    V/A - Floatation

I agree with the above. It is one beautiful ambient journey. Absolutely excellent. :-)
  2. XV Kilist - Kante / Gummi Artist: XV Kilist Title: Kante / Gummi Label: Spiral Trax Date: 1999 Track listing: 01. 09'20" Kante 02. 10'40" Gummi Review: The second EP of XV Kilist from Switzerland. One of the best selling Spiral Trax EP's at its time and with a reason: both tracks are f*** great! They can rock a dancefloor up side down. Although the EP was released quite some time ago, and is not available anymore, I think it should be reviewed so that people can understand what all this X.V. Kilist fuzz was about. "Kante" contains crazy sounds arranged in an intelligent way. It has a sample that makes me grin just becuase of the sound of it. It goes like: "Ich kann die Fernwehn nicht mehr so wichtig absetzen... Oh!", or something that sounds simulair. It's in German anyway. =] After this sample, when the music peaks at 3/4 of the track, a bassline comes in that sends thrills up my spinal column. "Gummi" has a very simular sound, though the samples here are present in a less obvious way. The rythms in the track are just awsome. And, the track has been released on a compilation too. To wrap up: these tracks are funny, groovy and able to induce drug like rushes. Dancefloor killers...

    V/A - Experience

A friend said about the Earthling track: "a floorfiller by GMS without the help of Bansi & Riktam" and "track by Celli & Cushi from Ibiza".

    Atmos - Medical Trauma

Bad Lieutenant is a film by Abel Ferrara with Harvey Keithel as a bad cop that does lots of drugs and abuses teens (US, 1992). Evil stuff is everywhere, anytime. Psytrance is only a little better then the rest of the world, in fact, its full of drugs, arrogant DJ's and promotors that run off with the money. If you don't want to think in the morning about things that might upset you, get your self some Britney Spears to listen to. Or simply only play the track at night. ;-)
  5. Yep, all of these guys live in Amsterdam. Ramamurtu is a German, Troy is an American and Joshua and Onno are Dutch. And, true again, this music is great for partying. Fungus of Light played at the VooV 99 and 2000 and at Antaris 2000 and together with Bonky they played at this year's Boom! festival. Their live acts rock! And Fungus of Light has an new album coming out soon.
  6. Two of these tracks, 'Time Zone' and 'Re-Evolution' were downloadable for free together with a third track ('Moon Palace') from the Shakti Twins website when it was still up. These tracks are melodic indeed. But the Twins are not Belgian and for sure not Dutch, they are French. However, they do live in Holland, in The Hague. They gave parties there where they used to sell their CD. "Join the Psychedelic Family! Take the vibe home! Buy our CD!" A lot of fun those parties were... Oh, and I give 'Re-Evolution' a 9 for its catchy tune and 'Time Zone' also a 9 because it is so creepy.
