I don't know anything about the current situation with Tranceform but I can at least confirm what was written about Ethereal in the other thread (except for the part about a project with merr0w.. then again, who knows
). I'm in the process of finishing the remaining university courses so the real work on the new album will start early in the summer. Also, we will do one more track for Metapsychic before that /Fredrik

thanks a lot for the support my friends. im sure many people will enjoy this album , i dont like to keep the old stuff getting all dusty so its cool to make an album with it as a promo since im working on the official album. all those songs have a lot of memories to me and it tells how i started , shows my evolution aswel. this album will show to the people what my style is too.

Nice going Felipe, I don't have any of these tracks, except I think one in horrible sound quality, and I've heard maybe one more, but that's it. And I see it's coming out on the Metapsychic Records, so now I got two releases from them I'm looking forward to: yours and "Innerpolarity"!!! Nice stuff here... hi rino , i decided to make an album with my old tunes because im sure many people loves them , and i did it specially cause im doing a new album and i want people to know how i started. i was mentioning in the other topic the new album i am doing , not this one , but i dont wanna throw my old tunes out just because it simply brings me some ol memories , takes me back where i started.
there are not any deadlines , when its done , someone will announce it. till then , save your energy

You're probably talking about "Silk Animal" (goa garden mix). It's a very nice track indeed, with a real deep emotion inside, but the production quality wasn't so good, and even more when you compare it now with his newest tracks. But I prefer let Filipe tell you himself more about it.

What do you miss the most from the Goa period?
And don't tell me the melodies in general, tell me some elements.
Here is what I miss the most and can't find in todays psy trance.
1.The liquid basslines
Most of the artists today full on, proggy, dark or freestyle use a more ''dry'' bass than Goa artists used to use. Only some Suomi stuff have these ''liquid'' basslines (like Salakavala) but they're not good enough.
Perfect examples of ''liquid bassline'': Talamasca-Sinai and MFG-Peaceful Relaxation.
2.The ''synth over synth'' technique.
It's when a track has a synth playing a specific melody and after 16 beats, a second, louder synth enters playing the exact same (or slightly faster) melody.
Perfect examples of ''synth over synth'' technique: Tripsters-Skitzophrenik (the first two minutes) and Psygone-Psyquest.
3.The final killer climax.
It's simple. When a track after many minutes of power and melodies finishes you with a final killer climax. Unfortunately today only Filteria and Azax Syndrom seems to make final killer climaxes.
Perfect examples of final killer climax: Astral Projection-People Can Fly and Filteria-Navigate.
