lot of people think astral would be fine
hmm they ll be playing live here in Turkey in nye
I ll tell you which track did they play
for me, after a stressfull year, working hard at my dayjob
and family stress this and that last months have been really been putting me down
so for a new start
Leftfield - Release the Pressure
not psy but this fits for -me-
-
well I ve sent a mail too
lets see...
-
I ve bought it off
www.freakemporium.com
they had a variety of astralasia
and also other cool releases
hope you can find it
nice album
-
no worries about oldschool goa
I ll be playing that at the festival
-
I ve got 4 or 5 cd s from him
no problems and good communication
-
Well If you havent listend to ISMS
you re really missing something here
its a very very very nice psyambient album
sometimes uptempo
303s going in and out
nice samples
all and all its one of my favourite ambient albums
though its an ambient album in a shpongle kind a way
dont expect only chilled beats
-
Well I am from Turkey
dont preoccupy your mind with what you ve told
come and experience
we ve been making goa parties here for years
we didnt have a single interruption by any force
maybe our parties were small
but people this is not the first festival in Turkey
there are many festivals reaching around 30.000 people (rock festivals)
so no worries, i dont think there would be any problems
i live now just a half an hour ride where the soulclipse will be
and partied nearly at that location this summer
and it was beautiful
the landscape, the people, the colors
if anyone is disturbed about terorrism
it has diminished very very much, and it is at the southeast region of turkey only
i hope it will be solved someday
and we ll get back to our tradition of multicultural life
in turkey there is not only turks and kurds, there are many more cultures living together
-
MFG made me live craziest moments in my life
very heavily psychedelic
Astral defined goa
but if I had to vote
it would be
MFG
-
Hilight Tribe
and
Ott
are coming as well
its getting wonderful
-
yeah
my favourite site
back online
altough i do not post so much
this site since its review/forum days
have been visited daily by me (whenever possible)
it is special, so many things have changed in my life but not this one
finished university, did my ma degree, started a job
and still checking out this site
people changed, i dont know a lot of things changed
but i enjoyed every bit of it
thanks mars
-
nice to hear another turkish producer
nice chilled tune
maybe the sounds can be improved
-
but they didnt change it in a way like moving the dates
they added one more day to the end
so its not like you have a day off and miss another one
you miss the extra day
but still would hurt
I hope not many people were on tight schedule
I am ashamed to say but I would actually be happy even if they added another day, the longer the better

-I am buying a tb-303 after years of dreaming.
-I do not want to give up the software drum-machines. If you have any recommended ones, please tell me so.
-I may buy some synths or soft synths. I am open for recommendations, altough I ve read quite a lot about them here in this side of the forum, but still I am up for more.
-Dont know if I have to go for a hardware sampler or Logics sampler is good enough. What would be the advantage of going for a hardware sampler except the cpu usage, I have several akai and roland sample discs waiting to be explored.
-I am a mac user.
-I have a M-audio firewire solo interface.
-I have studio monitors.
-I have an alesis quadraverb effect machine.
-How do you think all this can work together. What do I need, a mixing desk? or what else?
-I am planning to record live instruments as well maybe not more than 2 at the same time.
-I think Logic looks like the right software for me. If you know Logic which tutorials(where can I find them) or guide books do you recommend?
Some of these I have inheritedç some are from old live band days, but I was a drummer and now this is a whole new approach. I am willing to sit seriously and work. I would be grateful for some recommendations and some ideas, answers

I usually do not listen to prog
but Atmos now thats good for my taste
have enjoyed son kite at open airs too
so my vote
ATMOS
-
well it looks like its gonna be the best festival ever
if you re looking for
millions of live acts
a lot of people
but not with 4 stages I guess
cmon man you re in greece
get your ticket for 90 and come
lets all dance together
-
complimets totally wrong
I meant complaints
what a killing typo
they only got COMPLAINTS from Turkish people
-
that email has been sent by a fellow turkish friend
and they answered, someone named Hillary
they said they only got compliments from turkey about the ticket prices
and couldnt understand it as we dont even pay travelling expenses
ok they are making the festival so they are following their path
but
I do not believe higher ticket prices means a quality crowd (this looks like the idea behind it)
She also wrote this is nearly the half of the line up so they spend quite a lot on booking-
She also remarks you shoud compare this festival to other eclipse events not only psy festivals and she says the price is competetive
well i have only positive feelings about this party so hard for me to think somehtings wrong but prices just caused me some pain, not because I cant pain, but because i know some friends, it looks like as I am the one who is working i ll need to get a few tickets for my mates
ps. maybe I am wrong, but thinking of 2003 morocco where 2 parties took place
one of them 100 euro and the second one free
the second was way ahead of the first one (the free one)
I wish they were both good but then again its my point of view
the first one had big artists whereas the second one was by goafreaks from around the world, again thats two different things a psy festival and a goaparty... this has gotto be a nother topic I ll cut it here
-
well once again the organizers are not turkish
the organizers are Indigokids
they have turkish support as well as many other I guess
And agia_igoumeni you re totally right about the greek-european-turk thing
I wish there was Juno too but who knows still they re adding names
-
well there are many big names not only simon
but still it is expensive
who do they want to come
clubber kids or freaks
who the hell can have 1 week off in the middle of the year and have that much money hehe
price effects the crowd, the crowd effects the vibe, the vibe is the whole party
still as it is officially declared i dont expect they would lower the prices
one thing is, it is for a week, so nearly like 2 festivals.
In a country as cheap as Turkey still i believe they could ve done better then that, but i am positive about this festival
@agia_igoumeni
it is not done by turkish peopel so it doesnt matter if you re TOO european for us at the end I have lived in both countries and have not seen much difference
-
I hope they re planning or already planned
discount tickets for poorer countries
like Turkey itself!
I think they would do it
I cant open the webpage now, dont know why it doesnt work
-
well Moni is right
here in Turkey the situation is exactly the same
people earn around 250euros basically
if you are a uni graduate, it can go up to 400 to 800 a month for the first year
So it is very very hard to pay all the expenses (living) and buy the cds
In here our turkish cd vendors (who release shit records of pop muic) managed to sell cd s for around 4-8 euros, so it can be done
They have sleeve and everything and original cd s with a lot of promotion
I wonder how can there be a way to do that, really do not know
It is also very hard to get cd s from overseas because when your total buy is over 100euros they say you bought for commercial purposes and make you pay customs fees which doubles the payment
It has been very hard to get all the cds throughout the years, if only I havent travelled and lived outside Turkey I wouldnt be able to get my music anyways
and believe me there are many people willing to pay for original cd s here if only they could afford it
well done Moni good insight
-
well if you come earl or stay later
dont forget that you got a friend here
will be happy to do whatever i can
-
Looking for the cd
if anyone has this plus more old stuff to sale, not to trade
contact me
-
oh and tb-303 also stands for the machine that has oscillated certain frequincies which abducted my brain and made a surgery on it leaving nothing but a jawdrop adoration for it, now i am a slave for it
