  1. I'm not sure if this is the kind of music you're looking for, but I always thought of every Wildthings Records act to heavily emphasize rhythm, with lots of percussion and unmatched moody atmosphere, very, very psychedelic. E.V.P (Alex Diplock) and RealityGrid (Alex Diplock, used to be a duo with Leon Kane (Avalon), but Avalon is now solo at Nano Records), as well as Archaic and Error Corrective.

Word. Anything in Wildthings or Bom Shanka drive crowds crazy in the UK for good reason. Psymmetrix is up there with EVP and RG in my opinion, and Neutral Motion and Synthetik Chaos are well worth a mention.
  2. Its NOT a contract!

I'm sorry but you are mistaken there. Contracts can take many forms, paper & signature being just one of many. Why do you think companies are bound by law to respect their advertisement, for example?

    The bitching continues

There's indeed no place for personal attacks on anyone on an adult debate. Please let's not lose our manners.
  3. And I was not replying to you but to tripper. I respect your opinion but it wont change the result. Please respect our opinion too.

I am not disputing the winner remix. The rules were very clear and specific, binding both artists and organisers therefore not subject to opinions of any description.

    This:

    9. Sheyba reserves the right to cancel or amend the terms of this competition at anytime without prior notice. Any changes will be posted within the rules on Facebook and other web partners / press.

is a non enforceable clause due to being abusive. Put it simply, you cannot change unilaterally a contract and expect the other part to be held by it if they don't agree. This clause opens the door at changing the rules to "by entering this competition you transfer the copyright of all your past, present and future music compositions to us", to name one extreme example.
  4. I didn't participate on this so I don't really care, but I agree with Anoebis. If you guys said 3 tracks are to be released, you have to do exactly that. End of story. No excuses, no exceptions. Otherwise there's no contract and the artists can certainly do whatever they please with those tunes. Even more considering the minuscule amount of remix material provided (just had a look at the remix pack), the original tune being a mere citation in most of those remixes.

I have some of those and they are fantastic, hope the rest come to light at some point.

  5. I didn't notice it either (hence my order, should've looked better), but it says:

    Usually dispatched within 1-2 weeks

Furthermore, they sent me an email (below) a couple of days ago saying they were dealing with the distributor to get more - which I would've thought it's you guys? Judging by your answer I take it they haven't even contacted you lot to re-stock. Not impressed with play.com!

Cheers for the link, will try amazon once I manage to figure out how I cancel orders in play.com

On the other hand I guess this means the CD has sold out in there, which is good news :)
