  1. ok...

i only know drumatic and drumatic 2.2....

    1. adjust a long decay "decay"

    2. use the pitch modulating envelope "mod" to select the pitch range of your kik.

    3. tune your kik by adjusting "tone".....adjust to the key of your track

    4. re-adjust the decay to fit in the spaces of the bass...

    5. adjust "hi pitch" and "hit am" to ad a )) click (( to your kik...

    6. go to step 1 to 5 until youre satisfied it fits with your bass

  2. all the tracks have moved to the "music promotion" forum under the "artists news and label anouncements"......mabe in future the tracks "in progress" could be posted here...finished tracks could then go to the "music promotion" forum.

here are the threads about the promotional area...

  3. listend to your track again, what can i say: i really hope this track gets on one of those chill compilations, and i hope it gets a lot of attention here... we need a promotional area...quality! ;)

the arp sound that nemo is talking about could be: "nordled ! 01 (mv)" from z3ta.....???? not sure  .....

  4. Tell your friends that you also speak with tha Stalker too

The famous tech-trance Minimal producer, the one that killed Goa

    That should impress then :P

yeah, and on your next holliday visit "184 brixton road (sw9 6at)" and ask when martin peter glover moved out... ;) ... maybe they still have memorabilia to sell to you...

no offence, but move on....do your own thing...;)

  5. stalker, there are hidden messages in this track, arent there? what are those vocal saying? go to the frige and raid it? :D

anyway, very dark ambient track, love the spheres....got to moan about those toms that come in around 2:40 though, bit too standard cheap (or old school) drum machine like....

    keep it up... ;)

  6. I think it's actually more probable the other way around...? There are millions of smalltime labels out there, and if you have something good, that fits their particular taste, then a promo is the right way to go.

I think it is waaay easier to get a live-gig if you can put some affiliated label after your band name. Who would you hire for a party:

    - Amygdala

    - Amygdala (Cerebral rec.)

    -A

    i second that.....

  7. if you are serious about contacting labels, then you should consider a few things:

    1. do some reseach on the labels which you think are best suited to your sound.

i.e. find out who is doing a+r, in this scene the label will in most cases consist of one or two people.

sometimes it is also wise to know who the label djs are, some of them do compilations.

    2. contact that person, see if they are actually looking for new artists or the sound youre doing.

never just send out stuff, in most cases it gets ignored. so tell them that you are sending stuff to them

so they remember you and actually open the parcel.

    3. always write a letter reminding them of who you are and when you spoke,

also inklude an artist-profile if you have one.

then wait some time, and get in touch again. if they liked your stuff they will remember you.

it can work this way, but it is very, very difficult....dont be disapointed if you dont get replies.

if you are serious then you will continue making music anyway, release or not.

( the best way to get anywhere is to know these guys personaly,

or know someone that knows them..obvious reasons. )

  8. The kink works now, and what can I say?

Nothing, words wouldn't do it justice.

The piano-saxophone has to be the best combination possible.

I would really love to hear it in better quality.

May I recommend you a track I found in the review section .

It's called xerxes-angelina and you can download it for free on this webpage. It also use a piano/saxo combo but in a different way.

I would listen to this when I fall in love, and I would listen to your track when the girl break my heart

    :D

you may recomend this track but im not sure how long ill keep it online....

as for the quality, i have to say im sorry but as im not doing this project alone, my hands are tied...sorry......just pretend youre listening to it on an am radio ;)...

  9. sounds good, very delta-ish...

someone once told me that if you want to prevent to much bass bleeding over in your mix, all you have to do is add bass on your monitoring system then do your mix, when youre almost finished take it out again...not sure if that is a good tip, never worked for me. one thing i do know though, too much sub can really steal lots of headroom.
