a real GOAbeat in Impuls Tracker

Sorry dude, but this is one of the most stupid things I heard recently :) How can you ask for something like that? It's like you asked what notes should you use to make beautiful melody or at which track put base, drums and melody?!?!

There's no such thing like "real Goa-beat" - it all depends on what type of psy-trance you like... My advice is: place some kick drum every 4 rows (or 8 rows depending on speed you choose with Fxx command) and then hihat sample in the middle between the kicks - you'll have the simplest beat possible. Then load some bass sample and place it randomly in other track. Mess up with it - insert spaces, delete spaces, place some 3xx, 1xx, 2xx, Cxx effects to achieve sound you'll like...

And better yet - download MadTracker (madtracker.org), beacause IT is good, but very old and lacks lot of improvements newer trackers have...

Good luck :)

Let's see if this works...

K___K___K___K___

____S_______S___

Hh_hhh_hHh_hhh_h

__O___o___O___o_

K = Kick Drum (bass drum)

S = Snare

H = Hihat

O = Open Hihat

_ = silent 16th note

This is the most basic "goa" beat.
