Sync wave form?

A sync sound is where one oscillator's waveshape generation is reset by another oscillator; that is, 'synchronized' with the second oscillator. So the frequency of the resulting sound is determined by the master oscillator, but the tonal character is determined by the slave oscillator. Here's a good in-depth explanation:
