Nice release, thanks!!

Well jealous, it sucks we get no goa parties in the UK.

Precisely my point. You take old classics, re-record them again with today's production, and they will sound fairly different. Not the old school sound anymore. People will moan. While I love many of the classics and more obscure old goa, the style has to evolve so that, even still being goa trance, it doesn't sound like the older music; if it hasn't it might partly be the artists not risking, and some labels pushing agendas on their artists (for what I've heard). And also there is some kind of weird contradiction, that Goatrance today should sound more like the old stuff, but on the other should sound new and fresh, and shouldn't be stuck in the past.
I think suntrip and phototropic, to name two, have this pretty well handled with most of their releases so far, or at least as of late.

It's all about the music, if it sounds good it's good no matter how old or new it is.

This is one of the reasons I singled out Corolle; sadly loads of people seem to think this is a bad thing, and that if you don't do the "old skool" sound you're not really making goa. I want to see more experimentation and unusual ideas on the music, otherwise, yes, lots of tunes end up being too samey. You may argue there are special cases, Khetzal for instance. But it took Khetzal years to make this album and it was in special "bliss" conditions. In other words it's an extremely rare conjunction of events when an artist creates Goatrance music these days that doesn't sound like anything that was released between 1995-1999!

A few other niggles:
* Haven't found a way on the site to contact you guys to report the following
* The photo uploader is not working, the file gets uploaded, the text "1 file uploaded" appears and that's it. Nothing else happens and the pics appear nowhere. I've tried this on FF 3.5 and IE8.
* The site randomly redirects the user to the "invite friends" page
* When using said page, it says nothing about what's gonna do with the login details being entered. My guess is nothing other than logging in on myspace or facebook, but you have to make this clear to the user or they will be less likely to use it.
* I'd go a bit easier on javascript visual effects, especially on big chunks of the page as this is pretty slow (single core 2.4ghz machine here so it ain't a snail). On IE this can be excruciatingly slow.
* Haven't found a way to browse a user's list.
Other than that all seems pretty solid.

I got the same error. I was careful as I read that message before so I paid attention when I received the link on the email. If you look at the logs you will see I clicked the activation link twice, and got that error twice as well. The confirmation system is working fine, I checked the server logs and it seems you accessed the confirmation link more then once (maybee you reloaded the page on slow connection), and so, the system had already activated your account and was returning the error message.
The user, however, was activated correctly and am happily logged in.
Other than that I was expecting a lame attempt at a social network, this has been tried before, and I have to say I was wrong. Loving the site.

Hey, will no one mention Khetzal's Corolle, that album is beyond good.
-
Well the link specifically answered all yor questions but yeah what the rest saidi saw that link, didn't understand it though
-
Excellent news! Gone through the links and none seem to offer digital download, is this on the pipeline?
-
I'd say the filter is also keytracking

Check out The songs of distant earth by Mike Oldfield and Labyrinth by Juno Reactor

A good thing about music is variety. If I wanted to listen to the old lost buddha I would just dig up his old music off my collection; style evolution is important or it would sound all the same year after year. I for one wanna see influences from all music styles; the indian thing is great but done to death; goa needs more variety or it all sounds samey, look at current full on releases: track after track of exactly the same thing. I fail to see how the nitzho elements are wrongly placed, but hey, music is very personal and music taste is everything

Great track dude, keep it up
-
I've actually been running audiochecker on my entire goa trance directory for the past few days.
-
Humm how about whoever did it is a fan with good but misjudged intentions? The grimmest explanation does not necessarily have to be the right one always.
Just email jamendo to take it off.

I have a pair of KRK RP8 G2 and it's one of the best purchases I've ever done.
-
No offence dude but that doesn't sound like an electro-psytrance hybrid at all, more like electro house to me.
-
Dude that sounds wicked. Is the whole lot 505 sounds? How's the sequencer like?
-
Been waiting for this one
-
Wow I'd go to that party if it wasn't because I'm coming down from UK the week before to a different one, looks like it's gonna be a blast.
Best soundtrack ever?
