I think I would agree with Frosty on this one. The interludes and classical tones are truly rich and pervasive. The actual trance parts are nothing special. This reminds me of the Sigilweaver album from Ghreg on Earth. Not in style, but the ambient and interlude pieces really pique my interest. To the point of hoping that POF would do a concept dark ambient album. One thing is for sure, POF can tell a good story.

U-recken- Deeper Into Man

So.....you're review is positive? Please elaborate as I am intrigued by a master making a comeback.

I'm a Johnny come lately to this album, as I am nervous about jumping into darkpsy with the cliche bassline and random weirdness along with lack of melodies. SA psytrance is usually about as dark as I go. For me the intros were the best part. Very deep and eerie, providing a very dark and scary vibe. It would be awesome if he did a Dark Ambient album. Like all have said before, it falls into the trap that a lot of darkpsy does: lack of variation. Nonetheless, because he furnishes breaks in his tracks I believe it is more accessible than the relentless pound you in the skull scary music.
So for me, it is not bad for a DarkPsy album. Good work.

This was quite good. Love the tabla in track 3. Congratulations on the new artist and thank you for making it free!

Man Chris that sucks. A contract means nothing these days it seems. On the positive side, your album 9th still has permanent residence on my cd player.

Thanks for the info! I no longer have any of the gear except for a JV 1010 sound module, but maybe later I will resupply.

Ok, settle down everyone. I made this thread to profess my admiration for a label that has given me music that I missed out on when it was at its zenith. To be honest, I enjoy the music. Other than production, I cannot really tell the difference between new and old school. And I don't care to. I'm not into labeling. If it sounds good and moves me, I like it.

Good track Filipe! Very enjoyable. I used to have an MC505 with an RM1x and a Yamaha SU700 sampler but I couldn't ever figure out how to get them all to work well together. Maybe when my sons are grown I will get back into it.
What software did you use? I ask because I have never used any and would be interested in what you recommend.

I've enjoyed his tracks very much. I wouldn't be averse to him attempting a new goa album. Any chance you can do that Suntrip?

Suncockreti would've been on there if not for the dreadful California Sunshine nonsense!

HOLY CRAP is this full power acid insanity! Full steam ahead that will move you. Fantastic job!

Yet, we have nice plans for 2010, and we hope you'll be pleased with these releases.
Now Mars, you know you cannot dangle a juicy carrot like that in front of us!
Spill it! (Well, how bout some of it?)

Wouldn't it be something if the reason the album took this long is because they wanted to make such a great goa album to put them back in the driver's seat?

So...an album by Liquid Flow is just around the corner, and Artha as well? Delicious!

As a SA psytrance blind buyer, Artifakt was one artist that I couldn't get into. The music is too harsh and atonal for me. Also, I find it grating on the ears at times.

This is great news. It will be interesting to see what direction his musical style goes with a release on Ultimae. I hope there will be a little goa influenced melodies.

Apart from the absolutely beautiful Murya track this is a boring compilation.
Sorry Ultimae.
While tastes differ (you and I seem to have very similar musical likes) I have to disagree with you here. This is another deep gem that only gets better with repeated listens. Try it again in the late afternoon when you want to relax. If you still find it empty, no biggie. There is always other music!

I was listening to this while I took my infant son for a stroll. The weather was sunny and a nice breeze was blowing. The temperature was about 65F and I go into this music. This music inspires deep thought. It took me to a whole new level. Thank you E-mantra!

Hey, will no one mention Khetzal's Corolle, that album is beyond good.
+100
One of the best released! That album is so deep...

I think it's funny that you said this:
0.00-ground shaking beat.you can feel the vibration of planet X.
1.25-amazing synth and 303.aliens secretly talking to the listener.patiently waiting for the speech!
1.48-this is psychedelic and substantial!
3.20-what a twist. Really simple and effective buildup!
6.40-amazing melody!
Well,I don’t like much of this track.

The title says it all, but I wanted to create a thread expressing how impressed I am with this label's incredible production. In a time when CD sales are in the toilet and everything seems to find its way onto the net, these guys continue to release top notch material. As you know they started back in 2004 with Filteria's groundbreaking Sky Input and haven't looked back. I missed the goa revolution when it first came around so when "nu-school" goa made the scene I was eager to jump aboard. Of course credit should go to the artists primarily because it is their visionary music that transports the mind, but Suntrip has shown other labels how it should be done. The quality has been so consistent that they merit a blind buy from me every time. I would say that they are responsible in no small part for the huge amount of Goa being released today. Just look at what they released in 2009 alone:
All of them superb (waiting for the E-mantra disc, but no doubt it will be stellar.) I hope that you will continue to release quality goa trance as I will be in line everytime with money to throw at you.
BTW, I don't want to offend any of the other labels as it isn't my intention. As a pioneering label in the genre of goa trance, I believe that other labels have benefited from their lead. There has been so many awesome compilations with such great artists that I feel like the kid in a my signature. Thanks for all that.
