mars
A n-th "bombombom" compil. This is ultra-minimal. I had no kind of pleasure while listening to it...No inventions, no trip, no enjoyment. only bombombom with 2 samples around. No i can't cope with this over minimalized minimal psy minimal tekno. I dont give it a chance, ZMA had used us to compiling better tracks....and i'm very fed up with nonsense noise. 2/10 for the cover art. Guest Acidhive
V/A - ZMART Artist: Various Title: ZMART Label: Zillion Mental Anarchie Date: 2001 Track listing: 01. 08'44" Spy Vs Spy And DJ Lando : Karmacrusher 02. 07'31" Paste : Replicator 03. 08'35" Data Entry : The Wall 04. 07'35" Antix : Sell Your Doll 05. 07'17" Yumade : The Circus 06. 08'02" Pylon : The Bro 07. 06'28" Opsis : Mid Air 08. 07'24" Wizzy Noise : Screwheads 09. 07'42" Morphem : Game Lord Review: Ok. Minimal haters skip this one, people that do like their minimal stuff, read on! A compilation filled with dark, minimalistic songs. Starts off with the excellent Karma Crusher track. Typical Iboga influence here, as it's funky and dark. Next up is Paste, with another one of their dark minimal tracks. This one also has some weird voices in it. Next up Data Entry with a track that's really dark and is filled with movie samples. Pretty cool and stomping. Next is Antix.. Another dark track, which sounds really atmospheric. Yumade deliver a weird track as usual. Has a strange kickdrum in the beginning which gets harder later on. Pylon delivers a punding dark track. Next is Opsis with another dark minimal track. Wizzy Noise take us deeper in their minimal style, this one is more minimal than what they've been up to lately. It's also really dark and atmospheric, and sounds a lot like Spirallianz. It reminds me of Submariniert by Spirallianz, only different. The comp ends with a really hard track from Morphem, which is a dramatic change from their X-Dream like sounds. Whoo the kickdrum here is just sooo cool!! Anyway, these words sum up the whole comp: Dark, Minimal, Atmospheric, kicking... I kinda like it, but that's mainly because I like all kinds of Psytrance. Hercules did a great job selecting these tracks. Listen to this one loud, and it will eventually get your brain. Just give it a chance!! I did, and the result is a solid 8/10 and thumbs up for this one. Get it while it's still available...!

Guest djrodrigo[at]marijuana[dot]com
Well, i use to like minimal, but this compilation is really weak.... maybe 2 or 3 tracks u can listen, other tracks are pointless.... The good tracks are wizzy noise screwheads, antix sell ur doll and yumade . I really cant figure when i can play or even listen that tracks... just dark and no rithim or stuff like that.... too much heavy and dark, maybe good for a party in hell or something like that!!!! Please be more psychedelic in next compilation !!!
Guest Zoltar
I like minimal and enjoyed Wizzy Noise's Cybermancy album but "Screwheads" has the same unoriginal movie sample as "Wanna Be A Gangsta" (D.O.A.) in 1995, pretty boring & lame sorry. "The Circus" (Yumade) track is really cute. *Average* compilation, (7/10)
Guest [Anonymous]
This is a good compilation for those who like minimal.Actually I loved the karmacrusher track as well as the antix(the best till now fron them) and the pylon one.The wizzy noise track was a suprice for me becasue as far I listened to their album this track is much better. Finally the morphem track is pretty good reminds me the old good goa trax with those unforgetable melodies. My opinion is that this compilation tries to include all the dimensions of the new sound of trance that's why I will charge(!) 8/10 antideluvian

Guest ir0nm0nk3y
My impressions are that its an odd mixture of minimal and downbeat. Dark and lubby but, not hard. I can't really see people dancing to this but, it does have a nice low end atmosphere. I think perhaps a good transition coming out of hard, minimal on the path to chill/ambient. It has the power but, not the energy, if that makes any sense. Thoroughly enjoyable anyway you break it down. Its not Monarchie and its certainly not Cybermancy but, its still very nice. 7.5/
Guest triptological
After the disapointment that I got from big labels(flying rhino etc)I see that many many good releases are coming from really small ones like ZMA.This is top notch compilation with best trax from Antix, wizzy noise,Morphem and the danish project.... Give me more!!!!
Guest fylgia
A milestone in TechTrance history...darkish, hypnotic sounds for tribalistic results and heavy atmosphere. Best tracks: Wizzy Noise's - Screwheads, Data Entry - The Wall and Pylon - The Bro. ( gosh I hate this 150 BPM Morphem track, but that's just me )
Guest mazzive
A great comp, very dark sometimes, althought is minimal techno-trance, is more brighter in some tracks like the Antix one or the CD opener from Spy Vs Spy, seems like Hercules made this compilation based in minimal grooves around the globe, because the taste is quite different from track to track, in some of them we can listen a mostly german direction in other is more scandinavian flavored. In general is a very good compilation, the only track that I doesn´t feel that belongs here is the last one from Morphem but it´s a good one anyway.
