  1. Well I guess I'll have to force them here, even though this is pretty much a dead section.

These were all(Except #1) submitted to ActOneArt's Artpack which is why they all have the AO logo.

You can see the pack here http://www.actoneart.com/scene1/

    Name's are complete rip-off's, I know

  2. You know i am really sick of you people turning Filipes free stuff against the album. There has never been anything for free from Suntrip, and when Filipe does it, instead of appreciating it you turn his free releases against this album.

So here is what will happen: There will never be any free stuff from Filipe or Phototropic ever again. Hope you are all happy now.

    Harald aka Digitoxin

That's like saying I can't say that IFO is better than Seven Sisters, because it's older, even though it clearly is better.

  3. At this time, I doubt anywhere and to be honest, this is kinda confusing me

    http://kotaku.com/5060059/mirrors-edge-rem...six-songs-leave

The complete track listing for the Mirror’s Edge Remix ALBUM is as follows:

Lisa Miskovsky Still Alive – Mirror’s Edge Theme Song

Benny Benassi Still Alive – Remix

Junkie XL Still Alive – Remix

Paul van Dyk Still Alive – Remix

    Teddybears Still Alive – Remix

Armand Van Helden Still Alive – Remix

No mention of solar fields...

But I'm guessing the games own original OST will have it.

  4. I was excited to hear this album because of Pandem's track on V/A Human Hyperactivation.

This is album is really solid, the tracks are all appealing and good. It even has some really great Eastern influences on some of the tracks which is a big plus for me, also reminds me little bit of Ra's sound. Another good thing is that some of the ideas really work well, and are quite fresh(Especially in An Harlequins Tale).

But it's not all perfect, the biggest problem here is repetitiousness. The same synth sounds, the same flute and what's worse, the same damn guitar riffs. It really gets on my nerves how the guitar riffs stay there for basically the whole damn album. I mean, there's a little bit of difference in it, but it's so transparent that you don't feel like it has changed, at all and it really takes away from the album as a whole. Luckily it's not a deal-breaker, though.

With that said this is still a good album(Great on the dancefloors, I'd imagine), but safe-bets and repeats itself far too often.

    Favourites 2(!!), 3(!), 5(!), 8, 10.

    I'd give it an 8/10 (4-10 scale)

P.s. I haven't done a lot of reviews, excuse the noobiness of this one.

  5. Finally got around hearing this, thanks for suggestion it Ormion.

I find this album really great. All of the tracks are either good or great with a batch of fantastic one's(Camaro Kanitou, Salva Da Tori, Tasmania, Equal Bottle Blows). Some of the tracks are indeed a bit samey, but in this album I don't really think it's a problem.

The only real downside on this album is the really REALLY BAD cover, I just don't find drawings like those to be appealing on ANYTHING. While I can respect the drawing itself, in some regard, I still don't like it. It looks ugly. One of the worst covers imo.

P.s. What's with the 1997 syndrome? It feels like 1997 has the most of these fantastic releases compared to other years.

  6. Astral Projection - Utopia

    haha +mighty cover

haven't heard it though, i also have macrometa etc album and its vewi guud!

    but this really

    :/

    stinks.

I highly suggest you taking a listen to it, it's great.

And you're right about the cover

artificial latvamäki - konstaapelin ajan juoksu yöllä

Man, suomisaundi artists always use the most wack names on everything.

  7. I'm surprised no-one mentioned Star Sounds Orchestra - Sultanas Light, exactly the kind of stuff I was actually looking for. Found it by accident, too.

I really need to hear rest of their stuff now.

    Etnoscope

Few great tracks on the album Drums From The Dawn Of Time, thanks.

Shakta - Silicon trip is one of the best albums for that genre. There are also other shakta tracks with eastern imfluencies bt that album is best. The second alum which I like more doesn´t have so much eastern influencies. Check Silicon trip out, it can´t get more eastern I think. The last track on that album - Earthrise is one of the best Shakta tracks and one of the better in general.

Yes that one is a great album.

If you like sitars, Shakta vs Moonweed - Micronesia.

    Chi-a.d. - Pathfinder

    Bass Invaders - Nene Naha

Elysium - Monzoon has this eastern-tribalish atmosphere

Juno Reactor - Beyond the Infinite

There was this Juno Reactor track with a lots of Indian female chants, something along the lines of "Om Shanti Om" I think. I just can't find it now >_<

    Micronesia is a fantastic track.

    Patherfinder was nice.

    I already know about Juno.

    The other 2 I haven't heard yet.

The track, Nasha feat Mad Sheer Khan - Chai machine (!!)

maybe you also should check out music from Elysium...laidback, orientalic...

Still yet to check those out.

yeah you're sure  , how can you

    on topic,

mystica has some tracks on their debut album (not the one man game album)

poly 61 released an amazing track when it comes to eastern influenced goa, but I forgot the name,

anoebis will know, he identified it a long time ago (maybe find it in the search)

that's only one track, but it's one of the best ;)

    try

    Bodh gaya - ayahvasca

    you might like it :)

Bodh Gaya - Impossible to get a hold of, but what I liked what I've heard.

  8. Ra - 9th (still available??)

    http://www.suntriprecords.com/pages/releases.php

    :)

I'm buying Tamlin and Jikooha albums myself, many have given them good reviews.

If you wanna safe bet you'll add Tutankhamon 9000's Lost In Luxor in your cart thou. :)

Yes, Tamlin is a fantastic choice. I would buy it if I were able to do so.

    Pretty much same with Jikooha.

Just out of curiousness, how are you buying them? Discogs? I was thinking about buying some stuff from there(Because some take bank transfers) but it all feels over-priced and not exactly secure.

  9. Ra - 9th

    V/A - Opus Iridium

    Jikooha - Revolution Spaceship

    Tamlin - Spectrogram

    V/A - Freshly Cut Tomato

    Headroom - Artelligent

Digicult - Out Of This World

    Tegma - Lo-Fi Adventures

Those I've liked a lot. Good year imo, I can see the future being as solid.

  10. I really love the inclusion of all sorts of eastern themes in Goa and Psy trance and I'd like to know all the artists/albums/tracks that have those.

Oh and I already know about RA, Tegma, Lost Buddha, Khetzal, Eat Static and VA - Pyramidal Trancendence(maybe more, but those come to mind off the top of my head).

    So ya, post up! :)
