds. The pads and fxs are a little high in volume here so maybe just lower them a bit.

Otherwise the soundquality is pretty good. And i really like the sound coming in at 3.16 Maybe give that some more presence.

I do have the idea we are still busy with the intro when the track finishes. So try to finish the track and give it some action =)

Maybe add some highpass filtered sounds soft in the background that have delays on them. Reverbs enough ;)

Would like to hear the full version.

    Nice track so far!

  5. downloading stuff doesnt add anything whatsoever to the music industry.

Buying secondhand stuff on the other hand does, even if it is a little bit. When you buy second hand cd's, the person you bought them from has money now to buy new cd's. It doesnt happen all the time. And he could spend it on crack. But some of the money paid for second hand cd's will go to new cd's. so it is at least something, although i know it isnt much ;)

then again i see this va isnt even listed on discogs.. although ebay might have it.

  6. Of course there is, TI looks way better than TI2..

which isnt a very usual reason for buying synthesizers of 1300+ euro's

Except that TI2 has some physical knobs that TI doesnt(u have only controls in VST)

Do you know which knobs are extra?

I have had the TI for a few months now and I must say I havent even touched a knob. I just use it as a VST really. Using the mouse to turn knobs and sliders.

  7. I thought the first night the music was really boring. Didnt stay longer than till 3 am though. The opening on that floor was quite bad. I never really understand why people open a floor without any exciting intro or build up. It's straight 4/4 booming trance within minutes, while you can do so much with tempo or all other musical parameters at your exposal. You can really build a trance going from slow stuff to booming stuff. But i guess being a live act it is difficult to actually achieve that.

the performances on the main floor were really pathetic. They were random and without any link to the rest whatsoever imho. They could have been left out. And they should have continued the visuals on sunday. They were a nice bonus to the lasers and quite funny on saturday.

The music on the mainstage was pretty good on sunday night. Dejavoo did a really nice set that got me dancing again on fullon which hasnt happened for a long time. After that sabai sabai did a really nice merciless dark set. Even though it rained a little that didnt seem to bother most people on the dancefloor ;)

  8. I did meet Gay satanic hippy and krelmatrix. But didnt know about any others going to the voov. Next year snapinho and me might be playing there so you should look out for us then ;)

What did you think of the performances on the main stage?

  9. the lasers were extraordinary because they used to be green only. but now they were all colours. Bright red, yellow, blue and green and anything in between. Very very impressive while the rest of the vuuv was a little bit unimpressive imho. Boring and old deco, no exciting line up. It all felt a bit like a compulsary festival with no love put into it. Except the lasers!!!!!!!!!! they were brilliant.

  10. This list has and will continue to be compiled from here and here.

    yes, as snapinho said..

these are not psytrance related imho.

  11. I gave example examples so you could fill it in with examples from the album

You can make em as genre specific as you want like: they were the first to raise the pitch in hihats over the total length of the sample. But i see you are saying:

    they are revolutionary because:

    1) it adapted classical elements (elements not samples) in it, without changing the fact that it remained a psytrance album.
