    If yes, whats the deal? This is not medieval at all and not even dark or deep... but goes on the nerves with some of the used sounds. But I am also not a IM fan,so......show how different tastes are even within a "scene" or "genre" itself..but do people even know how medieval music sounds ? Yeah, why are the kickdrums so "thin"! i noted this is in many newer stuff

    Well you are right it's nearly not as medieval as it could be. It's just a subtle theme here. I would not want real medieval music mixed with psytrance as usually all kinds of attempts to add world music etc. just fall flat. I also doubt it was even meant to be dark or deep, it's just full-on.

    The only genres I know enough about are goa/psy and DnB. So of all the DnB I've heard the IFO would definitely be Evol Intent - Era of Diversion hands down. I know many people would prolly go for something LTJ Bukem but for me the Evol Intent album is really what DnB is all about.

     

    There's quite much variation in that album.
